The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the guest bedroom has a full and twin. This home is open bright and airy completely remodeled with tile in kitchen, living room, hall and bathrooms. Bedrooms have hardwood floors throughout. Flat screen televisions in every room, spacious closets and separate washer and dryer area. Fully furnished kitchen, and linen closet. This was our second year to stay at this property and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The home was nicely decorated, very clean, and the layout worked perfect for parking our trailer and docking our boat. We enjoyed snorkeling and fishing, and was able to do both at this location.

All in all it was a good experience. the house smelled like it hadn't been aired out in a while, Otherwise it was good. I would stay here again but if you want to use the Cabana Club membership - go when school is in session so you can get a seat in the small bar area. And if you want to use the little beach go before high tide or you are out of luck.We enjoyed sunning in the lounge chairs at the house along the canal and didn't get a chance to get the Kayaks unlocked. But they looked fun. While we were there the weather was cold, and they had a pretty big rain that caused the street to flood. This wasn't the renter's fault.Supporting Information: We were very disappointed in the "Cabana club' access - it was small with very little beach. Just not what we expected. The pool did look nice just too many kids over the winter break.NOTE: the information 'book' in the house - some pages dated to 2014, information about the rules and the old trash cans. That really needs updated.

My wife and 2 daughters stayed here for 2 weeks. The property was perfect and was exceptionally clean and updated. The house was furnished nicely and had extra beach towels for our use. The dock and backyard area was perfect. We also loved the covered sitting deck area also. The kitchen was well equipped and fully stocked with everything we needed. Key Colony beach is centrally located in the Keys, making it a perfect spot to be convenient to the upper or lower Keys. We loved the Cabanna Club and the private beach. WHEN we come back, this is where we will be staying!

We just completed a wonderful stay at 661 10th street. The property and grounds were immaculate. The spacious house was well equipped with every amenity you could think of. This was one of the best rental properties we’ve ever stayed at. All the furnishings were clean and up to date. We’ve stayed at several properties in KCB and this one is head and shoulders above the others for about the same price. We intend on coming back regularly.

I was so happy to return to my favorite vacation spot in Key Colony. The house is beautiful and the Lawhorn’s are so easy to work with. The renovated kitchen is pristine and well equipped with everything you need. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a dock overlooking the canal. I particularly enjoyed the Cabana Pool Club and Beach and there are a lot of activities for the entire family. Restaurants are nearby and it is only 50 miles from Key West. Can’t wait to visit next year!

Key Colony Beach is indeed "the gem of the Florida Keys." It offers shops, restaurants, beach and pool access, golf, tennis, and really friendly people. I enjoyed a phenomenal jazz concert and a hilarious play at the Marathon Community Theatre. The half duplex I stayed in was really nice and had all the comforts of home. It's an easy drive to enjoy the shopping and dining in Islamorada. Of course, you must make the hour drive to the amazing Key West. There's something for everybody there - a people-watcher's mecca. I have been coming to Key Colony Beach for over 20 years. Every visit is relaxing and fun. Of course, the weather is indeed Paradise. I'll be back.

We arrived to this property Saturday afternoon and found it exactly as pictured, and very clean. The decorations make you feel right at home, and all appliances work great, there is even an extra cooler in the laundry room downstairs which served great for fishing trips. Once in your boat it’s a couple minute right to either the Atlantic or gulf and it was very easy to put the boat in the water at the public ramp within 2 miles of the house. The key colony area is very quiet and clean and was the perfect spot to relax, fish, dive and enjoy the beautiful weather.

In 2001 the City redeveloped Sombrero Beach a beautiful park and beach at the end of Sombrero Blvd. Sombrero Beach is located at MM50 and is a lovely beach on the Atlantic Ocean that frames a shady park with picnic pavilions, volleyball courts, restrooms and showers. It is also a turtle nesting beach.
Coco Plum Beach is also on the Atlantic Ocean. It is more of a natural beach area with an adjacent wetland area. There are restroom facilities and a covered pavilion available. Coco Plum Beach is a turtle nesting beach also. Beach is open 7:00 AM - Dusk.
Bahia Honda State Park is one of Florid's southernmost state parks, known for beautiful beaches, magnificent sunsets, and excellent snorkeling. Bahia Honda is named America's Best Beach and was selected as a Trip Advisor Travelers Choice. Visitors can picnic on the beach and take a swim or simply relax and enjoy the balmy sea breezes that caress the shores year round. Anglers can fish from shore or bring a boat.

Crane's Point museum provides a display of local wildlife, marine life and artifacts: Objects from Spanish exploration such as snails and sea turtles.
