This uber luxurious high-end "Industrial Warehouse" inspired condo will utterly amaze you with it's unique features! Our 2nd floor family friendly unit has been completely renovated from floor to ceiling so everything is brand NEW! Gulf and pool views are available from the living room, master bedroom, and balconies. Blown Aweigh is located directly across the street from the Miramar Regional Public Beach which has restrooms, showers, handicap beach access, beach services, lifeguards and one of the most popular beach restaurant and grills in town, Pompano Joe's Seafood House! From the spacious balcony off the living room and master bedroom you can watch your family frolic in the community pool or toss the frisbee in the expansive grassy courtyard. This is an extra large 1280 sq/ft condo, complete with a laundry room and a 1 car garage which contains an extra full-size fridge. Both en suite bathrooms have European showers (no doors) with rain head fixtures and are tiled from floor to ceiling. The unit is next to the elevator or is accessible via the stairs. Pavilion Palms Condominium is a highly sought after, gated, Gulf Front, 3 story / low-rise, low density condominium containing 3 buildings and 30 units with stunning views of the Gulf. Pavilion Palms is one of the few condominiums in the area that has private garages and over-sized units. The (seasonally-heated) pool is located in the center courtyard and is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. Each building has it's own elevator. The public beach is just a short stroll across Scenic Gulf Drive, the old 25 mph beach road.

You can safely bike with the kids along the paved bike paths for awesome beach views. Our favorite activity.
You can walk to Pompano Joe's Seafood Captain Dave's On The Gulf, or Kenny D's Grill & Beach Bar, and sample some of the local seafood flavors or just to relax and sip on a cold one.

About the owner: Our very first road trip to Destin was in 1987. We immediately fell in love with the sugar white beaches and pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It was our little secret love nest that consisted mostly of walking on the beach and regular trips to the fish market. Well, Destin is no longer our little secret and we are very passionate about sharing all that it has to offer.
We have traveled extensively and "rented" property for our own family vacations. So we fully understand and appreciate the importance of finding a great location, having easy access to amenities, and a quality home that is clean and well maintained. In 2001 we took the plunge and purchased our first property in Destin and started living "The Dream". Eventually we moved to Destin full-time.
When we are asked why we manage the properties ourselves, it's a pretty easy answer; Who cares more about a property than the actual owners? Our properties are not "out of sight, out of mind" investments with an out of state owner that is managed by some large cookie cutter property management company. That is far from our approach. We live close to the rental properties and provide a hands-on approach with our guests and the properties. We even conduct our own weekly inspections! We also differ from the "herd" by regularly updating and upgrading our properties to keep the homes up-to-date and current. Since Betty has her Florida Real Estate license, it keeps us abreast of the most current trends in the housing and vacation rental markets.

Why this property? The Pavilion Palms condominium is very desirable in that it has easy access to the large public beach right across the street, which has restrooms, showers and handicap access. These units are extremely large for a condominium and they come with garages, which is almost unheard of in Destin. This particular unit is located on the second floor with beautiful gulf and pool views. Only 30 units are located in this complex, so the pool is not crowded and getting up to the second floor is a breeze either by stairs or the elevator which is conveniently located across the hall from 104A. No expense was spared in the 6 month renovation of this condo. We gutted the entire unit and started from scratch. This is a very unique condo with custom artwork and furniture. Everything about this condo was perfect. The condo was spacious, had great touches throughout the condo and high end furniture and appliances. Having the garage was a great amenity to keep from getting in a hot car as we went out. The garage was also fully stocked with beach chairs and several rafts, etc. for the beach and pool. Overall, I cannot say enough about this condo. You will not be disappointed staying here.

This condo was above and beyond a wonderful spot to spend our vacation week at the most amazing and beautiful beach on the gulf shores of Florida! This home away from home was very spacious and laid out well with the most up to date everything... Not to mention so modern and artistically designed! Great balcony to enjoy conversation and time at the beach with friends and family. This place is a must stay and have already recommended it to everyone I can share it with! We were Blown Away! Excellent Rental
This is an excellent choice for a great rental in Destin. We come to Destin a few times a year and we would stay here for sure again. Very clean unit and I'm a neat freak. Comfortable beds with huge TVs all throughout the unit (4 total!!) Very short walk to the beach! The garage was a huge plus so we'd have somewhere to store all our sandy floats, chairs, and sand toys. They even have a beach cart for families having to carry lots of stuff. Low density complex which I love (less people crowding the beach).
