Why Kids Love It
The beaches are wide and virtually unused so kids can play without interruption. The water is warm and the surf is generally calm, so even the smallest children can wade without fear, which parents will appreciate.
The Crescent Pearl resides in a exclusive gated community of six homes. There is a large private pool and spa that is adjacent to the Pearl. We overlook some of the finest beaches in Florida on Cape San Blas, preserved in their natural state. This small, remote location was hidden from developers for years, long enough for the federal govt to preserve most of the Cape as breeding grounds for endangered sea turtles, ensuring the beaches will retain its natural, pristine setting forever.
The area around the Pearl includes Port St Joe, Apalachicola, and St George Island, known as the "Forgotten Coast." The area is sparsely developed and populated, far from the crowded beaches, sovenir shops, and mania of Destin and the "Redneck Riveria." Perfect for families and groups seeking a quieter, more serene experience, the Crescent Pearl is the perfect place to slow down, relax, and unwind from the fast pace of our daily lives. Come, relax, and enjoy the friendly people, the wonderful beaches, excellent food, and warm, clean Florida water. You will be glad you did.

About the owner: Originally from Louisiana, our family now resides in Atlanta, GA. As Southerners, we love to entertain and open our home to share good food, fine wine, and the excellent company of friends and family. We purchased our first vacation home in Hilton Head a half-dozen years ago, because we loved the area, which was perfect for our young family. One villa became two, then three. A few years back, we sold a property we owned in New Orleans and bought this home in Cape San Blas, which we named the Crescent Pearl. It is a magnificent home, the last home of renowned local builder, Charles House, who used his skills to enhance the views by building a home with walls of windows facing the water and beaches. It is the perfect house for families to gather, relax, and reconnect. It is a wonderful home and the ambience is incredible. We are very fortunate to have the Pearl, and it gives us tremendous pleasure to share our good fortune with others. Come, enjoy, please be our guest.
Why this property? The Crescent Pearl was built as a Forever Home - not a second home at the beach, or a vacation rental. The Pearl is on entire other level - the quality of the materials and construction are much higher than typicals beach homes, and so much larger and spacious than typical beach homes, just no comparison.
The Crescent Pearl is jusIt a beautiful, luxury beach home, and one of the finer homes on the Cape. This is anything but your typical "box at the beach." This is a large, elegant, finely crafted and appointed home for guests that are seeking a high quality experience and memories for a lifetime. The architect and builder did a remarkable job crafting a home that enhanced the views of Florida's emerald green waters and white sands. Four screened porches allow guests to sit in comfort, bug-free, any time of the day, enjoying the soft seabreezes. Hear the surf and smell the fresh, salt air from the comfort of the patios.
The setting is spectacular - the Crescent Pearl sits high atop a dune overlooking the pristine beaches of Cape San Blas, one of Florida's finest beaches. Known as the "Forgotten Coast," this area is sparsely developed and appeals to guests seeking a quieter, more natural setting and ambience. Much of the area is federally preserved as breeding grounds for endangered sea turtles, ensuring the natural state of the area will remain intact forever.
If you seek the experience of a lifetime on one of the finest beaches anywhere, we'd love to share our home.
Guestbook comments from the host:
Beautifully decorated rental, very comfy, cozy, and well stocked kitchen. Ocean views were serene. Sunrises and sunsets were remarkable. Loved convenience of garage! Small, friendly neighborhood with easy access to beach. Excellent, prompt, and attentive management.
Thank you Nall for this opportunity to stay at your place. Even right after the Hurricane hit that area, house is quite good condition and every thing is ready. We stayed together with our friend family, total 4 adults and 4 kids, for 7 nights, the space is very large and surrounding is so quiet. Easy access to private white sand beach with lots of sea shells, Temperature was not quite warm but we are from Toronto Canada so it is quite comfortable. I want to come back to your place again!
The views are beautiful. Set in the woods with great beach views as well. You can easily hear the waves sitting on the decks. House was very clean and well equipped. Walk to the beach was easy. The screens were damaged from the hurricane, but didn't stop us from enjoying the decks (there are 4 to choose from!). You even have a bay view. Wildlife was abundant-bears, eagles, dolphins, birds. The owners were quick to reply and very easy to work with. I could definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with my family! Mellissa
We had such an amazing experience here! The home is absolutely beautiful...very clean, decorated so well and equipped with all that we needed. We loved the location too. Just a quick walk to the very peaceful, quiet beach. The owner Nall was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to come back!
Simply Perfect! The location, the Views, The Beach, The Waves......I can go on and on. This amazing house is located within the trees with ocean views. Screened in porches with a cup of coffee In the morning overlooking the oceans nestled within the trees. Easy driving distance to shops and restaurants. We cannot wait to go back!

The Crescent Pearl is a stunning home nestled away in a private community on the Cape offering renters a tranquil escape. The owners were exceptionally responsive and made it clear from the beginning that they intended to deliver nothing short of a five-star experience. The home offers top end furnishings and finishes in every room. My wife and I celebrated our 11th anniversary at the Crescent Pearl with our three children and my parents. Vacationing with three children under the age of 9 -- often times we return home needing a vacation. This was not the case this year. The master suite combined with the home’s abundant space and amazing screened-in porches can be described as nothing less than the ultimate retreat. Upon booking, I was initially concerned regarding the overall view and proximity to the water given the second tier location. Absolutely no need for concern! I cooked numerous meals while enjoying the expansive water views the home offered combined with a unique wooded experience. I highly recommend the Crescent Pearl and eagerly anticipate a return trip in the future.
My wife and I rented the house for a week in April for our anniversary. We had such a great time! The house was perfect beyond advertised. We enjoyed the privacy of the neighborhood and the location of the house, just nestled in the pines but a short walk to the beach or pool. The screen porches combined with favorable weather allowed us to open the french doors, take in the Gulf breezes, and hear the crashing waves at night. Very relaxing. Nall insured that all amenities were provided for and made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. EVERYTHING in the house was brand new and of good quality including linens, furniture, and decor. Although it was just the two of us, the house was big enough for 8 people to sleep comfortably. Overall great house and great stay. We would definitely book again.
The Crescent Pearl is a beautiful home in an even more beautiful setting with views of the gulf or the bay from every window. This is without a doubt the best setting we have ever experience for a beach vacation. Roomy, and well furnished, our family of eight especially enjoyed the large rooms, and the screened in porches that provided an opportunity to take in the sights sounds, and smells of the ocean. The large kitchen, with all of the items provided for meal preparation was very convenient and we also enjoyed several of the local eateries as well as day trips into Port St Joe and Apalachicola. The kids enjoyed many hours at the beach as well as the pool, both are only a few feet from the house. We will definitely return and would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun filled vacation.

Paradise in the time of covid!
Absolutely loved this beautiful home that was a quiet retreat. Steps to the beach, which we had virtually to ourselves, making it the perfect getaway in the time of Covid. The house is spacious and well-appointed, lots of thoughtful touches like screened in porches on every level and off ever room mean good nighttime star-gazing without being bitten. The amenities insured all we had to bring was ourselves, some groceries, and our bathing suits, the owners thought of everything else. You can tell a lot of love & thought have gone into the furnishing and outfitting of this place. We will totally look to return to this home away from home.

Such a pleasure to have someone enjoy our home and the Cape as we do. Glad you found everything to your liking. My wife put much thought into furnishings and decor of the Pearl, so your appreciation means quite a lot. Thank you for your stay and the generous review. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests.
Awesome Gulf Views From The Master Bedroom Of This Home!
This is absolutely the best location on CSB, located in a quiet wooded setting, with screened porches that allowed us to enjoy views of the Gulf as well as of St Joseph Bay. We enjoyed the great room with its beautiful furnishings, and the kitchen which had everything we needed to prepare meals. The layout of this home is perfect for any group, but for us, we found that the bedroom arrangement was just what we needed to give the kids the space they needed, their grandparents their space in the en suite bedroom on the next level, and for us to enjoy the beautiful views of the Gulf from the master bedroom. At night, we left the doors leading to the patio from the bedroom open, and enjoyed the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore. An absolutely amazing home which we would recommend to anyone.
