Why Kids Love It
Kids and toddlers love it because of hot tub and pool convenience for them and their parents. The boardwalk connects the front of Sunset Vistas to both pools . . . and access to Tiki bar and the beach walkway.
Don't forget that "Scuba Steve" greets the young ones. There is a box on the boardwalk with occasional beach toys. There is also a box in the condo with beach and pool toys - please wipe off the sand and return (or leave your favorites for "next time").
Parents love the view - and kids love the Shake Shop. The lounge and courtyard gardens are worthy of a stroll while heading to the beach.
Area Information
Five minutes south of John's Pass and five minutes north of downtown Treasure Island, Sunset Vistas is lined by sidewalks, great restaurants, family atmosphere and of course the beach.
Heading to John's Pass in itself is a destination. Check out the welcome center at John's Pass (coupons and specials) - enjoy the custard.
Heading to downtown Treasure Island is another great destination.

So many within John's Pass and downtown Treasure Island - and on the way to these destinations that can be "walked by" beach or by sidewalk.
Many - you are right in the middle of everything. This is were it is a good idea to also visit the John's Pass Welcome/Visitors center. They will want you to shop at John's Pass but they have great information on downtown Treasure Island also.

Ricky T's and Caddy's are local favorites and can get "rambunctious" -
Sloppy Joe's is good for live music and that "Key West" environment and you can often sit right by the beach AND there is live music. In the lobby or first level of the Billmar hotel.

The purpose of my visit was to spend some time being close to and walking on the beaches of the Gulf. I have spent a lot of time in Naples, and It is very nice. I had never had time in the St. Pete area, so this was my first time. The condo was everything it claimed. The interior was nice, but the view was what made it worthwhile. I love the close parking, the elevator outside the condo, and the perfect view. I was totally satisfied!

Rick was wonderful to work with in booking his condo. We stayed in 605. The unit was very clean and the beds very comfortable. It met all my expectations of comfort and cleanliness and the views from the patio were good. The grounds were well kept as was the pool and hot tubs. Wonderful vacation and condo! Loved our stay. Condo is in a great location and parking is readily accessible. The tiki bar was fun and we took advantage of the cafe on site. Our view was awesome overlooking the beach. Rick was always accessible and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Rick was a pleasure to work with on renting this condo. Communication was great throughout the process and renting directly from the owner saves you from unnecessary booking fees. The condo is exactly as pictured, very clean, with well-stocked kitchenware, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. This unit comes with a conveniently covered reserved parking spot located near the elevators. The Sunset Vistas complex itself is beautiful, well-maintained and clean; with multiple elevators to avoid long wait times, even during the crowded holiday week! Our family enjoyed the large pool, tiki bar, easy access to the beach and close proximity (walking distance) to Johns Pass and many good restaurants nearby. Thank you, Rick!

We were so glad we booked your condo ! It was the perfect way to escape winter while feeling safe from Covid. The cleanliness, comfort, in unit laundry and well stocked kitchen made it seem like home. Owners Rick & Charlotte Gonzalez definitely go the extra mile replacing worn but very useable items without us asking. A knife block set & new sheets were delivered very quickly. Their attention to detail is greatly appreciated! Mornings spent walking the beach & neighborhoods nearby kept us active and ready to linger on the balcony inthe afternoon. A perfect spot to relax or read. Local Osprey fly by making it even better. The Gulf views made for excellent relaxation. We couldn't have had a better stay!

Rick was awesome in helping me and my husband along with newlyweds my brother and his new bride. We had booked elsewhere and on our way to check in learned they had cancelled our reservation with no warning. This condo is a must stay. It was perfectly located on the TI strip, right on the beach, and a short walk to Johns Pass. The condo was very CLEAN and they had a few beach supplies as well. There is a kid pool area and a larger pool area with hot tub - both very clean and spaced out. The Café and Bar staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. This condo comes with a covered parking spot only a few spaces from the elevator and your room is right in front as soon as you exit the elevator. We will be back for sure.

Rick’s unit at Sunset Vista resort was very nice, cozy and clean...we booked shortly after county opened to short term rentals. Rick was very accommodating and responsive to my numerous questions. Our assigned parking spot was covered and centrally located... Pools were open and tiki bar was open. Beds were extremely comfortable!!! Very good location...it was so nice to get away... weather was great! Wish we could have stayed several weeks!
