Lovely Venice Pool home! 10 min to beach!

Great little vacation home

We had a wonderful time in this home! It’s close to our favorite beaches and all the things Venice has to offer. The pool isn’t large but was plenty big enough for our needs and my girls loved the unique shape. Diane was easy to communicate with and very responsive to messages. Overall, would highly recommend this home if you’re traveling to Venice!

Cozy, Convenient, Clean, Complete

We stayed the month of March and could not have been happier. The house is exactly as shown, very clean, and comfortable. The screened pool area is private and offers sun and shade depending on your desire. If you want full sun, the privacy fenced yard offers space to bring your chair outside the pool area. The house is close to a nature reserve and bike path that we utilized for a beautiful walk daily. It is convenient to get to various beaches, shopping, and dining. Historic downtown Venice is gorgeous and has several wonderful restaurants. Everything our host recommended tuned out to be our favorites! The house had everything we needed and we had no issues. One of our best vacations to date!

This house was perfect! It was on a nice street that wasn't too busy but close to all our favorite attractions. Even the neighbors were friendly and one gave us a new restaurant to try and we did and she was right, it was great. (Pineapple Tequila) This house was clean, nicely decorated and adequately stocked. The pool guy came during our visit and added chemicals so we knew it was well cared for. Speaking of the pool, it was VERY little. That is the only part that was slightly disappointing. It served its purpose and kept us cool and wet and the littles enjoyed playing in it but not big enough to put out rafts and just float around and definitely not big enough to swim laps. But other than that I loved this place!! Plus the bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable we have ever slept on!!! We rate this a 5 out of 5!!!

Great Location

Great house in a brilliant location on a quiet road but with access to beaches, dining, & shopping. Very comfortable, clean & tidy accommodation which was ideal for two but would be suitable for more. Loved our stay & will hopefully return

Great spot!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home. It was clean and well kept, and the owner was very responsive. The beaches are a short distance away, and it's also convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. My kids loved the pool. We would definitely book this house again!

December thru February stay

I enjoyed staying in this home for three months! It is decorated very nicely; & has great furniture! The kitchen has great appliances & is well stocked.Everyone that came, commented on the lanai with the pool & furniture. “We would spend all our time out here”. One reason I rented here was access to the private beach! I am renting again next year!!

Paradise in venice

Great place , great location. Spotless , modern ,well looked after ,will return. Pool area was spotless . Would not hesitate to stay there again. Proprietor was extremely helpful and efficient.

Adorable South Venice pool home in a great location!

Great convenient location for quick in and out. Nice house, perfect size. Clean, very well decorated, nice soothing beachy colors. Loved the light blue leather couch! It was great having a useable garage to keep our black suv cool in the summer heat. The outside shell ground covering was an awesome idea! We are used to drab decorative rock/gravel in the Midwest. Nice lanai, super cute and unique pool, but on the smaller size for swimming or family time. Pool needed some attention. The house has just about everything available that you would need. Kitchen was fully stocked and has two types of coffee makers:) We did buy a pizza cutter for future guests. It was nice having starter soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergents. All the appliances are new, and all are fantastic, except for the washing machine- even though it was a new Whirlpool it was a big pain and time consumer for us having lots of towels and swimwear to wash during the stay. It’s the type that barely uses any water, resulting in clothes and towels not getting thoroughly wet and clean, and having to babysit the loads to add in fabric softener at the right time due to no dispenser (my mom acc bought one too). The beds were very comfy, especially the master! House had all the beach gear you should need- beach towels, beach bag, coolers, ice packs, chairs, umbrella and sharks tooth scoopers. Had two bicycles. Came with a South Venice ferry pass, which is an absolute must visit- for the best sharks tooth hunting, a clean peaceful beach and for gorgeous sunsets. The ferry boat rides and captains were great. Pool guys never came to vacuum or clean pool the entire week we were there. He only came once on our arrival day for our call due to a pool water issue. The owner and property manager were very nice and were generally fast with responding to questions/concerns. Future suggestions: TV in 3rd room could use cable- not just DVD player, could use a TV in the other bedrooms, and it would be fun to have one out on the lanai for the evenings too? Maybe look at the hvac? Took a long time from when we arrived for the house to cool down from 80 to 74 (2 days). Pool company weekly vacuuming and cleaning. Having an outside hose or rinse area for sandy feet, shoes, gear would be wonderful. Oh I can’t forget how we loved listening to the local rooster in the mornings while drinking coffee:) We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! A week wasn’t long enough!

Beautiful house

Perfect house for your Venice vacation! From the moment when we walked in the door everything was as pictured and clean. The beds were comfy, especially the master was asleep In minutes. Felt very comfortable and at home, loved all the linens being included, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and coolers too! Have already referred others and will be back myself! Enjoyable 2 weeks in South Venice!

The house was perfect for my 2 week stay. Everything you need is there including beach chairs, coolers and a big beach bag. A 5 minute drive from all the attractions and comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. Then only thing that w a little disappointing was the pool. It is solar heated which actually means not heated at all. It was to cold to swim in because the temperature dropped into the 50's every night. That is the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars. Other then that our stay was very enjoyable.

Perfect getaway

We’ve travelled a lot in SW Florida for over 30 years and stayed in a lot of rentals, and this one is the best by far. You have free access to a mostly private, unspoiled beach, lots of close opportunities to golf and some pretty fine dining in Venice proper, which is a 10 minute ride. Venice is a nice little town with cute stores and many good eating options. The house itself is really calming and comfortable. We love it here!

Perfect escape

This home was absolutely perfect for our group of 5. Very clean and every detail was tended to. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The lanai was very relaxing and also had a dining table (plus the one inside the house). Had a good, postive vibe the minute we walked in. We will definitely return to this property.
