One of the things I love most about Destin is that there's something for everyone. Start your mornings with a peaceful walk along Henderson Beach State Park, where the sugar-white sand and emerald waters are truly unforgettable. It's my favorite place to watch the sunrise or enjoy a quiet beach day.

If you're looking for adventure, don't miss a trip to Crab Island. Rent a pontoon boat, join a shuttle tour, or book a dolphin cruise—it's one of Destin's signature experiences and a favorite among both visitors and locals.

In the evenings, head to HarborWalk Village to enjoy waterfront dining, live music, local shops, and beautiful sunsets over the harbor. Watching the fishing boats return with the day's catch is a classic Destin experience, and there are plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy incredibly fresh Gulf seafood.

If you enjoy shopping, Destin Commons and Silver Sands Premium Outlets are both just a short drive away. Golf enthusiasts will also find several excellent courses nearby, while families can enjoy mini golf, water parks, snorkeling excursions, fishing charters, parasailing, paddleboarding, and sunset cruises.

One of my favorite recommendations is to take a short scenic drive along Highway 30A. The charming beach communities of Grayton Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, and Alys Beach each have their own unique character, wonderful restaurants, boutique shopping, and some of the most beautiful coastal scenery on the Emerald Coast. Many visitors tell me this becomes one of the highlights of their trip.
