Guestbook comments from the owner:
From the initial communication, William was incredibly prompt and proper in all of his responses. He gave us all of the information we needed and was very accommodating in making sure everything was in place from the beginning.
He was there when we arrived to show us everything in the apartment and the building and had plenty of info about places nearby.
The apartment was lovely, decorated as a home rather than as a holiday rental. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Everything was also provided in terms of kitchen and bathroom items.
Would definitely recommend this apartment, especially for families. We would definitely consider staying there again if we visit Miami in the future,
Bill is a very easy owner to get along with. The apartment is on the 6th floor and overlooks the beach with a great view
The unit is ideal for a family with two kids as the second bedroom Has a double/single bunk bed in it
Two full bathrooms, the one is en suite to the very spacious master bedroom
The living/dining/kitchen is open plan with lots of room. Kitchen well equipped. Furnishings are in good condition
Unit has coolers and beach chairs and stuff for the kids to use on the beach. Lots of loungers on the beach for apartment residents.
The complex has a large heated outdoor pool with lots of loungers. Well equipped gym as well. Valet parking worked very well during the month we stayed
There are a number of restaurants in the area that are hidden in the buildings as advertising is not allowed. One local one is a great bistro with very reasonable prices. Buses up and down Collins are very frequent. We often left our rental car in the parking if we went out to South Beach or for cocktails to North Beach. Lots to do in the area
We are planning on returning next year
We spent almost 3 weeks at Bill and Diana's apartment at The Pavilion in Miami Beach. It could not have been better. The apartment is facing the ocean, it is comfortable with a Bahamian style decoration, very nice living room opening to a nice balcony where we had drinks at night. There is one large and comfortable master bedroom. The second bedroom is smaller with bunk beds, but it is very convenient with the second bathroom. Bill was waiting for us at arrival, despite our late arrival and showed us the unit.
We later asked him different things and he was very responsive, had a new hair dryer delivered immediatelly as the one in the unit was not working properly. The valet parking is convenient if you call before going downstairs, you just get your car in a minute. We can't wait to go back and rent this apartment again.
It was much better than I had expected. I had just moved to Miami from NYC for work & needed a short term for a month until I find a more permanent place. The problem was that it was so nice that I did not want to go to work.
Reviewed March 23, 2016 for a stay in January and February 2016
Had wonderful 2 months in this condo. A few minor hicups, but Bill was always wonderful and responding quickly. Comfortable king bed in Master. Loved the balcony and watching the cruise ships come in and out of port. Everything you need was here. Beach beautiful. Walking excellent. Thank you once again for sharing your condo with us!
Sad in Michigan
We stayed a family of 3 at this beautiful condo on the beach. The views are spectacular and it's a few min walk from the front door to the beach. You can't get any closer than this! The condo is spacious and contains everything you need for your stay from beach towels and chairs to all linens and kitchen items. It's centrally located and we love it so much we're coming back next year!
I lived in the condo for almost 3 month. It is just great. Most of all, I enjoy the balcony and the view. It is just great to start the day with a coffee watching the dawn. William is a nice guy, easy to deal with. If I will get the chance to work for my company in Miami again, I would love to come back.
My husband and I spent one month at this condo. The photos do not do the place justice. The view is absolutely terrific. We watched the cruise ships almost every day heading out for their destinations. Every morning we had our morning coffee on the balcony. If you are up early enough, you can watch the sunrise - just beautiful.
The beds were quite comfortable and there was plenty of storage. There are also beach chairs (which you need if you do not get to the beach early enough to grab a lounge chair) which are very comfortable and beach towels (which are the softest towels I have ever encountered).
William (the owner) is tremendous. He was so friendly and helpful with everything and could not do enough for us. He answered all our questions immediately and gave us a list of instructions which, once you read them, will simplify your first few hours/days at the condo.
The condo is located in a very safe area. Shopping is not too far away (but you will need a car or Uber).
We miss you (and your condo) already!
Your friends from Saskatchewan, Canada.
Beautiful, fully equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo directly on the beach in a safe, quiet area (5600 block of Collins Avenue ).
Clean, spacious and a great owner to rent from. Proprietor takes great care of his property and is very responsive to tenants needs. Easy to work with and 100% reliable.
We rented unit 611 at the Pavilion from William and our entire experience was perfect in every aspect. William was organized and efficient while being pleasant and very accommodating in answering our questions. Stepping into his condo is like having a spacious luxury suite on the finest cruise ship imaginable. The decor is comfortable and tasteful, and the spectular onceanfront view is beautiful beyond words. I now know why poets have so struggled to describe the ocean! The ocean here is Caribbean blue, full of sailboats, cruise ships, swimmers, and kiteborders, seabirds, sunlight and moonlight. It feels as if there is no reason to go any further than the spacious balcony to find paradise. We were certainly happy with the Pavilion's location on Collins Avenue and the ammenities of the resort atmosphere which was never crowded, very safe and secure, with the ever changing ocean always within view.
We're an italian family of 4 people, very familiar with Miami Beach. We met William, the owner, on this site. He's a very fair gentleman, everything has been perfect with him. His property has a great location, close to the ocean, and everything works inside. The apartment is very suitable for those who want to comfortably enjoy the ocean and the beach. To tell the truth, the Pavilion has everything that is needed while on vacation. The beach in front of it is great!
We reccomend this property and its owner!

"An excellent beach front condo"
My wife and I had the opportunity to spend the month of April in this 6th floor condo and we couldn't have been more pleased. The unit and its furnishings were excellent. Access to the beach was convenient, many restaurants were within walking distance and the entire staff were pleasant and helpful. Security was excellent. That being said, nothing beats the view from the balcony each morning watching the sun come up over the ocean. The eastern orientation is ideal for those who love the morning sun but prefer to have a cool shaded balcony during the late afternoon heat. The condo owner is an upstanding business man and a pleasure to deal with. We are looking forward to returning next year.PS forgot to mention the great beach and boardwalk.

Gary, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back next year.
Beautifully furnished condo with a magnificent view of the ocean
The condo is located on Collins Avenue in a beautiful well maintained older building that was constructed in the early 1970s. The unit has been renovated by the Lessor and is elegant with paintings and artifacts of a tropical nature adorning the walls throughout the unit. It overlooks the ocean and an accessible sandy beach with walkways and bicycle t4rails going on for miles. I sit on the outside balcony during the evening watching the sun set and kite surfers doing acrobatics. The condo has a magnificent outside pool and seating area as well as a beautiful fully equipped fitness centre. The unit is comfortable for up to four people and has two complete bathrooms. one with a standup shower and the other with a bathtub shower. The property is isolated on Collins Avenue as are all the other condo buildings nearby. One definitely needs a vehicle to access the entertainment and restaurant areas. One has to be mobile to enjoy what Miami has to offer. The only fault that I had with the unit is the heating. Being an older building, the cooling and heating systems are building controlled not individually per unit. I am older, 80 years of age and found the unit, especially in the evening too cool for my taste, so putting on a sweater or jacket was necessary for me. Old people are always too cold. The staff who maintain the security, maintenance and parking are wonderful and extremely out to please. I love having valet parking which is included in the rental price. Out of courtesy, I always tip a couple of bucks when they get my car for me.The area is mainly Hispanic with nationalities from Argentina, Cuba, Honduras, Venezuela, Columbia, et al, and are very friendly. Something I discovered is that a high proportion of the owners are Orthodox Jews who are very pleasant and sort of keep to their own community. There is even a synagogue on the Mezzanine floor.I had a very pleasant stay for four months over the winter season.

Thank you, Stan. We're sorry you found the apartment cold on some evenings as the apartment has its own heating/cooling thermostat which you can control at will. No need to be too cold. It's all adjustable. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed having you as our tenant.
First is all the apartment is in great shape. A lot of at work adorns the walls and the flies theme permeated the experience. Even the pitch work a lamp was noticed. The spot is great. There is no beach access for a few blocks of the property which makes it nice and peaceful without a lot of rowdiness. The beach chairs are available the entire day (maybe just on Sundays you need to go a bit earlier) and no one pushes you out. Just not having to carry chairs is a major plus. The living room and begins with 2 bathrooms tally are well designed and you don't feel cramped. Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back again! Great spot...

Thank you. I am glad you are both enjoying your stay and the beach decor of the apartment. It was done with a lot of love.
My husband and I spent most of April in the condo, and it was absolutely perfect! The view is to die for, the location is a perfect jumping off point for the rest of the city, and the amenities are great! We loved riding the trolley on a daily basis - it got us everywhere we needed to go - and for free! The building is gorgeous, and the staff extremely helpful. We highly recommend this unit for couples or small families. The second bedroom is perfect for the little ones, and the additional bathroom makes it easy.Bill made everything easy for us when we arrived. We'll be going back!
