Welcome to Punta Rassa Waters Edge, a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bath waterfront retreat nestled along the sparkling shores of San Carlos Bay. Perfectly situated just north of the iconic Sanibel Causeway entrance, this coastal escape offers you panoramic water views, unforgettable sunsets, and easy access to all that Southwest Florida has to offer. You are just a few steps away from the on-property hot tub, pool, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, and gas grills, as well as the paved waterfront boardwalk with direct access to the water's edge for fishing. Additionally, as our guest, you are permitted to access the adjacent Sanibel Harbor Yacht Club through a coded gate and enjoy their private second and third floor bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

The 5th floor Waters Edge was renovated in 2026 and features a bright open floor plan decorated for comfort, entertaining, and enjoying the awe-inspiring views from anywhere. The fully equipped kitchen flows into dining area then onto a comfortable leather seating area. Beyond the glass sliding wall lies a large screened Lanai where chairs and table look west over the San Carlos Bay. Sunlight pours in throughout the day until a breathtaking sunset takes over the evening sky.

Have a seat as gentle breezes blow through this screened portal and relax watching dolphins at play, shorebirds fishing the water's edge and boats heading up the coastline to the Gulf. If you're an early bird, grab a rocker and your coffee and enjoy the sunrise over Fort Myers Beach from the east facing entry balcony. Get out early and enjoy all that the area offers, or sit back and relax. Situated on a point of land with water views on all sides, Punt Rassa Water's Edge is a true hidden gem in southwest Florida.

From the king bed in the master suite you will look west through the ceiling high slider window at the San Carlos Bay with Sanibel and Pine Islands in the distance. A make up area leads to the ensuite bath with walk-in shower and the large walk in closet that provides ample hanging and shelved storage for even extended stays. A 55" Smart HDTV, smart LED lighting and electric remote control roller blinds finish off the space.

The guest bedroom features an East facing window for beatiful sunrise views and a king bed that can be separated into two Twin XLs. Ample closet storage and a Smart 55" HDTV finish off the space. One step to the left of the entry door is the full bath with walk-in shower. To the right of the entry door are the full size washer and dryer and beyond, a door that allows you to close off the whole area from the rest of the living space for total privacy.

This prime location places you just minutes from the very best of Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach and the Fort Myers River District.

As you travel toward Sanibel on the causeway, you will pass Causeway Islands Park, where beach activities include fishing, swimming, shelling and picnicking. Grilling is permitted and there is no fee for parking. Continue on to explore Sanibel’s world-renowned beaches, known for exceptional shelling, calm Gulf waters, and spectacular sunsets. On Sanibel Island, you’ll find charming island boutiques, over 40 restaurants and casual beach bars, bike rentals, 25 miles of dedicated bike trails, all family friendly.

Traveling north on Sanibel Island you will cross onto Captiva Island where the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge is located. It’s a nature lover’s paradise, ideal for biking, walking, birdwatching, or scenic drives. Follow up your excursion with lunch or dinner at one of the many dining options located on Captiva.

Bunche Beach is a 7 minute drive off John Morris Road and offers kayak launch and kayak rentals, restrooms, fishing piers, and a small boardwalk. The Beach itself spans 3 miles of sandy coastline and is a favorite of locals.

Fort Myers Beach is a 15-minute drive and is best known for its wide white-sand beaches, warm Gulf waters, and spectacular sunsets. Located on Estero Island along Florida’s Gulf Coast, it is a favorite destination lined with over 25 beachfront restaurants and bars including the newly constructed Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville complex.

The Fort Myers River District is only a 30-minute drive and features a safe and inviting day or evening destination with more than 60 restaurants and over 30 bars within walking distance. The Art Walk and Music Walk are free events on the first and third Friday of every month from 6-10pm featuring a 12-block cordoned off open container area with live music and numerous outside dining options. The Florida Repertory Theater offers nightly live theater and the Sydney and Berne Center for the Arts hosts concerts, art exhibitions, and galas and features an open-air roof top bar. On your way to the district, you will pass the Edison Ford Winter estate, a national historic site and former winter residence of these two great entrepreneurs, open daily for guided or self-guided tours.

For the essentials, a Publix grocery store is just one mile inland on Summerlin Road at the Sanibel Beach Place Shopping Center along with several other shops and small restaurants.

As well as a beautiful vacation destination, Fort Myers and its surrounding area encompass a safe vibrant living/working community where you can access all kinds of goods and services including but not limited to dining, shopping, theater, museums, sightseeing, fishing, boating and health care.

Within walking distance you will find the 4 restaurants at the 5 star Marriott Hotel next door. There are also miles of walking trails on the property. The Sanibel Harbour Princess is a yacht moored at the Marriott and offers sunset dining cruises. You will also have access to the bar, cafe, owner's lounge and restaurant at the Sanibel Harbour Yacht Club connected to our parking lot through a coded gate. You can walk to the Bimini Bait Shack Restaruant and Bar with daily live music or to the sandy beach area right along Summerlin Road near the entrance to the Sanibel Causeway.
