Area Information
Sitting pretty between Jupiter and West Palm Beach, Juno Beach is home to unspoiled coastline, blissfully laid-back vibes and some of The Palm Beaches’ most beloved residents (that would be our scores of nesting sea turtles). Located on a barrier island flanked by the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, much of Juno Beach daily life revolves around these two bodies of water—from fishing to recreation to conservation.
The Juno Beach Pier is the main hub of activity in town. On any given day, you’ll see salty fishermen, selfie-snapping sightseers and sunrise aficionados angling for the perfect viewing spot (believe the locals when they say the sunrises here are second to none). There’s even a Pier House with a bait shop, snack bar and pole rentals. With its excellent waves, Juno Beach Park is a popular spot for surfers and kiteboarders as well as swimmers.

Inside Scoop
At the North End of Singer Island is John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, named for John D. MacArthur whose Foundation donated a portion of the land for its construction in the 1970s, is located just north of Singer Island, Florida in North Palm Beach, Florida. The park was first opened to the public in 1989. It covers 348 acres (1.4 km2) on land and underwater, including an Estuary crossed by a 1,600-foot (490 m) boardwalk, and Munyon Island (named after Dr. James Munyon), an offshore wilderness that was home to a lavish hotel, Hygeia Hotel, at the turn of the Twentieth century. The hotel burned to the ground in 1915. Hiking trails and pavilions are open for public use on the island. The island is accessible only by kayak or boat.
The Park features 1.6 miles of beautiful natural beach, a limestone reef walkable from the beach, two self-guiding nature trails and an amphitheater with live music on occasion (ALWAYS UNIQUE AND INTERESTING). One section of the beach was called Air Force Beach from the early 1940s to 1956 because it was used by Palm Beach Air Force Base personnel.

About the host: Originally from the Philadelphia area, Cindy and I have owned this home since 2004, completing extensive renovations our first year. When I got transferred to Maryland in 2007, we started offering the monthly seasonal rentals. Since then, we have completed incremental indoor and outdoor upgrades to improve the guest experience. We really enjoy the Juno Beach community and location in Florida. The water is clean and accessible, the sunsets are beautiful, and the turtles help to keep things interesting . . . not to mention, golf, boating and baseball. We hope you'll visit us, Don.
Why this property? Location, location, location . . . 1.5 blocks from the beach, situated in the quiet middle (East/West) of Jupiter Lane, away from the traffic of A1A and US1, and away from the shadows of large beachfront condos. 1 block from the North end of Pelican Lake and within walking distance of the Captain Charlie's Reef Grill and Kathy's Beach Connection Cafe.

The gem of Juno
I will start off by saying Don and Cindy are incredible hosts. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. This home has incredible location and amenities. We have enjoyed it in January for 2 seasons. It has everything you need. Close to any type of restaurant you could want. Plenty to do in the area.

Outside pool area with grill made for relaxing dinners on the patio after an afternoon on the beach. Would stay here again.
