Huge Paver deck with BBQ and table. "SheShed" with washer & dryer, Bicycles & helmets, beach chairs, umbrella & rolling cooler!

Unique Benefits
Charlotte House has everything you could want in a vacation home, fully stocked to anticipate all your needs. Location could not be much better, you can walk to everything down town and along Charlotte Harbor waterfront located just 3 blocks north. We have 2 bicycles for guest usage with helmets and locks, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and coolers. We have fishing poles upon request (you must get a fishing license)
Punta Gorda is a charming small town located on Charlotte harbor at the mouth of the Peace River. Which is known as a sea life nursery. Home to manatees, dolphin & rays.
So many great activities, boating, fishing, sunsets galore! Fisherman’s Village full of shops and restaurants also has a marina with slip rentals, boat rentals, fishing and sunset cruises. Laishley Marina just 3 blocks away has a boat launch as well as marina slips available for rent. Our city provides free bicycle use (although I have 2 bicycles on site), great walks along the harbor. Air boat rides a short drive up the Peace River at the Nav-a-gator.
Charlotte House is located within walking distance of all the historic downtown restaurants/bars and Charlotte Harbor Walk.
No fighting traffic, you are walking distance to everything in Historic Punta Gorda, many restaurants & shops. Charlotte Harbor is 3 blocks, with a beautiful walking path all the way to Fisherman's Village or take the bridge over to Port Charlotte, watching out for dolphin, sting ray's and manatee's. I walk a loop of both bridges most mornings and it is always such fun to see all the sea life.
Best Pizza & salads by far only a block walk away at the Dough Bar located right next to Gators Downtown & The Breakfast House. For seafood & view of the harbor, Laishley Crab House (3 blocks) is fantastic ~ and if you like fish & chips you have 2 choices within 2 blocks of Charlotte House ~ Ice House (stones throw) and Celtic Ray a true Irish Pub! If you want a great breakfast with wonderful family owned restaurant the Family Grill on US 41 is our favorite "locals" spot! Burgr Bar has great breakfast & very affordable. Try the stuffed french toast or the coconut stuffed french toast (my favorite), its heavenly!
If you like to fish the Tiki Hut has 12 fish lights around the corner and it certainly draw's in the big fish when the tide is high ~ they are on dusk to dawn. A reminder if you do fish you need to have a fishing license.

this home was located very walkable to most everything needed in the town. It was cozy and had everything in the home that one would want. We were able to cook several meals, but great restaurants were nearby. A cute cottage and felt bigger than the 750 sq feet. There is a nice backyard and a washer and dryer available too. a home away from home

I loved my stay at Charlotte House. From the moment I opened the door , I saw this was the perfect place for me ! It is very welcoming and charming , full of light and peacefulness. The house is decorated beautifully throughout . It is super clean with many amenities to make your stay great . I stayed 10 days and started immediately planning my next trip to Charlotte House . It’s that perfect . I enjoyed coffee on the patio and the beautiful Florida flowers each morning . I was able to enjoy every minute of my vacation in a very comfortable beautiful rental. The owner makes great use of every inch of the house. It feels much bigger than I expected . The location was perfect for me . I liked the neighborhood and the general location too. I was able to relax and walk to local restaurants and other days take short drives to the the parks and other attractions . I saw manatees and dolphins in Boca Grande, went every day to Ponce Park and watched the sunset, visited relatives in Cape Coral there is so much to do !! I highly highly recommend Charlotte House . I wish I lived there !

Freshly made homemade cookies were left on the table by the owner. Also, names, direction with walking or driving times was most help. The area offers many restaurants and small shops within walking distance. It was just what we were looking for, a lovely bungalow away from hustle and bustle yet not isolated. We loved it!

Charlotte House is in a perfect location, a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to so many Punta Gorda attractions! We enjoyed many wonderful restaurants and sunsets on the Charlotte Harbor. Charlotte House had everything we needed for our stay. From comfortable beds to a secluded patio it has it all. We took full advantage of the bicycles and beach chairs for visits to Ponce de Leon park and other nearby beaches. The house itself is beautifully decorated with all the amenities. We were fortunate to have many conversations with wonderful neighbors Joe and Kathy. They have created beautiful gardens behind Charlotte House and were more than willing to share ideas on what to see and do in the area. We will definitely miss them. We highly recommend Charlotte House. Lyn the host is wonderful and has created a beautiful and comfortable home.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. Everything was nice and clean and well stocked beyond our expectations. What a joy it was to be able to cook if we wanted. Most dinners were spent exploring the awesome restaurants in Punta Gorda. Being able to do our laundry was wonderful. The refrigerator even had an icemaker so we were able to fill our cooler with ice on the days we chose to go to the beach, The beach chairs were well used also. You are the hostess with the mostest. Thank you so much. I hope we can work there again.

Punta Gorda, is a beautiful town by Charlotte Harbor. Every evening we would take our little dog Bella for a walk along Harbor Walk and watch the spectacular sunsets. We visited Boca Grande beach and many different restaurants. A trip to Fishermen Village is a must. The house is cozy and everything you need is there, We had a marvelous time. We can't wait to go back.

Charlotte house is located only a few blocks from downtown the location is perfect. Lyn provided all the things we needed and then some. Response was quick to any questions or concerns. This rental cottage had everything that we needed to have a very enjoyable and relaxing time away from the cold north. We enjoyed bike rides and strolls through the neighborhoods. Fisherman's Village was so close by and great fun to visit. The flea market downtown was another attraction that we had fun attending. Ponce de Leon park was a great place to just sit on a bench and watch the boats come and go to the harbor. Would love the come back to this lovely house!!!

Our stay at The Charlotte House was everything we expected and more! We opted to not rent a car to force ourselves to not feel obligated to use it. The Charlotte House was close to everything. A short Uber ride to and from the airport and we utilized the bikes that were provided for the rest of our transportation needs. The house was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. We were even surprised with Christmas cookies upon arrival. Lynn was available and open to suggestions, even when we locked ourselves out of the house. A true gym and one we hope to return to!
