The Home, Pool, Tiki Hut, and Jacuzzi all have a great water front and also canal views. A variety of mature tropical palms adorn the property including Royal Palms, Date Palms, Bush Tail, and Fox tail palms. The yard is beautiful and has boat dockage for small motor craft or sailboats also available.
The beautiful four (4) bedroom ranch home updated with fresh paint, LED lighting and coastal furnishings. The home is situated on a canal just off the Peace River 160 feet of water frontage. The Private Pool with the flow over Jacuzzi, is nicely landscaped and has a very nice deck with plenty of lounging and seating both in the sun and shade. The Tiki hut has a bar, seating, fan, lighting and bar stools available for relaxing and is nautical decorated. The home has an open concept floor plan and four (4) large bedrooms; 3 of them have walk in closets, TV's and theme furniture with a lot of storage room. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and a private full bath. The guest bath is large, has a sky light and tub/shower combination.
Both the Florida room and living room have plenty of comfortable seating and large flat screen TV's. The dining room has seating for 6 people + and the kitchen is modern well equipped and has all appliances. The home also has a fully equipped laundry room. Nice fun tasteful coastal décor throughout and Terrazzo Floors, wireless internet/WIFI throughout. The exterior also has WIFI accessible in most areas and a stereo system that is blue tooth capable. Lounges, table, seating, Bar B Que, flowers, tropical plants, decking, and separate patio areas with views.
Golf enthusiasts love this Florida home for it's proximity to two local courses 10-12 minutes north. Both the Maple Leaf Golf & Country Club as well as the Kings Gate Golf Club each offer challenging 18-hole golf courses and spectacular views.
On the nights that you don't feel like cooking on-site, head out the door to dine at one of the local eateries. The Blue Turtle is a 10-minute drive from the house and is a Punta Gorda top-spot for delicious seafood towers, fried oysters, and mouthwatering desserts.
If you're traveling with children, be sure to make the 2 hour and 10-minute trek to Disney World to give them an entertaining experience they will remember for the rest of their lives!
When you want to change up your scenery, drive 13 minutes to reach the Port Charlotte Beach Park for an amazingly scenic dog-friendly beach to swim, canoe, fish, or take a refreshing jog.
Also 35 minutes to 50 minutes to Siesta Key, Englewood, Boca Grande or Fort Meyers beautiful sandy Fun Beach's.

The house is a quick 5 minute drive to shopping, drug stores, attractions, parks, restaurant's, fishing boats, Fisherman's village, and short drive to several beautiful beach's Siesta key, Englewood, Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor. Downtown Punta Gorda is great for walking, shopping, or taking in local music and art. Activities seem to always be going on especially on the weekend with Farmers market, art shows and local events. Fisherman's Village is a great place to spend an afternoon dining and shopping. If you like there is also a night life with music and pubs, Tiki Bar with music on the Harbor Coastline at the Four Pointe Sheraton, within walking distance to other venues. We had the best time there. Spent most of our time fishing off the dock, swimming in the pool and cooking on the grill! It is truly beautiful! The house is well kept and very clean. If you have any questions or need help with anything Brian the owner is on point! Responds very quickly and is super nice! A lot of restaurants and stores to shop nearby. A great place to stay! If we go back to Punta Gorda we will definitely be staying there again!

We had an amazing family vacation here. The house was clean and comfortable. Just the right size for all of us. The backyard pool is amazing. The kids were in it several times a day. We used the kayaks and saw dolphins in the canal behind the house. The fishing from the dock was great too. There were plenty of beach towels and the kitchen is well equipped. We took advantage of the beach chairs and boogie boards when we went to the beach. It was just a wonderful place to stay and I hope to be back again. Thanks for sharing your home with us and providing us with an amazing vacation!

Looking ahead toward a possible Christmas escape with my family, I booked this house months in advance, despite knowing if border restrictions would still apply. As luck would have it, last-minute travel restrictions were changed and this trip of a lifetime came true.SHORT ANSWER: Amazing host(s) and amazing oasis.Brian was quick to reply to any/all inquiries and never once gave me a reason to doubt his sincerity and honesty. The house was as described and the backyard oasis has now officially spoiled me forever. As a person who is currently looking to acquire his own similar paradise space down south, my experience In Punta Gorda exceeds my budget.Thanks to the easing of border restrictions (Canadian(s) here), I was able to head south earlier than expected. Even on short notice, Brian accommodated my request to arrive early and was more than reasonable with rates. The original booking for the home was from December 13th, 2021 through January 13th, 2022, and I was able to arrive early (since it was available) on December 8th, 2021. We left on the date planned as another guest was confirmed but would have loved to stay longer. As such, the wife and I relocated to Daytona Beach to extend our stay in Florida.OUR STAYAt one point during our stay, we reached 9 guests and the house was more than capable of handling our crowd. My wife and I are motorcycle riders and our hosts were awesome with allowing us to park our enclosed trailer in the driveway, thereby eliminating one headache of finding a site to park the wagon. The narrow but long driveway accommodated our vehicles and we had to shuffle once in a while, but trust me, not an issue.THE HOUSEThe house is clean, bright, and open. While everything wasn't perfect as this is an older home, we are not hard to please and the minor things that some would notice, we did not nor did we get bothered by it/them. Nothing wrong, just squeaks and creaks, etc. Four bedrooms, two full baths, spacious kitchen, working AC, Hot water, and laundry; what more do you need.THE BACKYARDAmazing: I want this. Pool and overflow hot tub, tiki hut, dock, canal, dolphins, birds, palm trees, and a sunrise worth getting up for. I can't say how much I could live in that yard year-roundOVERALLI really really really want to say bad things here so I can be selfish and have the place anytime I want, but I can't. The house is older but overall amazing. Happy to return if Brian and Sue will have us.

We had an amazing stay. It felt like we were in our own tropical oasis. We loved sitting outside at night admiring the beautiful yard that felt like paradise and waking up in the morning drinking coffee with such a wonderful view. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fishing and kayaking. Everything we needed was provided for our stay. Fishing poles, bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, cooler, etc. (the list goes on). The home is clean and beautifully decorated. Brian and Sue were very easy to contact if we had any questions. We will definitely visit our tropical paradise again!
