I have been coming to The cape for a quite a few years now.. Avalon was absolutely beautiful. There was so much space.It was very clean. We could sit out on any deck at night to watch the sunset . I had talked a couple of times over the telephone with Then personally.. So polite, so courteous.They answered every question helped us through any hurdle that we had.. I definitely will be renting again from them

Avalon

Teresa’s Beachhouses is the best company to rent from. They are super friendly and easy to deal with. We have been using them for our beach vacations for over 10 years. We have stayed at multiple houses and they are always clean and well furnished.

Family Vacation Avalon

Had a great time with two families at Avalon. The kitchen had all the right, new utensils and tools for cooking as well as Tupperware. House was very clean, in good shape and the beds were comfortable. Great views of the ocean and sunset from 3 balconies. Extremely short walk to beach and great pool. Terri and Teresa were wonderful to work with. Our third time booking with them!

Another Great Stay at Avalon

This was our 5th stay at Avalon and definitely won’t be our last. The location is perfect! We love the private pool and the elevator is great for my parents. Teresa and Terri make booking easy and are always very responsive. We’ll be back next year!

Avalon cape San blas

The home is well keeper and spacious. Pool was excellent and only a short boardwalk to the beach. It fits my family needs perfectly and price wise is very good.

Wonderful stay!

Avalon had absolutely everything we needed for 2 adults and 5 teens! There was space for us all to spread out, multiple decks with incredible unobstructed views, convince to the trading post, skully’s shrimp boil, and other restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed as well as the beach closet (containing chairs, floats, a grill, ect). The walk to the beach was easy and only 100 steps away. I can’t say enough positives about my experience with Teresa’s Beach homes. We have stayed in multiple properties through them and will continue to come back; they are a wonderful family owned business and incredibly responsive to all needs.

Wonderful week at the Avalon

We stayed a week at the Avalon March 2023. The home was perfect for 3 couples. Kitchen was well equipped. Great views from every level. Beach is a short distance on a boardwalk. Enjoyed the private/heated pool. This is our third time renting from Teresa and we have enjoyed each home. Highly recommended her rentals.

Relaxing and Perfect Vacation HomeWe absolutely love the Cape. This was our 4th trip and by far the best. Avalon met ALL of our needs! The home was better equipped than any home we’ve stayed in on the northern part of the Cape. The pool was so much fun for my grandkids and the rest of our family. The boardwalk that connected to the driveway made the walk to the beach a breeze...about 175 feet.Teresa”s Beach Homes puts so much thought into making a vacation relaxing! The views from the decks are breathtaking even though this year was the first time we didn’t see a sunset due to clouds. A rainy day at the Cape is still a happy day! We have already booked for 2023 and plan to continue to book this home since it is clean, quiet and well equipped. This house deserves much more than 5 stars!

Great beach home. Everything you could ask for.

Our 5th trip to the cape, second stay with Teresa's Beach Homes. Could not have asked for anything more. By far the nicest place we have stayed. Loved the view and short walk to the beach. Plan to stay here again next summer. Wonderful people to work with.

Oak Rest Barn was Awesome!!!

This was the best house hands down!!!! The house came well equipped!! We did not eat out the whole time we were there. Thank you all for sharing this house and letting us have the experience of staying here. The pool was great and the elevator was amazing to have. The only problem was we couldn't stay longer!!

Much Needed Vacation

We waited out Covid and had to delay our beach trip for a year. Thanks to Teresa’s they made it so easy for us. We kept our same week we had scheduled in 2020 with no extra fees. We loved the house and especially the pool. The gulf was rough the week we were there so the pool was a lifesaver! The house had everything that we needed. We made great memories and will always return to Cape San Blas.

Avalon

This is our third stay with Teresa’s Beach Homes, second time in Avalon. Avalon is a beautiful 4 story home with a private pool and gorgeous views of the ocean. It had everything we needed and then some. Our two pups enjoyed the beach and the elevator was very helpful since one of our babies has arthritis really bad and stairs are difficult for her. Teresas Beach Homes care about their homes and the Cape and everything was immaculate. I wish we could come and stay in one of their homes every year. Our week was very relaxing and it was pure bliss to walk our dogs on the beach every evening.

Stunning & Peaceful

I brought my elderly mom and my sister along with my 2 year old Bichon Frisée. I had not been on a vacation in 5 years nor had I been to Cape San Blas. The home (Avalon) was more than I’d expected. Everything you need on top of lovely views . 7 days of gorgeous weather, views and evening walks on the beach was just what I needed . You won’t be disappointed if you stay at the Avalon. Close to a nice small grocery store and fresh seafood. I’ll definitely come back in the near future . I’ve been home 2 days and miss my morning walks on the stunning beach . My neighbors will be staying at the Avalon in December after my telling them about how wonderful it is . Oh they’ve invited me to go along

Wonderful pet-friendly beach home with private pool and beautiful beach views.

Avalon was originally beach-front and was built at an angle to face directly into the setting sun. A couple of houses of houses have been built in front of her in the last 10 years, but the angle still allows for spectacular beach/gulf views. Officially listed as a 4-bedroom, there's a 5th room on the second floor with a trundle bed that sleeps 2. With amenities such as an outside heated shower, fully stocked kitchen, boardwalk to the beach, private pool and elevator this really is a great beach rental. Avalon sustained some damage during Hurricane Michael, but all that has been repaired and the beaches were debris-free. Finally, we've rented at least 5 houses on Cape San Blas and Avalon is, without question, our favorite.

PERFECT! SEE YOU IN 2020

I just wanted to start by saying thank you. We have been an every year visitor to Mexico Beach. Needless to say, our normal vacation home was destroyed by Hurricane Michael in 2018. We were worried that we were not going to find another home that would come close to what we were used to. We have fur children that mean as much to us as our real children. We just knew we would not be able to find a home that would suit our needs and our wants. Boy were we wrong! I'm so glad we got in contact with Theresa's Beach Homes. Terri made us feel like family, and assured us that we would not regret coming out to the Cape. I truly believe that this was thy best family vacation we have ever had on the "forgotten coast". The Avalon by far exceeds every expectation that we had going into a new vacation home. I cannot thank you and your family for everything you supplied for us. My family didn't want for anything. The people who operates business's on the Cape treated us like we were locals and old friends. You have a new customer for life, we will be contacting you in the next month or so to book this again. Awesome stay!

Perfect house for the perfect trip! We had a great stay at the Avalon. Great views, easy walk to beach (closer than pics appear) and loved the pool! Comfortable beds & furniture. Having the elevator was an amazing bonus especially getting luggage up the stairs. Management company was beyond helpful & attentive for any question we had. Would definitely use them again & intend to rent this property again!!

Avalon on the Cape

Loved Avalon , really nice house with a elevator , and beautiful swimming pool , nicely furnished, and beautifully decorated , with everything you should possibly need , lovely furnished decks with high chairs to watch the waves roll in , We also enjoyed Good Fishing there . Absolutely perfect set up! Loved it!

This was our family's first trip to CSB and we chose the area so that we could bring our dogs with us on vacation. We rented the Avalon house and it was just a perfect spot. It's a beautiful house and has everything you would need. We enjoyed purchasing fresh seafood from St. Joe's Shrimp Co. a few nights and grilled dinner at home; the kitchen was very well stocked for putting a good meal together. The beds in the house are very comfortable and the house was very clean and nicely decorated. My favorite part of this trip was the amazing sunsets that we would enjoy from our deck (great Adirondack chairs also!). The walk to the beach is so easy and the pool is a great spot. We just truly enjoyed staying here and exploring the Cape. They are working hard to rebuild after the hurricane and good progress is being made. We had plenty to do and enough conveniences close by (the Trading Post has groceries and everything you need -- even fresh cut meat--- we got INCREDIBLE filet mignons from them!) I would recommend this house and area-- -they are grateful for tourists and the support you give them by vacationing there. You won't be sorry! We will be back for sure.

Perfect beach vacation..

This was our third stay at the Avalon at Cape San Blas, it never disappoints. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, warm pool in early spring, and very clean upon our arrival. We love the short walk to the beach and watching the sun sets from the deck. Our favorite eating places Skully’s and seafood market, were better than ever! We love going to the Cape!

Avalon - After the storm - A wonderful stay.

I was moved to this property instead of my original rental after the storm and circumstances created changes. It was wonderful. The elevator made moving in and out so much easier and since I have to carry my 20 lb. dog up/down stairs, it was easier on my back and knees for sure! It has a dream kitchen area with everything you could possibly need. The owners have thought about everything (except a coffee grinder, but I brought my own). The living room/dining room are spacious, accommodating and comfortable for . There are decks on each level which face the beach and you can hear the waves against the shore when you fall to sleep at night. The place required some repairs from the storm damage while I was there, but workers were considerate and no problems. All of the bedrooms are well furnished and spacious. Having televisions (6) in every room allows guests privacy and personal space. Teri was very helpful and answered all my questions. Thanks for the great vacation out of the polar vortex for 6 weeks!

Wonderful family vacation

We returned to the Cape San Blas area after vacationing on St. George Island for the last few years and it surely didn’t disappoint! It was such a nice home with everything we needed, including a fabulous pool which we gave a workout!!! It was so peaceful and the beach area so close and convenient we didn’t leave the house much. Excellent fresh seafood markets were nearby, ice cream shops, groceries, liquor stores...everything we needed. We will definitely make this our vacation spot from now on. Teresa and her staff are the best!!!

Avalon House is a beautiful, wonderfully maintained home located in gorgeous location of Cape San Blas that has everything you could need/want. The private pool was an especially nice/appreciated treat. They even had an incredible about of beach chairs and toys in the storage room! We enjoyed an incredible vacation here. Can’t beat the dog friendly beach and community! Out dog was able to go with us to the outdoor decks of local restaurants and he LOVED the beach. Easily 5 star rating here. We WILL be back.

Beautiful, relaxing Cape San Blas and Avalon

Our family stayed at Avalon during scalloping season 2018 (early September in this case) and had a fabulous time. The weather was beautiful and the water still very warm this time of year. Avalon is a beautiful home, with a boardwalk leading directly to the beach and a small private pool that was perfect for our young granddaughters. This was our second stay at Avalon and the house was as beautiful as we remembered. There has been some construction since our last visit that has obstructed some of the beach view, but we could still see dolphins feeding in the Gulf from the main balcony. The home is nicely furnished and well-equipped with large balconies and an elevator (very important when unloading all the groceries and other things you’ll need for a stay on the Cape). Tip: Try to bring as much as you can for your visit because it’s an hour round-trip to the nearest “big” grocery store in Port St. Joe…time you don’t want to lose. The Cape Trading Post and Scallop Cove convenience stores on the Cape do a pretty good job of stock the essentials, which will also help save you some time. Avalon and Cape San Blas are dog-friendly which means the whole family can come and enjoy a CSB vacation. We have stayed in many of Teresa's other homes over the last 9 years and will continue to do so. We can’t get enough of the Cape and morning coffee and beautiful sunsets on the balcony are what we dream of when we are not there. Thank you Teresa for sharing your beautiful homes.

Perfect for our family!

This house was perfect for our family. We are a family of 8 adults, 2 small children, and 2 small dogs. This place was very accommodating for all of us. My in-laws (who are in their 80's) were with us and my Mother-In-Law just had her third ankle surgery a few months ago. With the elevator she was able to go wherever she wanted to go, even the pool had steps that were easy for her to get in and out. She enjoyed doing her therapy in the pool and loved being able to get in with ease. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a crock pot and an electric skillet. The kitchen size was perfect for all of us girls to get in there and prepare the food without bumping into each other. Lots of storage space, counter space, and a nice pantry to store our food in. And believe me, with all of us, we had lots of food. Haha Loved the grill too, we grilled several nights while there. The view from the deck is amazing! My in-laws especially enjoyed sitting and looking at the view. The house had so many little things to help make the most our of our vacation. And it was a vacation to remember and we can't wait to go back next year. Honestly I'm hesitant to leave such a honest raving review because I don't want it to be reserved when we're trying to go back. Haha But you won't be disappointed staying here. It's perfect!
