Queen size bed, large closet and plenty of cabinet space for storage. We have a queen sleeper couch that sleeps 2 as well. In condo washer and dryer so no trips to the laundrymat. Bright and cheery interior with full size fridge, fully loaded kitchen for your dining pleasure, grilling is permitted down in the common area where you can relax and cook your food while chatting with other residents or just enjoy sitting at the heated pool or spa. Dock is available for smaller boats, please let us know when you book. Local ramp is down the road less than 1/8 mile away. The best part is that you are 10 min from the Rainbow river with tubing and kayaking from Blue Run or the state park. Lake Rousseau is just a float away where you can catch your huge Florida bass and cook it for dinner! We have Publix and Walmart less than 10 min away with many options for dining. We offer a beautiful, quiet condo where you can bring your own kayak and launch from our dock as well.

Dunnellon is a beautiful area with the Rainbow River State park, KP Hole and the Withlacoochee river all within 10 min of each other - Crystal River is a 30 min drive away where crystal clear springs (71 degrees every day) are amazing! The World Equestrian Center is a short drive into Ocala where you can watch a horse show (in season), shop at the newly built equestrians dream shopping center, enjoy dinner at the 5 star hotel as well. Downtown Ocala features many restaurants and festivals. Drive west to Crystal River and rent a boat out to the Gulf of America from a local marina and enjoy the sawgrass Salt River where you can fish for tarpon, redfish or sea trout (in season). Cedar key is 45 min north. Tampa is an 60 min south - visit Tampa Zoo, Tampa Aquarium, take a cruise, Ybor City, festivals and of course east of Dunnellon is Disney World, Universal Studios, Epcot and the beaches of Daytona, New Symrna and Flagler.

We have boat docks in the community and allow you to bring your boat if it is a small one that can fit into our docks. Please contact me to find out what size and availability. You can fish off our dock with a FL fishing license of course. Dunnellon is the headwaters of the Rainbow river with its crystal clear water and 71 degrees all year long! Currently in order to tube down the river you must sign up for a reservation for the park and there is a drive service to drop you off and pick you up at the end of your trip. KP hole is open for everyone to drop in and flow down to Swampy's on the river at the junction of the Withlacoochee river. There is plenty to see and due - especially for snowbirds with the manatees wintering from November to March in Crystal River which is 30 minutes away. You can snorkel with them and enjoy the chunky mermaids. There are many choices for food in Dunnellon as well. If you are an equestrian or have one in the family then the World Equestrian Center is 30 minutes away in Ocala, the horse capital of the world. There is plenty to do and see in Ocala horse and non-horse related.

Jordan M.Peaceful Florida oasis – loved our July–August stay
We spent July and August in this apartment at The Landings in Dunnellon and it was exactly the relaxing Florida retreat we needed.The balcony view is the highlight. You look out over a quiet spot on the Withlacoochee framed by tall palms, Spanish-moss-draped trees, and thick greenery. Mornings with coffee and evenings just sitting out there watching the light change were some of the best parts of the stay. It feels tucked away in nature even though you’re right in the community.The pool area is equally nice. The kidney-shaped pool stays inviting, the spa is a great add-on after a hot day, and there are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is a public use charcoal BBQ as well. Everything was clean and well-kept the whole time we were there.Inside, the apartment worked really well for a longer stay. The bedroom has an impressive amount of built-in storage, the bed was comfortable, and having laundry right there was incredibly convenient.A real bonus was the kayak storage and the easy launch spot right into the Withlacoochee River. Rainbow River is also just nearby, so we had two beautiful rivers to paddle whenever we wanted.Overall it was quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by that classic Florida landscape. We’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful, tropical-feeling spot in Dunnellon.
