Very clean condo, great communication with host!

Located in Calypso Towers Resort and walking distance to Pier Park. My husband and I enjoyed easy access to the beach and pools. Short walk to the pier. Plenty of shopping, eating and entertainment. We drove an oversized truck so parking at the Calypso was no issue. Very short drive to Dusty's or Sharky's. We enjoyed the kitchen basics the condo had to offer. Shopped at the local Winn Dixie and grabbed a few groceries. Enjoyed the balcony with the Adirondack beach chairs so you can stare out at the water or people watch! I took my binoculars so I could see anything from a distance. This condo came fully equipped. For the two of us we didn't have to go buy anything extra. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. The condo was very well decorated and gave you that "beach vibe" as soon as you entered. Will definitely stay again! John is great to book with! He communicated with me the entire duration of the booking. Don't miss out on this one when it becomes available. You won't be disappointed!

A fabulous place in a great location!

My wife and I stayed in 903W for seven nights. From the time we first entered until the minute we left every thing about the unit worked out great for us. It is a very inviting and comfortable unit. I had to work remotely a good bit of the time we were there and the internet service was great. The pool as well as the beach service are both good as well. We loved being so close to Pier Park for easy access to the shops. A few of our favorite restaurants in the PCB area are Dat Cajun Place & Triple J's (both on Thomas Drive). Also Shuckum's and Salty Sue's are on our list. We would definitely book this Condo again without hesitation. It checked all of the boxes for us. John, the owner, was great with all communications about the property and even checked to see how things were going (which all was great!).

Awesome!

Best experience ever! Condo was clean and beautiful! John was excellent to work with. The only complaint about the complex, is that it needs a bar/grill, to grab a hotdog or burger through out the day.

The perfect getaway!

Great detailed rental documentation up front. The condo was clean, reasonable, nicely decorated and a perfect location! On top of that it came with beach service for 2 chairs and one umbrella!! John has great communication. This was our first time in Panama City Beach and he even had a sheet of great restaurant recommendations on the table with descriptions. We highly recommend him and the Calypso Resort and we will be back!!A big plus: The elevators are fast in the buildings, so not much waiting for them!!

Beach vacation

Fantastic Experience!

We stayed at the condo for one week It was a fantastic experience. The condo is super clean with everything you need. It was large enough for a family of five. It was close to everything and parking was easy John the owner was quick responsive and checked in on us multiple times to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Excellent Condo and Exceptional Service

The location of the condo is great. It's within walking distance to Pier Park, restaurants and several souvenier shops. Parking was no problem. Unit was clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning up. Pool was refreshing. Wish there was a hot tub and grills, but we were fine without them. John was excellent to work with. He checked on us several times during our stay to make sure everything was okay. We hope to visit again soon!

A FUN STAY

WE HAD A VERY FUN STAY. LOVED THE DECK CHAIRS ON THE BALCONY WHILE VIEWING THE OCEAN. WONDERFUL POOLS. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WERE THE TABLE AND CHAIRS. THOSE TALL PUB CHAIRS ARE NOT COMFORTABLE FOR OLDER PEOPLE LIKE US. THE BAR STOOLS ARE NOT ANY BETTER. WE WISHED THE TABLE WAS A LITTLE BIGGER, AT NIGHT WE LIKE TO PLAY BOARD GAMES, SO WE WENT TO WALMART AND BOUGHT A 24 X36 INCH PICTURE TO LAY ON TABLE SO WE HAD ROOM TO PLAY. Great Place

Easter at the beach

John was very responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. We arrived early and was surprised when he told us the unit was already ready. The beach chairs are a wonderful extra when you have small children and a ton of things to take to the beach. The unit was well equipped and suitable for our family of 4. Very nice!

We spent our Spring Break at 903 at the Calypso. The condo was perfect, cute, and nice and clean. It had everything my husband and I needed for the week. Having Pier Park across the street was very handy to walk to, since PCB was extremely crowded and with the traffic, it took forever to go to dinner. So the walk across the street was great. We loved spending time at Tootsie's and all of the restaurants and shopping were great. John was super helpful and answered all of our questions we had!

Beautiful condo and great location!!

This condo is beautiful decorated and very comfortable. Our family of 3 would stay here again. The location on beach is perfect, it’s conveniently located next to pier park, making shopping and dinner plans a quick 5min walk with no fighting traffic to park - This is a HUGE plus!!! The condo was well equipped, even had a Keurig coffee maker. The chairs on the balcony we’re relaxing for morning coffee and sunsets. The condo was clean and well maintained, beds were comfortable, TV had a good selection of channels (nice for rainy days), plenty of beach equipment in the condo for guest to use including a small cooler and boogie boards, shelling and minnow nets. The convenience of the beach chair service was an added bonus to renting this condo. John was very easy to work with on booking this unit, he was quick to answer questions. 5 stars for John’s service and 5 stars for his condo. Paradise on Panama Beach

This was a great vacation! It was easy to book and all the information you needed was emailed to you. The condo is on the 9th floor and has a beautiful view of the beach, pools and the gulf. It was fun to set on the balcony and watch everything. Even thought it's a one bedroom there is plenty of room. There are recessed bunks in the hall and a couch that pulls out and two full bathrooms. We had 4 people and there was plenty of room. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Great location and you can walk to restaurants and shopping. The condo is very clean. I would rent this unit again. The owner is very helpful.

Excellent Experience

Having never been to Panama City Beach before, we definitely picked the best and I will repeat, the best, location. It was a few minutes walk to Pier Park where there are multiple restaurants, stores and activities. As well, there are several walking trails around lakes. There were several events that were at Pier Park and the outdoor stage that we enjoyed while we were there. The condo was great as well. Loved the sunset every night right from the balcony. It was clean, well equipped and quiet. Definitely would recommend (and have recommended) this to others.

Perfect Get-Away

The Calypso was a great get away spot. The view of the beach, ocean and pier are wonderful. It was a peaceful place to stay and relax. We were welcomed by a great staff and clean condo. Enjoyed the stay tremendously. It was so nice being within walking distance to Pier Park. Our favorite place to eat was Pampano Joe’s. We ate seafood every evening but actually ate at Pampano’s twice.Utilizing the Beach service was extremely easy and the beach staff was very nice and accommodating. Just Perfect

A Slice of Heaven

This makes our 3rd time staying with John. He is a pleasure to work with. He goes beyond making sure your stay is wonderful. Walking into his units , you can tell he takes pride in his units. His kitchen is fully stocked with all you need if you decide to prepare meals. The furniture is not only beautiful but also extra comfortable. All the comforts of home are here. The views from the balcony is beautiful , while sitting in the high top chairs that you can see over the rails instead of thru them. 5-STAR!! *****

John's 9th floor condo at Calypso was the best! A perfect view, free beach service, and a beautifully decorated vacation home away from home. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was beachy AND glam! Along with the two hallway bunks, there is a sofa bed in the LR (plenty of room to leave it open if needed) and a second full size bathroom so a family of 5 or 6 could stay here comfortably. The location is directly across from Pier Park which meant we didn't have to drive at all! The parking garage crosses over he road directly to the condo, which is convenient and safe, I found this hidden gem at the last minute and I'm thankful I did. John was a very good host, making sure I had all the info needed before check-in, made sure everything was ok after arrival, and helped me with an issue I had during checkout. I will definitely be back. If you're looking for a great place to stay in PCB, don't pass this one up!

Quiet Getaway

Perfect week in PCB!

We had a girls trip to PCB this past week & it was wonderful. John was great to work with. The condo was beautiful and the view was stunning!!! We had absolutely perfect weather! Our only recommendation is for there to be more bath towels. The only complaint we had was that the mattresses were not super comfy but we didn’t expect anything spectacular. Great trip

To start, John was a lifesaver for our vacation in so many ways! We had a house booked, a couple months prior to our vacation that fell through due to construction so I was frantically looking for something for my family and my sisters family. I was hesitant to stay in Panama City because we are used to Santa Rosa and haven’t been down this far in a while. Florida is hopping right now so we basically took what we could get! That worked out for the best for us! John helped me find an additional unit for my sisters family in same complex so we wouldn’t be too far from one another, I feel like he went above and beyond by doing this and I’m so very grateful. Next, we get to Florida, I hear immediately from John making sure all is good, we had a slight issue with a funny smell and a couple other things that I would want to know about if I were the condo owner so I told him and he instantly had someone there to fix the issue! The condo itself was so nice, newly remodeled and everything we needed was there even a small cooler for the beach and floats for the water (super handy!) The beach was pretty crowded, more than I’m used to in Santa Rosa but having the beach chairs already was so convenient. We were traveling with teenagers and being so close to the pier and Pier Park was The best for them, I never worried about them going over to pier park to shop or eat and they had the best vacation because they had some freedom to roam! Thank you John for the worry free vacation! I know we will be back!!!

Great place!

Great place to spend your vacation. The condo was very clean, and was well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and the appliances are high end. The furniture is very comfortable and the view from the ninth floor is quite special. The pier and pier park is super close and very easy to get there. The beach in front of the condo is wide and close to volleyball nets, and water sports kiosk.We were 3 adults and 2 kids and we were very comfortable and happy with the amenities. The two pools were big enough and the sun doesn't hit them at all times so when you are tired of the sun (it might happen) you can switch to the pool in no time.Parking was easy and very close to shopping centers.John was very approachable and easy to work with. He was very responsive and available for anything we needed.Overall very good place to stay, we had lots of fun and fun memories. Will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Spectacular balcony birw

We begin our stay with a beautiful view of the New Year’s fireworks at Pier Park. The sunrises and sunsets were strikingly beautiful. Relaxing on the balcony not only did we enjoy the panoramic view, we were able to taken-in the sun. John was an awesome host checking in to ensure we were comfortable. The condo is beautifully decorated in a costal theme and extremely comfortable. I’m sure we’ll be retiring to this amazing condo experience.

Awesome as Always!!

Let me start by saying John is fabulous to deal with and is always checking in to make sure your stay is all that you expected. I have stayed with John before but got to visit in September and October this year and may decide to stay again! Both of his condos are clean, comfy and provide everything you will need for your stay. If you get the chance to stay in one of his condos be sure to eat dinner at one of our faves Runaway Island and if you are looking for a nice romantic night out try Firefly. We also love walking down and eating oysters at Shuckums and listening to karaoke at night or walk the other direction Dusty’s Oyster Bar!

Beautiful home

Stayed in 903W for a week in September. Beautiful decor, clean, everything we needed was there. Bed was very comfortable. John was very responsive with answering any questions promptly.

Wonderful

This condo is so clean and great and I am a very picky person !! John is great to work with !! This is the second year I have rented from him . This year we tried the lower level condo as of last year we had the higher level one . Both were wonderful and so clean !! I so appreciate a honest person who I am renting from . The only trouble we had this year was that the air conditioning went out in our whole building for at least almost 2 days but that wasn’t his fault. I will definitely rent from fyou I’m John again and tell my friends and customers to rent from him!!

John Hughes Calypso

John was an absolutely fantastic host! He was quick to answer any questions & made several helpful suggestions. The condo was very clean, well decorated & had a very welcoming feel. The beach front view was unbeatable! We enjoyed our stay and most certainly will be booking through him in the future. Awesome place

We absolutely loved staying in this unit. It was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The view was fantastic. It was nice that there were two swimming pools and a tiki bar. I appreciated that the owner provided beach chairs with his unit. The unit was very clean and the owner was a pleasure to deal wit!

Out Of This World!

Where do i even begin?!?! I came across the Hughes's condo at Calypso Resort when searching for a place to stay in FL for our celebration/vacation. When i had called and talk to John on the phone he was super nice and helpful. We were super excited and honored to be the first guests to stay at the condo, on the beach!When we arrived and got to the room, we were not disappointed one bit. It was extremely clean, smelled good, beachy vibe, fun colors, cute, and had a great view. The condo had everything we needed and more which made everything for our stay so much more convenient! Pots, pans, cups, fridge, washer, dryer, silverware, tv, wifi, netflix, pool, beach chair, and more!The Hughes's are such amazing and friendly people. Whenever you have any questions or concerns they would go above and behind to assist you. They really knocked the ball out of the park when it comes to making the guests feel comfortable as well as meeting if not exceeding expectations!I would absolutely recommend renting from the awesome couple! You definitely get your moneys worth out of it. Of course, some motels are cheaper but i can assure you the experience will NOT be the same. Especially when you don't get all the living essentials, clean environment, and luxury that you do at a condo.I would give 6 stars if I could.

Very convenient to everything

My daughter & I enjoyed staying in Calypso 903W. It was the perfect size space for us & exactly the right floor for the balcony view. It was so convenient to walk out the condo & right into the downtown stores & restaurant & pier. The condo was clean & well kept. We will go back for sure! I would highly recommend this place to others looking for a PCB vacation.

Best Condo & location

We stayed here as soon as the rental ban was lifted. So very glad we picked this condo. SUPER CLEAN, I don't say that lightly. Well furnished, very comfy king bed. Great view from the balcony. Loved the balcony chairs/table, my husband now wants to buy some, lol. So nice to walk to Pier Park. Entire complex kept beautiful & clean. We never once felt uncomfortable. Forgot about the pandemic going on. Lol. Never had an owner bend over backwards to help us with our reservations. Coming back in the fall, already reserved! Thank you John Hughes!

A Million Dollar View

We recently stayed for a week in Johns unit at 903 West. John was very attentive to our needs and kept in touch with us throughout the process of checking in and out. Even though we ran into issues with the COVID-19 and the water being shut down for a while for repairs, we would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone.When you are sitting on the balcony there is not a care in the world! 903W Calypso

Calypso Towers is ideally located in walking distance to shopping and the beach. Each day we were able to walk the beach or around Pier Park and follow it up with a swim in the heated pool. A short drive and I was able to play a round of golf at Signal Hill. All in all it was a pleasant two months

Perfect place to ring in 2020

We decided to be in PCB for NYE and the beach ball drop. We could not have picked a more perfect condo in the best location for what we were in town for. John was great to work with and made the rental process very easy on such short notice. The condo is very beautiful and was very well organized and clean. We would definitely recommend this unit.

Beautiful condo

My husband and I had the pleasure of renting one of nicest condos in PCB. It was updated and exceptionally clean. The condo was on the ninth floor. The furnishings were of great quality and very updated. You could tell the owner took pride in his unit and made it like home to his guest. It was conveniently located within walking distance to Pier Park. We enjoyed the fireworks nightly during our stay from our condo. The views of the beach is breathtaking. The owner John was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was great when we arrived. I am looking forward in booking again soon.

Beautiful condo and great location!

This condo was very clean, stocked and updated to the max. We loved that across the street was Pier Park - walking distance to anything you wanted in shopping and food! Nice pools and walk out on the beach with a beautiful from view from the balcony as you drink your morning coffee...

Cozy and Perfect

My husband and I arrived on a Wednesday night. The parking garage was very secure and the walk over from the garage was very safe and clean. We got to the condo with a little wait for the elevator. The condo was perfect . It’s everything you need. Even though a tropical depression came through on Friday, we got to spend a day on the beach Thursday. We met a lot of people. The walk to the beach is not beach buggy friendly but we managed. We waited Friday for the storm at Pier Park. We enjoyed Margarita Ville and Tootsie’s. FUN! When the storm came in, I enjoyed Netflix in the bedroom and he watched football in the living room. Thank you John for a wonderful trip! John was a great host and we will be back soon!

Clean, up-to-date, family-oriented, oceanfront condo.

Our second year in a row staying in this same condo and we hope to again next year! It is perfect for me and my husband, and our 8-year-old son loves the bunk beds! Very clean and modern and the owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. We highly recommend it!

Calypso 903 West

The stay at Caltpso 903 West was one of my favorite all time. Great amenities, great view, and great location. The days were spent at the beach with near perfect conditions. The nights were spent at Pier Park with all of the activities there just a short walk from the condo. I plan to make this location to be my primary preferred location for future vacations.

Few days of relaxing with grandkids

We walked into a freshly painted, updated condo. It was so nice and had the perfect beachy feel I love to spend time in.It had plenty of kitchen utensils etc for cooking. I had brought items with me usually are not found in kitchens. I never pulled out of back my items except for kitchen towels & drainer cloth.The walk over road from Parking garage to condo’s is a long one. Nothing can really be done about that as they are on opposite sides of street. Thankful for enclosure walk-thru. But luckily the dollie carts for luggage are in the parking garage.We will return to this condo again as we go to Panama City Beach each year.The owner, John is great! Was so much better renting from a person instead of VRBO or some other company.

End of Summer Fun

Cylapso Resort 2-903 This condo is not only beautiful but the view is breathtaking. This was our first trip of many to come to Panama City Beach, FL. This condo has all the comforts of home and decorated like the cover of a beach magazine. The bed in the master bedroom slept wonderful as well as the sleeper sofa. Our small family of 3 had so much fun and enjoyed the balcony sitting and enjoying morning coffee. We stayed at the resort except for 2 nights everything is ik n walking distance. What a way to start your day. The sandwich shop Fattys across the street was great. Having a washer and dryer was important and nice. We hope to to book again in 2020. The Owners have left nothing out. They were in contact from booking to checking in and making sure things were good. We had a wonderful stay here. The Shufords

Great location for family fun!

Had an amazing stay with my family at your condo. It was very spacious for our family of 5 and the view and location right by Pier Park made family fun and dinner easy. Really enjoyed being close to the pier and being within walking distance of so many activities. Such easy access to the beach and pool made it easy for my boys to enjoy themselves. Just what we needed.

We have stayed at the Calypso around 7 times so far, and this condo was just what we needed. John kept in touch from day 1 of booking and was available by phone with quick response if there were questions. We had no issues with the condo, the elevators, or the building. The only thing I would change is activating the parking pass in the early morning of arrival. The pass did not activate until 12 noon, and we arrived at 10:00 a.m.. If the parking pass was activated, we could have parked and went to the beach while the room was was being cleaned, but we had to ride around and find somewhere to eat before noon. We still got in there at noon and went to the beach until our room was ready though, but I think it needs to be activated earlier in the day. I really like the ability to set my own door key code for the condo, instead of having to remember someone else's long number. Overall, there were no issues and we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely consider renting again in the future.

We booked a stay during the Fourth of July 2019 and had a great time. We love the location because of the close proximity to pier park. The owner of the room stayed in contact in the weeks leading up to our stay and sent emails letting us know about events in the area. Was very pleased and would recommend a stay.

PCB Calypso 903W

What an amazing condo to stay in. All new upgrades and new bed. Close to everything. Walking distance to pier park. Nice pools, tiki bar and friendly staff. We will definitely be booking with John again. He is very easy to work with and quick to reply back with any questions or issues.

Perfect Location!!

This unit is ocean front. Lots of shade on the balcony. Comfortable chairs. Within walking distance to Pier Park which is a shopping outdoor mall and many wonderful restaurants. A movie theater is also in this area. Owner is updating some furniture so it's going to be even better, but we were fine with what was there. John is very nice to work with and answers any questions very quickly. He manages this personally which is way better than most companies that we have dealt with. Would stay here again!!
