Tropical Pool Home Near Siesta Key, Pet Friendly! POOL

Enjoyable, relaxing and convenient

We loved the location. It was only 3 miles from Siesta Key. We found the home to be very comfortable. The house is close to stores, restaurants and shopping. Great neighborhood to walk in, and we loved sitting out on the Lanai and swimming in the pool. Karyn and Steve were very friendly and easy to reach when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hewett's home on our May vacation to Sarasota. The home and pool were so relaxing with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, The residents at the gulf gate community were also very friendly and we enjoyed talking with the other people who lived there, Karyn was a delightful lady and also extremely helpful with an questions we had while staying there. We can't wait to return here on our next visit to Sarasota. Thank you again Karyn and Steve.

Absolutely Beautiful Home in Perfect Location

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay here was - from the relaxing lanai to the super soft bedding to the proximity to everything I could want and need, including Siesta Key - it was just perfect! The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, too. If I am ever in the area again and this place is available, I am definitely booking here, without hesitation.

Peaceful Retreat

We enjoyed our 2 week peaceful retreat at this Gulf Gate home. Cute with some interesting architectural details. We talked to some folks, it’s believed this house was a model home when it was built in the 1960’s. The owners have updated the things that count the most … AC, appliances, flooring, lighting and ceiling fans. Plus probably things we didn’t see. The master bathroom is so unique. You’ll really enjoy this place. It’s so quiet in the neighborhood, we walked the whole area and it’s such a sweet place. The back yard and pool area is a tropical oasis. The owners have thought of everything you’d need to make your stay very enjoyable. We loved that our miniature poodle was able to stay with us too. My husband and I will definitely be returning next year and are planning to stay 3-4 weeks if it’s available. I almost forgot… you are close to everything within a few minutes. Unfortunately Red Tide was present during our stay on Siesta Key and Venice beach. But the silver lining was that we visited beaches up and down the coast we’d never been to before. Coquina Beach at the end of Longboat Key is a gem. Beautiful white sand, not as fine as Siesta’s but cool to walk on. We splurged and rented lounge chairs and an umbrella ($24) when we went (owners have them in the garage, which we never count on and always bring our own). That was a treat to have someone cone around every once in a while and if we’d like our umbrella position changed. I picked up food from Starfish Company on Cortez for a yummy beach picnic. There’s a great little cafe/grill run by the county and lifeguards as well. Caspersan Beach at the end of Venice Island was a favorite to shell hunt and find Shark’s teeth. We also tried out Englewood Beach, nice facilities and picnic area but you have to pay to park and the sand is very very hot to walk on. So if Red Tide should happen to be present during your stay don’t fret there’s plenty of other beaches and things to do and see.

Perfect pet friendly Beach House

Wonderful home in Gulf Gate section of Sarasota, close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Home is very well maintained and extremely clean and very comfortable. Screened in pool and lanai are very private with comfortable furniture. Equipped with all the amenities you would ever need. The neighborhood is very nice and great for walking fido. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Owners Karyn and Steve are easy to reach and are eager to help in anyway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a tropical getaway.

Paradise!

Hi! Our stay here thus far has been wonderful & perfect! We even extended our stay for a couple more weeks. The owners are easy to contact if need be, considerate, extremely organized, kind & helpful. Their home is comfortable, extremely clean, relaxing & very nice. You have everything you need. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet & everything is convenient & easily accessible (ie: restaurants, shopping, etc). We couldn't ask for better. We highly recommend it!

This cozy home is in a quiet neighborhood located just a short drive to the beach. The pool in the backyard is lovely. Shopping and dining is nearby via a short drive or bike ride.

Absolute Paradise

This house is so amazing! It's spacious and light. The kitchen is so great. It opens up to the pool. You can see the pool from just about everywhere in the house. I can't say enough good things about this house and the owners . It's beautiful on the outside and the inside. It's so close to the beach and everything else . Siesta Key village, restaurants, it has it's own little world also. It is truly something to behold.

A lovely pet friendly accessible home to beach, shopping and cycling trails!

This home situated in the well established Gulf Gate community was ideal! The home is warm, cozy and has all the amenities you would need. It has the feel of a well loved home with coastal decor and not "the early motel" feel. it is well cared for indeed. One of the selling features for us is that it is dog friendly, always a bonus for those of us who travel with pets. Also the owners provide detailed instructions to dog parks, vets and other things you may want to do if you after a first timer to the Sarasota area. Another selling feature for us is that the home is located in a community with lovely quiet streets, neighbours that say hello and is not just a rental community. The owners Steve and Karyn are easy to communicate with, friendly and accommodating. Their house manager Barbara is close by if you have any concerns and is also lovely to speak with if we had any concerns. Bike trails are an easy 3.5 kms. ride away where you can cycle to Venice and back. Shopping re grocery stores are within a few kms. or miles (Costco, Trader Joe's, Publix,Deweilers (best kept secret)) Also the Gulf Gate community is home to the Sarasota Brewing company and other small family owned businesses. You are able to cycle on a path right to these local establishments.. Siesta key is a 10 minute drive with lots of beach and adventure. Gulf Gate library is a 4 minus walk from the house. While the pool was not heated it was a welcome addition to challenge the spirit! Just sitting in the pool area on the comfy furniture relaxing was indeed lovely. We hope to return! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Perfect pet friendly rental home in paradise.

Eautiful well maintained home. Eberything you could possibly need or want is avaliable. Besutiful tropical setting, circle drive usable large 2 car garage, 2 bikes for your use, perfect conditionlots of beach furniture. Even cooler packs in freezer to use. Well kept great lani furnature. Even a mat for your puppy bowls. Ps extremely comfortable beds just an all round great rental house.

Amazing vacation!
