Wow! What a view! The super cool Surf Shack has been totally redecorated, everything is new. You will love the bamboo ceiling, palm leaf fan for great sleeping (if you sleep with a fan), 50" TV with 250 cable channels, hot tub, grills, huge pool deck with the biggest pool in Daytona Beach. No more fighting over pool chairs and tables, there are plenty. There is a fitness room and game room free of charge. The vibes in the condo cannot be beat from the bright yellow surfboard table and tractor seat stools to the surfboards hanging on the walls. There is one comfy queen bed and a futon couch which will fold out to a full size bed. The couch is right in front of the sliding glass doors so that you can sit and look at the ocean or go out on the balcony and enjoy the seats/table and sea air. You will have everything you need like cookware, dinnerware, towels, bedding and linens. Land Shark and Crabbys restaurant are right next door. Go a little further down the beach and you will be at Joes Crab Shack with The Roof bar on top, this is an open air bar that is located way out in the water on a pier! This is a personal favorite not just because of the view and the fire rings but it also has live music! Don't forget to hit the best venue in the world, the Daytona Beach Bandshell located on the beach! There are free concerts there all summer.
Daytona has so much to offer besides the beautiful beaches, the speedway, Rockville and bike week, blah blah blah. How about the abundant number of Tiki bars. I personally am going on a Sunday afternoon crawl. I have never met a Tiki bar I did not like. I already spoke about the Bandshell, but there are tons of festivals for food and art. We have a convention center for a variety of events. There is also plenty of fishing on the sea or in the Halifax river. There are cruises, rentals of all kinds, boats, bikes, golf carts, surfboards etc. I have only scratched the surface. Maybe go to Groupon to check out the deals.
Beach, restaurants, tiki bars etc.
We have some amusement park rides like the slingshot and a ferris wheel etc. just a mile away. The biggest amusement parks are Universal which is about 60 miles and Disney which is about 75 miles away. We also havea water park just about 5 miles down Atlantic across from the movie theater and Conference Center. A favorite thing to do is to go see a free concert at the Daytona Beach Bandshell, which is right on the ocean and only a few miles from the condo. We have a very large outlet mall which has some great deals! There is too much to list. Just feel free to ask me if you have a specific interest.
