This was the perfect place for a quick mother-daughter getaway for the long Memorial Day weekend. The location is ideal, and even with dreary weather we enjoyed the condo so much that only one walk on the beach didn't leave us disappointed. The view is beautiful! The condo was quiet and peaceful and very well appointed. We read and spent time together talking and laughing. It is so welcoming and relaxing - we'll be back!!

Condo has everything you will need for an amazing beach vacation. Comfy beds and all the amenities. Can watch the ocean from your deck or step out onto the beach for an even closer view. Fernandina Beach is a charming old southern town with lots of history, good food and music. Need a city fix? Just a short drive to Jacksonville. Our host was super friendly and full of information. We will definitely visit again

The condo at Captain’s House is just as it’s pictured. It’s a well-appointed and perfectly located property. It takes just a couple of moments to walk to the beautiful beach. The sunrises are gorgeous and can be viewed comfortably from the deck.There home itself has everything you’ll need. The kitchen is fully equipped including several coffee makers, pots and pans, a nice rack of spices, cups, glasses, bowls, plates, silverware, and appliances, including a range/oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There’s also a washer and dryer in the unit.The beds are comfortable, good water pressure in the bathrooms, and televisions throughout the place.The location is terrific. Besides being on the beach, it’s just around the corner from Eagan’s Creek Greenway, Fort Clinch, and a beachfront restaurant, and minutes from downtown Fernandina, grocery stores, and all manner of eateries and amusements.The best thing I can say is that I’d stay there again without hesitation.

We so enjoyed our stay here. Regina is a gracious owner communicating everything you need to make your stay smooth & enjoyable. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable with high end, hotel quality mattress & bedding. The view is gorgeous out the family room, leading out to a covered deck with table & chairs. Being an end unit, the view spans quite far. We even watched dolphins from inside the condo. There were other quests in other units, but it was very quiet & peaceful. It is very centrally located to good restaurants & the historic district. We will definitely be planning to come again.

We loved our stay at the Captain's House! The location was excellent and the unit was equipped with everything we needed for our trip. The closet of beach chairs, umbrella, etc. was a fantastic perk. Regina was super in providing instructions and correspondence, which made our trip a smooth one. We will be back to Amelia and this unit for it was just what we wanted. Thanks!

Perfect location, great back deck with an awesome view, well stocked kitchen, very roomy! Loved having the windows so we could listen to the ocean and enjoy the breeze! Regina is a great host and is very quick to respond to whatever you need, definitely will be back! Only thing I would suggest would be to cover the back porch somehow so you can stay out and enjoy the storms :)

We had a wonderful time here! The location was perfect for us. You cannot get a better view anywhere. The unit was clean and partially updated. There were plenty of cooking utensils and linens. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was quick to respond when I called her because I could not locate the parking pass. I am planning a trip to go back in the fall, and hope to be able to stay here again.

The condo was perfect right on the ocean. You could walk to restaurants from the beach side or the street. The comfort of the condo had everything one would need and was spotless. The view from this condo is breathtaking...just as we had hoped! Although we had a very rainy and chilly week, Regina's condo was warm and welcoming...it was very conducive to cooking wonderful meals, as the kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed the many puzzles and games that were provided. The king-sized master bed was extremely comfortable. We are looking forward to returning to this special place!

We thoroughly enjoyed or stay in this condo for five nights in July. Unit has absolutely everything you will need and the location and view are truly incredible. Beds were so comfortable, everything was clean and rental process and communication were terrific. Balcony is very comfortable for morning coffee or evening cocktails but not protected from rain, which was only suggestion for improvement. The Beach Area the Condo sits on is a dream and we loved being able to walk to The Sand Bar Restaurant for meals and live music. Everyone Loved Amelia Island and we will absolutely return to Regina’s condo!

This condo was perfect! Located on a quiet beach, beautiful views and equipped with everything you need for a fun, relaxing vacation. Very clean and comfortable beds. The condo also has all the beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys that you’ll ever need. Regina was also very easy to work with and communicated all the necessary info in a timely manner. Can’t wait to go back!

The layout of the condo was perfect. Living quarters were grouped together and sleeping areas in other half. Located right on the ocean was wonderful. Just walk out the sliding door and you have the ocean right there always in view from three rooms and the wonderful sunny deck. The condo was well furnished with anything that was needed. Carpeting in the living room only is a plus. Location was very much to our liking. Whether heading north or south your destination wasn't that far away. Amelia Island has a lot to offer. Parking was close to our condo door. One problem - our time passed too quickly. But that's what happens when you are having fun.

Great location - the beach is right out the back door, and is basically a private beach! Condo was clean and well equipped with everything you need for your trip. We stayed there with a 1 and 3-year-old and were pleased with how family friendly the condo and beach location was. Regina was very responsive and made the booking process very easy. Overall, everything was wonderful!
