This is a 'Funky Beach Shack' themed upscale luxury home and it's just a short walk from the sugar white beaches and emerald waters of Destin, Florida. The Gulf comes to you in this home, with bright colors, local artwork, and funky fish galore.
We are located within the Emerald Shores subdivision, a family oriented tropical beach community of upscale homes, situated 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. You will enjoy the two large heated community pools, the close proximity to the beach, access to the beach pavilion, onsite tennis, and the security of gated entrances.
Soft sandy shores and beautiful emerald water are just steps away. EMERALD SHORES is the only residential community in Destin that has a private beach pavilion with restrooms, outdoor showers, beach service and it's very own Cabana Cafe' & Bar! This eliminates having to go back to the home for potty breaks, or to rinse off the kids or to just get a bite to eat with a cold beverage. It's all available at the Emerald Shores beach pavilion!
'BIMINI BREEZE' [3 bedrooms + 1 Bonus Room, 3 baths - Sleeps 14].
This recently remodeled Caribbean/Nautically-themed two-story vacation home is located about 125 yards from the beach (2 - 3 minute walk) and only one house away from the neighborhood pool. The home has a spacious 2300 square feet of living area, a large front yard, and a gourmet kitchen which includes granite counters, stone back splashes and stainless appliances.
The home boasts three King Master Bedrooms and has a Bonus Room upstairs. This is a great set-up for three families with the bonus room upstairs providing a separate TV/gaming room and sleeping area for up to 8 kids (set-up as a 4th bedroom). Flat screen TV's are located in every room in the house including a 60 inch tv in the living room.
Total of 6 flat screen TV's including surround sound in the living room downstairs. Ceiling fans are located in every room. We also have free high-speed internet connection including 2.4ghz and 5ghz WIFI access. All of the amenities of being in your own home.
Balconies and porches are located off all bedrooms and open up to soak in all of our tropical Gulf breezes.
FIRST LEVEL [sleeps 2]:
* 1st Master Bedroom, King bed, full bath, wall mounted flat screen, door opens to private porch area.
* 1st Living Room, 2 sofas, two chairs, two ottomans, 51 inch LCD tv 1080p with surround sound speakers & ceiling fan
* Dining Room, dining table (seats six).
* Kitchen with granite counters, stone backs splash, stainless appliances, 3 bar stools, table and 4 chairs, wall mounted LCD flat screen, ceiling fan, covered patio area.
* Outdoor Gas Grill, shower, two pull wagons for hauling beach toys
SECOND LEVEL [sleeps 12]:
* 2nd Master Bedroom, King bed, full bath, work desk, wall mounted 47 inch 1080p LCD, ceiling fan, door opens to private balcony.
* Bonus Room, 4 bunk beds(twins over fulls), 1 day bed + trundle, 50 inch 1080p LCD on wall, ceiling fan and third full bath in hallway.
* 3rd Master Bedroom, King bed, 42 inch LCD, ceiling fan, door opens to private balcony. Restroom with walk-in shower in hall.
* Laundry Room with full-size washer and dryer, two irons, ironing board, and dry rack.
Pool is a Frisbee toss away. Outdoor shower, gas grill, patio chairs and table. Driveway will accommodate three vehicles. NOTE: We do keep two plastic pull wagons at the home for your use when going to the beach or pool.

We enjoyed staying here. The home is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc. Towel supply was adequate but could use more wash cloths and hand towels. The bedroom layout is perfect for our family and it was so nice to have king beds for the adult rooms! The walk to the beach is a bit longer than I gathered from the information but the golf cart shuttle is very nice. We loved the private entrance to the beach and having the bathrooms close by. Our grands loved the shaved ice at the snack bar. The pool close to the house was very nice and very well maintained. Definitely would choose this again!

The house was great we had kids from age 4 to 10 and the open room with all the beds upstairs is perfect. There was plenty of room for everybody well stocked in a great location. I also like the idea that the TVs were not just Roku they actually had cable.Check in was very easy. Josh was great. Answered all my questions right away. Parking was a challenge, but we got to know our neighbors, which made it very easy to fit all the cars. I think the outside. Could’ve been cleaned up a little better. It was pretty messy look like it hadn’t been swept in a long time.

This was our first stay at Bimini Breeze for snowbird season and we’ll be back next year. It’s within walking distance of two of our favorite restaurants and close to the beach as well. The kitchen is well stocked. Jay was very responsive to all of our needs.

We so thoroughly enjoyed our week at 31 Amber Cove in Emerald Shores in Destin! The house was inviting, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was just as advertised: location, space, beach proximity, as well as proximity to restaurants and things to do. It met and exceeded our expectations! We had one very small issue, and Betty and Jay were quick to take care of it. The neighborhood was so family friendly, and we loved the quiet time after 10pm. That was especially important since we had a 3 and 5 year old with us.

2019 was our 1st family vacation with our children and grandchildren. We chose the “Bimini Breeze” for a wonderful Spring Break! We stayed the first week of April and although the weather could have been a little better the house was awesome! Bimini Breeze was a very short walk to the beach and the one of the heated pools was one house walk away. The house was very clean when we arrived. My son was the first to arrive as there was 3 of us that drove down (yes they accommodate 3 vehicles on this property) and he called me once he looked around and said “Mom you did good! This house is awesome! We were extremely happy with the location of the house and everything that was included – plenty of linens, wi-fi, cable, grill and 2 wagons for the beach. I really like the idea of being able to leave food that has been unopened to be donated! The day prior to our departure we had started washing the towels and smelled burning coming from the washer. We unplugged it immediately and I emailed Jay and Betty to advise them but also followed up with a call. Jay was so appreciative that I called to let him know and he immediately set up to get a new washer and dryer. Responses like that prove to me that they care about their properties. I can say that any future vacations in Destin our first pick will be with one of Jay and Betty’s properties. Ketrina
