MARATHON ANGLER'S RETREAT in Marathon is a brand new property with every modern convenience and warm coastal decor! Located right on a canal (just 15-20 minutes from open water) it has its own private dock (can accommodate up to a 35' boat on a 32' dock), fish cleaning station, private pool, hot tub, and two single kayaks! There is a neighborhood beach just down the street and the grocery store is hardly a minute away! Located in the heart of Marathon, MM50, great restaurants and activities are within a 5-10 minute drive!
The Master Bedroom is located upstairs and has a king bed, flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and water closet. Upstairs are two guest bedrooms that share a hall bath. One is a King with a flat-screen TV and the other has bunk beds with a trundle (twin/full/twin), a flat-screen TV, and an XBOX 360 with games! The guest room downstairs has a King bed, flat-screen TV, and its own bathroom. You'll enjoy a beautiful view down the canal from the second-floor balcony and the colors from the sunrises and sunsets!
In addition to the pool, hot tub, and kayaks, Marathon Angler's Retreat has plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys and umbrella, and board games (plus a tv in every bedroom and living room, XBOX360 and games)! Enjoy grilling (both charcoal and gas grills) on the covered patio downstairs! There is plenty of parking, too, for your boat trailer and cars (covered parking for two and a parking area on the side of the Villa that can accommodate additional cars and/or a boat trailer)!
The Villa is pet friendly (breed approval, 2 dogs) with a $75 fee per dog, plus tax and credit card processing, as applicable (in addition to required damage insurance purchased at the time of booking.

Great property. Wonderful maintenance staff. Plenty of supplies provided such as garbage bags etc. Great location. Couple of minor issues were addressed quickly. Family really enjoyed our week there and did not want to leave, which isn't always the case.Loved spending time in the pool and hot tub with family. My daughter and Son in Law used the kayaks in the channel and saw manatees. A little hard to get into off the ladder and was hoping to capture my daughter falling into the water for America's Funniest Video to pay for the trip, but unfortunately she didn't cooperate.Weather was beautiful except for the winds. Had hoped to do more diving, but winds kept charter boats at the dock except for the last day. We did finally get to dive Looe Key with 3 generations of divers including two newly certified grandkids. We also snorkeled at nearby Bahia Honda, Sombrero Beach, and Zac Taylor.

Decided on a last-minute family getaway for some much-needed R&R with my now "adult" children, and all I can say is that it was amazing from start to finish! The house was the perfect size, fully stocked just as promised, with the most relaxing pool and backyard area we could have hoped for. The location was ideal too — close to great restaurants and supermarkets, all just minutes away. Most importantly, Meredith was an absolute delight to work with. I’m so grateful for her hard work and thoughtful attention in helping me plan our week. She truly made all the difference, and I’m already looking forward to booking with her again and trying out more of her wonderful properties!

Pamela S.Wonderful home with a great location
Meredith and Pineapple Properties were very accommodating, and answered all of our questions. The home, the pool, and the hot tub are all in great working shape, well-maintained, and clean. The property is close to the beach and within walking distance to the grocery store and an hour from Key West. There are many fun things to do close by. I would highly recommend this property for multiple couples or a family.

We had an amazing time at Angler's Retreat. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We have made seven trips to Marathon and always prefer to book with Pineapple Properties. No matter what property we choose with PP and Meredith, I know we will be happy! We will absolutely be booking again next year.

This four bedroom condo is spacious and well appointed. It came supplied with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the pool and the barbecue. Everyone in our family throughly enjoyed the place and remarked that it is one of the best places we have ever stayed. If your are visiting the Florida Keys, this is the place to stay.
