We enjoy Hubbard's Friendly Fisherman and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at John’s Pass for a casual meal and a fun vacation atmosphere. If you’re exploring farther along the coast, Shrimpy's Waterfront has excellent Cajun and Crabby Bill’s in Indian Rocks Beach is another place we’ve enjoyed, along with Dockside Dave's and the Saltwater Hippie Bar!
And don’t miss the ice cream shop across the street from the condo! Sometimes a simple evening stroll for ice cream is the perfect way to finish the day. We’re happy to share more suggestions based on what you’re craving.
Our favorite tip is to leave some time unplanned. Take a morning walk along the shoreline, enjoy a relaxed meal at the condo, and make time to watch the sunset.
Check the kitchen before grocery shopping—you may find more cooking equipment and useful extras than you expected! We also provide beach gear, so check what’s available before buying or packing your own.
When returning from the beach, use the rinse areas to wash sand from your feet and equipment before entering the building. It helps keep the condo and shared spaces comfortable for everyone.
Adventure is close by at John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk! Enjoy parasailing, jet ski and WaveRunner rentals, boat rentals, dolphin-watching tours, sunset cruises, and island shelling excursions.
Fishing enthusiasts can choose from shared “party boat” fishing trips and private deep-sea fishing charters through Hubbard’s Marina and other local operators. Families can also enjoy a pirate adventure cruise, while those seeking a relaxing outing can take a scenic boat tour through the area’s coastal waters.
John’s Pass also offers waterfront restaurants, shops, and sweet treats—making it easy to plan a full day of fun beyond the beach.
