First, communicating with the owner was just great. She was easy to reach, extremely responsive and gave complete and accurate information. The condo is first floor which is so wonderful. A short walk through manicured grass and you’re at the beach and the pool. No going through the lobby. And the condo itself is first rate. Very nice updates with all the little things to make the stay easy and comfortable. TV’s all around, modern appliances, great master suite and comfort all around. You’ll hear and see the waves roll in while sitting on the patio. If you want on the ocean, first floor and hassle-free, book this condo.

Great condo clean well furnished beautiful view.

Master shower has a step up and it would really benefit putting a grab bar at the shower entrance to prevent a fall.

Fabulous!

This was our first time ever staying on the ground floor. I must admit I was a little reluctant because I felt that a ground floor would limit our views. I was wrong, the views are spectacular! All the keyed entries on gates and doorways give you security. When we were not on the beach, my granddaughter loved playing in the grassy area just outside the door with all the toys provided. Because of the enormous glass doors, I could watch her from inside as she played outdoors. The huge hot tub on the ground floor kept her entertained as well. We were in town for the Turkey Rod Run but upon arrival, I was perfectly content just staying in as the guys went on their treasure hunt. This home had everything we needed. Plenty of kitchen items, pots & pans, Keurig, washer/dryer (which saved me a lot of time when we got home as I was able to do laundry before leaving) lots of extra towels, linens and blankets.The home is very spacious and comfortably accommodated 4 adults and a 4-year-old without feeling crowded. The very short walk to Crabby Joe’s for lunch was a nice treat. The home is located just minutes from all the area attractions but far enough away from all the noise. Mrs. Hunt was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating and Gloria was very helpful getting us into the home and explaining all the locks. The queen bed took some adjusting since we typically sleep in a king with a wiggly toddler, but we managed to figure it out. My only complaint was that we didn’t book long enough and none of us wanted to leave. We can’t wait to get back and look forward to next year’s visit.Thank you, Mrs. Hunt and family, for sharing your home with us!

Beach rental

The condo was perfect and on the first floor with ocean view. We felt very safe with security measures in place. Working with owners was very pleasant and easy. Having Carlos to show us around and explain everything when we checked in was great. Thank you for a great mini vacay.

The Ashley is always Amazing!

Cherlynn (owner) and Tracee (property agent) are truly Amazing! This condo has been perfect for our family every time we stay! Decent price, close to everything we like, always clean! We never want to come home! This place is like home to us, everything you need is right there when you need it!!

Great Beachfront Unit

Wonderful vacation stay. The first floor easy access to the beach was really nice. The covered patio was a great place to sip on a morning cup of coffee while enjoying the ocean breezes and beach activities. All the provided beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and even a pop-up canopy were a welcome amenity. Everything you could need was provided in the kitchen. The unit was very roomy – plenty of room for the five of us and was clean and updated. The master bedroom and bath were deluxe. Plenty of closet room. The clubhouse on the 21st floor had amazing views of the ocean, beach, and even the inter-coastal waterway and was great place to spend time especially if a sunny day was interrupted by a storm. The provided puzzles, cards, books and DVD’s in the side room were a nice touch. The beach was wonderful – no seaweed or other trash and the ocean waters were clear as well. The limited amount of vehicles driving or parked on the beach in front of the complex was not a problem. It was nice that that was a lifeguard station not far down the beach. The kids loved the large outdoor pool and the indoor hot tub. Great security features on the building and the underground parking made us feel completely safe. Plenty of good restaurants within short driving distance. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and relaxing!

We really loved this unit at The Ashley. We have never stayed on the first floor and feared our view wouldn't be as good as views from higher up. We were wonderfully surprised by the beautiful view from the unit's balcony! It also made coming and going easy since we didn't have to wait on and ride the elevators. The unit was very clean, very well maintained, and was perfectly stocked with anything we needed such as kitchen/cooking supplies, bathroom towels/washcloths, and even had beach chairs and boogie boards available to use. The Ashley building itself is also beautiful and has been maintained very well. The pool area is perfect as it is shaded from 2pm which gives it a nice, cool, and comfortable setting. We definitely plan to return next year!

Best place in Daytona

We love The Ashley! No place I would rather be ! We stayed here in early 2003 and it is still beautiful!

Fantastic!

Upon entry, I immediately felt at home. Beautifully decorated. So many extras available. Ocean view from the open floor plan, was wonderful while cooking breakfast or having coffee in the dining room. The beds were very comfortable. The large soaker tub/shower was very welcoming after a long ride. Beach access was very pleasing. Many stores within a short driving distance. Extremely satisfied with our stay, wish it could have been longer.
