Point East 208: Oceanfront 2BR Condo on the No-Drive Beach, Heated Pool

Welcome to Point East Unit 208, a bright, updated 2-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront condo on the quiet no-drive beach in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Rent directly from the owner. No booking-site service fees, and you deal with me, not a call center.

The master suite has a king bed and opens onto the private balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room gives you room for up to 6 guests. The living room also opens to the balcony and has an electric fireplace for cooler evenings.

The fully equipped kitchen has a Samsung electric range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker (with coffee to start you off), toaster, blender, kettle and ice maker, plus pots, pans, dishes and wine glasses. Eat at the dining table or the 3-seat breakfast bar.

Comfort: central air and heat, ceiling fans, smart TVs with cable, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, room-darkening shades, bed linens and bath towels, extra pillows and blankets, hair dryer, iron and board. Pack 'n Play, highchair, board games and beach essentials are provided.

The building has an elevator and a flat path from the parking lot to the elevator. Free on-site parking (two parking passes provided), plus shared laundry rooms on every floor.

About 1,000 sq ft, second floor. Check-in 4 PM, check-out 9:30 AM. 4-night minimum stay. Primary renter must be 25+. Non-smoking. No pets (Point East Association rules); service dogs welcome.

Area Information

Point East sits at 3801 S. Atlantic Avenue on the quiet south end of New Smyrna Beach, a laid-back Florida beach town known for surfing, fishing and wide, soft-sand beaches. You're a short drive from the shops and restaurants on Flagler Avenue, the Canal Street Historic District and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Canaveral National Seashore is just to the south, and Orlando's theme parks are about an hour and a half away.

The beach, right out the door. Playground, pickleball and basketball courts next door. Chase's on the Beach for lunch or dinner with your toes in the sand.

Watch the sunrise over the ocean from the balcony. Check the tide chart: low tide is the best time for long beach walks and bike rides on the hard-packed sand. Grab a spot by the pool early on summer weekends.
