1. Manasota Beach

Approx. 8 minutes
Wide, gorgeous, and wonderfully uncrowded. Brilliant for swimming, shelling, dolphin spotting, and those long “I need to clear my head” walks. Plenty of parking and usually not too busy — we love this one.

2. Caspersen Beach

Approx. 10 minutes
Welcome to shark-tooth heaven! This is the spot if you fancy coming home with prehistoric souvenirs. Rugged shoreline, natural beauty, and that wild, untouched Old Florida feel.

️ 3. Venice Beach

Approx. 12 minutes
Classic Venice vibe: soft sand, calm waves, and a lifeguard on duty. Perfect for families, sunbathing, and deciding which ice cream to get afterward.

4. Brohard Beach & Paw Park

Approx. 12–15 minutes
Dog lovers, rejoice! This is one of the only dog-friendly beaches on the Gulf Coast. Your pups can splash, sprint, dig, and flirt with other beach dogs while you soak up the sun.

5. Venice Fishing Pier / Sharky’s Beach

Approx. 15 minutes
Relaxed, beautiful, and great for sunset. Walk the pier for spectacular views, or grab a drink at Sharky’s and pretend you’re in a Corona commercial.

6. Nokomis Beach (Casey Key)

Approx. 18–20 minutes
A stunning, classic Gulf beach with clear water and so much space. Go early, stay late — especially on Wednesday or Saturday evenings for the free drum circle (yes, really).

7. North Jetty Beach

Approx. 20 minutes
Great for watching boats, surfers catching the inlet waves, and pelicans doing their best “Baywatch” impressions. Amazing photo ops.

8. Blind Pass Beach (Middle Beach)

Approx. 20–25 minutes
A quiet, natural stretch between Manasota and Englewood. Lovely for walking, hunting shells, and escaping the crowds.

9. Englewood Beach

Approx. 25–28 minutes
Lively, colorful, and fun. Restaurants, bars, gift shops, umbrellas for rent — perfect if you want a beach day with extra conveniences (and a margarita).

The Casey Key Fish House on Blackburn Point Road in Osprey. The Fish house is great for dining but at the same location there is the Tiki bar, that has lots of music and dancing and overlooks the water! Our favorite spot!!
