Norman is THE BEST

Absolutely outstanding guy to rent from!Our group had a major issue with a different property manager we were originally supposed to rent from. We couldn’t get into our room, and we couldn’t get ahold of the manager to resolve the issue. After dealing with all of that through and feeling completely stranded, Norman truly saved our vacation.Before any money ever changed hands, Norman went above and beyond to help us. He reassured us that, worst-case scenario, we could use one of his rooms and that he wasn’t going to let us end up sleeping on a bench. He walked us through the steps we needed to take to get our original situation resolved and helped us tremendously simply out of the kindness of his heart.Once we were finally in his place, it exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, extremely clean, and had updated amenities with so many things provided for guests. He even let us use many of his personal things, including kayaks, fishing poles, paddleboards, and a golf cart to get around the yacht club.There was plenty of space for our group of six plus a baby, and having a full bathroom on each floor made everything incredibly comfortable.On top of all that, Norman was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. He gave us advice on things to do, fishing charters, places to eat, fun places to explore. He genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible.Norman really did save our trip, and our entire group is extremely grateful that we found him. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help us before we were even his guests meant a lot to all of us.If you’re considering staying at one of his properties, I couldn’t recommend him more. An absolutely outstanding host and an even better person!The only thing I could possibly say I didn’t like about the experience was that the beach at the yacht club had quite a bit of smelly seaweed, and the water wasn’t really swimmable while we were there. But honestly, that’s completely out of the property owner’s control and is just part of the natural conditions in Florida, especially with the environmental protections in place. It certainly didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Bit chaotic but overall very nice

Property is very nice, we liked it lots. Resort is laid back & has lots of activities. I haven't done a resort holiday before so it was pleasant surprise to have free access to equipment like kayaks, bikes, tennis racquets and several places to go swimming. The kitchen was well equipped -- important because we prefer cooking our own meals. Overall clean and good beds & well-equipped. Only problem is that we had a security issue and the landlord's agent was unavailable; host himself was very amusing character. I enjoyed this rental a lot & would definitely go back there if Florida was a convenient destination for us.
