I teach high school and decided to do something fun this summer during my break, so I stayed on Starfish Dr. in Ana's rental for 5 weeks (only 10 minutes away from my new granddaughter.) Everything about my stay here was first rate. The rental is beautifully decorated and has all the conveniences I could imagine.There's a beautiful lanai that is furnished with cozy seating, as well as a gorgeous backyard with a dining table on pavers surrounded by the typical FL crushed shell ground cover. Inside, I felt right at home on the inviting sofa and cooked meals in the well-appointed kitchen. There is a washer and dryer, dishwasher, full stove/oven, huge refrigerator w/ ice maker and even a wine fridge! The bed is THE most comfortable bed i've ever slept on and intend to buy the same type of mattress when I get home! As a bonus, the neighborhood is fantastic for long morning walks. Everyone is friendly, the homes are lovely, the lawns are manicured, and the views are fantastic from the neighborhood park/boat ramp. I felt completely safe here as a woman staying alone.The rental is conveniently located to EVERYTHING! Target, Walmart, Publix, Siesta Key beaches, vintage stores (like RetroRevival) coffee shops, shopping, restaurants...ANYTHING you need is within 15 minutes of here! There's even a Culver's on the corner within a very short walking distance.Ana & her husband were readily available to take care of any potential problems. They are so kind and accommodating and thought of everything for their guests. I do NOT want to leave, but it's time to get back to my "real life." I hope to return next summer!
