Amazing views!

My husband and I stayed for a week at Christmas time and what a gift it was! The house is very charming and designed so that from nearly every room you have a spectacular view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching dophins frolick in the waves and taking long walks along the endless beach. Nearby St Augustine was lots of fun with plenty of nightlife and beautiful Christmas lights! For a beach vacation, this is the total package... Oh, and Samantha is great to work with -- like dealing with a good friend who wants you to enjoy your stay...

Charming House with Amazing View

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the charm of this lovely beachfront property.The owner was available, attentive, and very accommodating. We have been renting properties in this area for many years but this was truly the best view yet. I highly recommend this property... you will not be disappointed

Wonderful House with Caring Owner

My wife and I just completed a 3 month stay in "Almost Heaven" and it could not have been any better. In all of the years (7 straight) for us staying in Vilano, I have to say this is our best yet for our winter get away. Samantha was excellent to work with from start to finish and the beach is actually right at the end of the dune walk over from your deck. Neighborhood is quiet and just far enough away from the public beach access points that allows you to pretty much have the sand to yourself. The house is outfitted with everything you could ever need and want and by far the best wi-fi and TV network we have ever experienced. Appliances were top notch, nice garage to get the car out from the sun and weather. Bedding was so comfortable, master bath was par excellence!!! Samantha has three grills for you on your stay with two electric and one charcoal so many options! The views from the living room and kitchen are unmatched. So for a week get away from it all no matter what time of year this house and owner are all top shelf, she is proud of her home as it shows in her upkeep and cleanliness. Great job and already we have our plans for a return in 2023 !!!

Excellent Experience with Owner and Location

We just finished a 3 month stay in "Almost Heaven" and left with no disappointments in any category. Samantha was great to work with right from the start, she is fair and makes sure the place is ready for your arrival. Her communications were spot on and is quick to answer any questions. The house is just grand! My wife and I have been wintering in Vilano for the last 7 years and recently had to change our venue as a result of the house selling and not renting. Finding and being able to stay in "Almost Heaven" was indeed a blessing. The location is the best we have ever experienced with the beach literally at the end of your stairway down from the deck. Furnishings, kitchen utensils, washer dryer, garage, bed furnishings, dishes, etc were all top shelf. The internet service as well as the TV service was better than anything we experienced in previous times. Plenty of beach chairs and things to make your seaside experience comfortable. Three different grills to enjoy cooking outdoors!!! All of this and the place is spotless with plenty of staples when you arrive. This is also a very relaxing and quiet neighborhood just far enough away from the public beach access points but close enough to walk anywhere like Publix and Vilano Town Center. My Wife and I have our hats tipped to Samantha and will be returning for another 3 month stay in 2023 for sure Thanks Samantha!! Bob/Julie

Location, Location, Location

This location was perfect for not only a great place on the beach but for nearby activities, the city of St. Augustine, and access to groceries and restaurants. The daily sunrise over the ocean was amazing. The rental was very clean and exactly as described. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect beach getaway location

We loved this house that was very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. Perfect location right on the beach. Only minor downfall was you could hear all the traffic on A1A in the bedroom closest to the road. Not horrible. Good location for a heavy sleeper. The master bedroom was delightful with listening to the sounds of the waves all night lulling you to sleep. Our kids loved the instant access to the beach and as a mom I loved the set up that allowed you to keep the sand out of the house coming in from the beach through the garage. Close to the grocery store and 10 minutes from all the attractions in St. Augustine proper. Kids were able to do their online schooling easily so it was a good strong wifi. Owners were easy to work with and kind. A great winter escape from the cold north.

Amazing place!

This is truly a perfect home for a beach get away trip! Waking up every morning and going to sleep with the ocean waves was heaven. This home has everything you need to enjoy the indoors and outdoors. From beach chairs, to beach toys for my girls, to TVs in every room, rest, relaxation and fun was had every day! We loved every minute in this home which gives you direct beach access with your own private boardwalk and a lovely deck area to watch sunrise every morning. We can’t wait to come back!
