Beautiful view bay front condo

This was a beautifully decorated condo with beautiful views of the bay. Everything we needed was provided, such as beach supplies, towels, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The condo was very clean and the best part was watching the dolphins right outside your door. The owner was easy to work with and check in was not complicated. We will be returning!

Wonderful & tastefully decorated condo in Indian Shores

We stayed in the Indian Shores Waterfront condo in July. The condo has everything that one may need when away from home. It is tastefully decorated, spacious for 2-4 people, close to everything, but yet private. The location is amazing, close to the beach, pool, short drive to Clearwater or other beaches & stores. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again when we visit Indian Shores again. Debbie, the owner, was fantastic and very responsive to all our queries. We will visit again!

Great Getaway!

Beautiful condo!

My husband and I stayed in the condo in February 2022. Even though Mary Ellen was not in town the day we arrived she had baked cookies and stored them in the freezer for us. The condo is very well stocked with linens and towels and kitchen dishes, pots and pans. The bed was very comfortable. Our favorite “room” was the outside patio right on the intracoastal waterway. The location was perfect for all we wanted to do.

Wonderful Waterfront Condo

Mary Ellen was wonderful to work with. Loved her condo, just the right size for my husband and I. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio for morning coffee and to see the sunrise. My husband was able to fish right out the back door and caught several. The condo was very clean, had extra bedding and towels. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need to prepare a meal. We used the gas grill right outside the door, which was very convenient. The pool was warm and we made use of it every day. Would love to spend some time there again.

Lovely Intercoastal Condo

We were extremely pleased with this cute condo. Clean, everything we could want plus fine dining next door. Mary Ellen was a joy to work with. Furnishing were very nice and accessibility was easy too. A short walk, across the street, got us to the Gulf beach. A very clean community propane BBQ grill was just outside our door for cooking - some black grouper! Only problem was - that our 5 day trip wasn't long enough enjoy the setting more.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

Place was perfect. It was fully stocked with anything and everything we could have ever needed. Location was perfect. Not too crowded but still close enough in proximity to everything. Mary Ellen was so accommodating and checked in often to make sure our stay was nothing less of amazing. She even left us cookies, which were absolutely delicious. Amazing Family Vacation

This condo was the perfect one for our family and Mary Ellen was a wonderful host! The location was perfect for relaxing on the patio at night, walking to the beach or to play putt putt. We felt like we were close enough that we could drive in either direction for shopping, excursions or dining out. Mary Ellen's unit was clean and well stocked with just about anything you could need. The one thing she didn't have were fishing poles but once she heard the boys wanted to fish she brought them some! We had a great time and looking forward to our next visit!

Cute condo and great location

We recently spent a few nights at this adorably decorated condo with a beachy theme. The condo was right on the intercostal waterfront with its own patio and just a short walk to the ocean. Next door is a fabulous restaurant, Salt Rock Grill, which we highly recommend. The owner is local and delightful to work with.

Great Location with Lots of Space!

This location is perfect. It is in walking distance to the beach. The 1 bedroom sleeps 4 and has a huge family and kitchen space. There is enough room to put an air mattress if you don't want to use the sleeper sofa. The people that work there are extremely accommodating and if you need anything they are right there.

Barefoot Beach

As previous reviewers have stated - this is a wonderful place to stay. The condo is meticulously and lovingly taken care of by the owner Mary Ellen. We stayed with her about 10 years ago and then again in early June this year. She has added so many super cute beachy touches to her decor and all the furniture and appliances/TV/air conditioning is in perfect working order. The condo is supplied with everything you need for the beach which is right across the street. Love the water views from the patio too.The best part is the how sweet the owner is and she lives nearby just in case anything is needed. You come as guests and leave as friends! Wonderful Vacation Condo

This condo has everything needed for enjoying a wonderful beach vacation. First is the waterfront location. Located in Indian Shores on the intercostal waterway, the first floor condo has a private sitting area to enjoy the water view of passing boats and playful dolphins with the gulf beach just steps away. Secondly, you’ll find the condo to be extremely comfortable and well taken care of with a “home-away-from-home” feel. The best is working with Mary Ellen. She is very accommodating and does everything possible to make your stay perfect. We are looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I stayed here for the first time and we loved this unit. We come to Florida a couple of times a year, and we would love to stay again. The condo is so cute and clean and the host was awesome to work with! We saw many dolphins right from the patio. The grounds are lovely. Best Vacation Rental Ever

Rented for a week and that was not long enough. The owner Mary Ellen was wonderful stayed in touch with me during our visit. Had the pleasure of meeting her and we just loved her. When we arrived she had made cookies that were delicious. Condo smelled amazing. Decorated beautifully and very well taken care of and clean. Sunrise from back porch was so relaxing and beautiful. The beach is a short walk across the street. We fished every night, caught and released tons of catfish at the community dock. Just a short drive up the road is a convenient store on the right next to ice cream shop had frozen bait we used squid and mullet. As soon as you throw in your line you are getting a bite. The ocean was very warm and clear. The community pool was heated and well kept. The landscape through out the community was beautiful. Everything about our stay we loved. Indian shores and MaryEllens condo will be our future vacation spot every year. Can not wait to go back.

Paradise

The condo is so cute, tastefully decorated, and clean. The views off the back patio are amazing and the sunrises are even better. I got to see dolphins while enjoying the breeze off the water. Everyone is very friendly and considerate. The pool is nicely maintained as well as the rest of the grounds. There are grills to use, although I did not use them. My host was incredible! She knew it was my birthday so she decorated a little bit, and made cookies! She also was in contact with me throughout my stay to make sure everything was running smoothly. Location cannot be any better!

Perfect location with gorgeous sunrise views at this perfectly situated condo. Wake up to an unforgettable morning sunrise, walk right across the street and spend the day at the beach and watch the sunset, or stay at the complex and enjoy the heated pool. Relaxation on the waterway

My husband and I are both educators who had been home since mid-March due to the pandemic and were very ready for a getaway. We had a wonderful, relaxing time while enjoying Mary Ellen’s adorably decorated condo. She is a very attentive host, both with her communication and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed dividing our time between poolside at the complex, across the street on the soft, sandy beach taking in the sunsets, and sitting on the bench behind the condo watching the boats and wildlife on the inter-coastal waterway. We have spent previous Florida vacations in a studio condominium, while Mary Ellen’s condo offered options within its layout and separate bedroom areas to enjoy extra space. Her condo had everything we needed for our stay, plus some extras! This home away from home hosted our first trip to the Indian Shores area, and we would love to return on a future vacation.

Fabulous long weekend stay

Our favourite place in the world

We would love to say "home from home" but our home in the UK does not have the most beautiful view in our wildest dreams or dolphins!!! Everything and more

This was my third time staying at Barefoot beach resort. The first two visits were through the rental office. Not only is Mary Ellen’s condo cheaper there is literally everything you need. The standard rentals have the bare minimum while this condo is stocked! Loads of extra linens, towels, cooking supplies (including spices, condiments, coffee filters), beach umbrella, 3 coolers, 2 beach chairs, dvds, air mattress.... everything thing you need and more. Will definitely rent again!

Barefoot on the Beach!

Sweet Stay

Loved Barefoot Beach resort and this condo. Everything is so convenient that even my elder mom who is mobility limited could enjoy everything! Mary Ellen is the best host and makes sure your every need is met and the complex is clean and friendly. Anniversary again at Mary Ellen's place.

We have returned again for Anniversary #56 at Mary Ellen's condo. What a great relaxing and serene place with your own private patio over looking the Intercoastal waterway. In Florida for a Weekend Wedding

This condo is just amazing! It's impeccably kept. The owner is thoughtful and attentive, but not overly involved. The view of the intracoastal is just amazing. The location is so convenient, whether you're hitting the beach, enjoy Gulf-side cocktails or leaving the barrier island to take on Tampa or St. Pete. It so reasonably priced and we'd of paid twice the amount we did just to enjoy this spot again. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Little Getaway!!!

My husband and I were searching for the perfect spot for our first family vacation and this was it! From the beginning Maryellen was wonderful and very helpful. When we arrived there were fresh baked cookies and the entire condo was very clean, neat, and welcoming. We had our 1 year old with us and it was just the perfect size. This condo had everything we needed for our stay and made it so much easier on us! With everything from a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, and beach toys for the little. It was a perfect get away for our family. It is within walking distance from a few coffee shops, ice cream places and an awesome pizza place. Short drives in either direction put you in either Clearwater for Pier 60 or down to St Johns Pass. Coming back to the condo after our short trips away was always the best. Just relaxing on the porch watching the birds and boats was exactly what we needed. We were blessed with next to perfect weather all week so we were able to enjoy the beach every day we were there! We plan on contacting Maryellen next year in hopes to stay again!

Great Get Away

We live in Tampa but are always looking for a beach get away and we found it with Mary Ellen's place. The condo is nicely decorated and location is within walking distance to everything. We love the fact that it was on the intercoastal vs the beach as it makes it more private and enjoyable. You are literally steps away from one of the best restaurants in the area "Salt Rock Grill" of which we went to a few times during our visit. We brought our bikes and we able to ride them everywhere and we never needed our cars. One of our favorite parts of our visit was being able to put our paddle board and kayak in the water right from the back door and we got to see dolphins while we were the water. The condo has all of the amenities needed to have a great vacation.We highly recommend this rental and look forward to when we can return.

Paradise Getaway

This condo was great. The location was perfect, a few steps from the pool and a short walk to the beach. The causeway runs right outside the door so if fishing is your thing this is the perfect spot. We had our coffee each morning on the patio and it was great watching people fish or boats go by. The unit is decorated very tastefully and felt like someone’s home rather than a vacation rental. The owner Mary Ellen is a gem, she answered any of our questions promptly, offered a ride from the airport if we needed one and even brought us cookies which my grandchildren loved. The unit has sufficient bedding for the pull out sofa as well as the air mattresses. She has beach chairs, beach toys, coolers as well as an abundance of beach towels so no need to bring any. The kitchen is stocked well for most everything you need for preparing a meal and the grill is right outside the door, very convenient. We have rented many times at Barefoot beach but her unit by far has been the best, we will definitely be back. Thanks again Mary Ellen for a fabulous stay.

Barefootin!

Believe or not we live in Largo and of all the places at the beach to just get away and enjoy the atmosphere, we come to Barefoot. So very clean( by owner, which makes a big difference) floor level, just walk out to intercostal from back door. Just so many pluses to mention. Worth every bit!!!! Beautiful beach condo vacation spot

Beautiful condo on the beach with so much to do. There is a pool, bbqs, beach access for the resort, and one of the best restaurants in Pinellas County right next door. Relaxing stay and MaryEllen is a wonder renter. Another great perk is the full kitchen! The condo is decorated beautifully and you feel like your at home. I live in the area so I love to use it as a staycation spot. Once you stay once you will want to again!

Exquisite

The most refreshing vacation. Viewing a beautiful sun rising and coffee in the morning, fresh breeze flows through the condo. The pool is steps away. Wonderful place to get acquainted with other guest. Great happy hour at Salt Rock right next store! While sitting on the private patio you can watch dolphins chasing boats. Mary Ellen has thought of everything from pool toys, beach towels, and a neighborhood directory of events places to eat and see. Excellent decor, very beach vibe Absolutely LOVED my time their. Our Forever Condo

My wife and I have been traveling to Florida at least once a year since we were married in 1979.We have always stayed at different places just because we like change and variety. No more... After staying at Mary Ellen's beautiful condo just once we were hooked. It is perfect in every way. The only drawback is that after meeting Mary Ellen in person, we have to go back home to our own friends and neighbors without her. Do not hesitate to book with her. Just don't book when we want to come to Florida.

Can’t say enough about this beautiful home away from home. Accommodations are phenomenal. Views from this condo are surreal. We watch the fisherman unload their catch to the 4 star restaurant next door. Pool is gorgeous and only a few steps away. We have been staying here for three years and extend the time every year. Fantastic Choice!

My husband and I decided to look for a condo instead of staying at hotels as we had done every year in the past.He happened to see Mary Ellen's listing.We knew we loved the area and remembered exactly where this condo was located. I called and texted with Mary Ellen.She and I connected immediately,& we selected a week to visit.Luckily, it was available.This condo is a great choice if you want to be near the beach and the all the action and activities! Her condo is right on the Inlet and affords you the luxury of watching the dolphins, boats, and people pass, as you sip a drink on her patio.Close to The Frog Pond, and all our favorite restaurants.The trolley was another fun way to explore this area. I have extremely high expectations and they were all met : Clean, darling decor, safe area, and amazing views.She met us with such warmth and hospitality. Cookies too! Mary Ellen's lovely condo on Indian Rocks Beach is accommodating in every way--amenities, location, intercoastal water view--all combining for a wonderful, carefree stay. Barefoot Beach Resort (good pool, steps away from the gulf, close to restaurants) is a comfortable place to stay and Mary Ellen has the best condo of all. First Class

Just an out standing condo, very clean and equipped with every thing you may need, beach towels, beach chairs, full kitchen and comfortable bed. The view from setting on the private porch outstanding. The pool 50 feet away, the beach 75 feet across the street. The wife and I are here for our 55th wedding anniversary and could not have found a nicer place to stay. Mary Ellen the owner lives in town and can be reached for anything you may need. Paradise

Tropical Oasis

If you are looking for a slice of paradise, look no further!! I am already counting down the days until I stay here again!! Imagine waking up and having your coffee on the intracoastal, only steps from your back door!! You may even have dolphins swim by and wave while you are relaxing on your beautiful patio. The location of this unit is peaceful and absolutely perfect! Mary Ellen has EVERYTHING you need for a perfect beach vacation and even a few things you didn’t even know you needed!!! Heaven On The Intercoastal

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mary Ellen and her beautiful condo on the intercoastal!!!! I cannot say enough good things about both. Have been staying there for many years now and I would not stay anyplace else. From the smell of fresh baked cookies when you walk in, to the beautiful and inviting decoration, to the patio overlooking the intercoastal, to the cleanliness....Oh, I could go on and on. Just know that you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Very convenient location and within walking distance to the Salt Rock, Pizza Place, Putt-Putt Golf and one of our favorites, Mahuffer's. I've stayed in MaryEllen's condo for the past 9 winters. It's the best of all worlds. The condo is on the Intercoastal Waterway with a great pool and gulf beaches nearby. I think the location is the best in the complex. It's on a corner lot directly on the Intercoastal Waterway. There are lots of great restaurants and fun activities nearby. MaryEllen is very helpful. You can't go wrong if you rent this condo.

Perfect for a Romantic Getaway!!

Rented this for a quick getaway beach weekend. Great location, walk to Salt Rock Grill right next door and easy access to the beach across the street for beautiful sunsets. Great to sit on the back patio and watch the boats go by on the Intercoastal. Mary Ellen even had baked cookies for us when we arrived. You won't be disappointed with this Barefoot Beach unit. Equipped with everything you'll need, just bring your toothbrush! 5 Stars!!!

Little Piece of heaven on the beach

This Condo is very beautiful and extremely well kept. The Owner has thought of everything, from the giant beach towels to the Pots and Pans and even beach toys for my little ones. Our arrival was met with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and even a bottle of wine. Every thought to detail has been met. The short walk to the beach was so worth every step. The beach has white powdery sand and cristal clear water. The condo has BBQ on site and a wonderful pool for afternoon laps. The back patio faces the inner coastal water ways with the opportunity to rent daily boat slip. We had the opportunity to watch Dolfins as we ate dinner on the patio sipping on some wine. I will continue to rent from Mary Ellen because she always makes my vacation a Memorable one ❤️
