Fisherman’s Cove, Siesta Key, is adjacent to Turtle Beach with picnic area, grills and boat ramp. You will drive through Turtle Beach Park to our gated community – leaving the traffic behind. Our south end of Siesta Key is known as the quieter end of the island and has a laid-back feel. The action on the northern end is available via free trolley service or thru one of the free ride services that work for tips. We will send you a Guide Book before your arrival. While you are here, you will want to visit Siesta Key Public Beach and put your toes in the world famous white sand which consists of 99% pure quartz, ultimately derived from the southern Appalachians. Over millennia, rivers carried the grains of sand into the Gulf of Mexico and south along Florida’s coast. Those quartz grains are fine, without any coral or shell fragments, which results in sand with a soft, flour-like texture.
Sarasota is known as the Cultural Center of Florida with many live theaters and art galleries. Definitely worth a visit is the Ringling Campus with the State Art Museum of Florida, the Circus Museum and Ca’ d’Zan Mansion on Sarasota Bay. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is another very special attraction in Sarasota for both adults and children.
Thank you for looking at our photos and reviews! We look forward to welcoming you!

Area Information
Siesta Key is 7-8 miles long. Siesta Key used to terminate at Blind Pass just south Fisherman’s Cove as Blind Pass separated Casey Key from Siesta Key. However, at some time, someone filled in Blind Pass so you can actually walk (no road) across the Blind Pass area now from Siesta Key onto Casey Key. Our Condo is on the top floor (3rd floor, we are not a high rise), so no one can be above you and the views of the beach and the Gulf are terrific from our Lanai. We are in close proximity to the elevator/stairs which provides the entry from the parking lot (exclusive assigned parking space) and the entry to the beach and we are a short walk to the heated pool.
Our HOA and our insurance require minimum 7 day rentals. Our guest rentals commence at 4:00 PM on the beginning Saturday and conclude at 9:00 AM on the departing Saturday and we cannot rent for partial weeks. In order to maintain the highest standards for our Condo, we do not permit smoking or pets in our Condo or more than 4 occupants.
Favorite Places To Eat
Restaurants
Here are my recommendations for restaurants:
1. Michael’s on East, 1212 East Avenue South (go north on US #41, turn right on Bahia Vista for 1 block and then right on East Street), Sarasota, FL, ,
This is my favorite because it is a 5- star restaurant that is locally owned and is not a chain. It has a piano and provides you some space so you do not feel crowded.
2. Ophelias On the Bay, 9105 Midnight Pass Rd (1/2 mile south of Turtle Beach Road), Sarasota, FL 34242, /. This is a famous gourmet restaurant with a fabulous Sunday brunch.
3. The Table, 5365 S Tamiami Trail (about 1.5 miles north of Stickney Point on US #41 at Phillippi Creek, look down on the right), Sarasota, FL 34231, , Fabulous happy hour, fabulous food, but tables are close to each other.
4 Turtles on the Bay, just on the other side of Midnight Pass Road. , . Karen eats there every time she visits the condo.
5. Crows Nest on the south Venice Jetty in Venice. . . 1968 Tarpon Center Dr, Venice, FL 34285.
6. Sharkys, 1600 Harbor Drive on the Gulf next to the Venice Airport. and . (500+ seats). Sharkys has 2 restaurants: Fins for “fine dining” and Sharkys as a regular Florida seafood restaurant.
7. Cassariano, 313 West Venice Avenue in downtown Venice . This is Karen’s favorite Italian restaurant.
8. Clayton’s Siesta Grille, 1256 Old Stickney Point Road (the road just before the Stickney Point bridge road), Sarasota, FL 34242, ; this is a favorite breakfast grill.
9. Walts Fish Market, 4144 South Tamiami Trail (US #41 just south of Bee Ridge Road), Sarasota 34231, ; very fresh seafood market and seafood restaurant. /home.html
Unique Benefits
We are the closest condo building to the Gulf of Mexico on Siesta Key. Our condo sits directly on the beach and is direct oceanfront (Gulf-front). Unfortunately, there are a number of Siesta Key condos and villas that claim to be beachfront / oceanfront that are not. We encourage you to ask pointed questions to insure you get what you expect.
We are on a VERY narrow strip of sand - the Gulf of Mexico is only about 70 feet from our lanai and master bedroom window, and the bay inlet is a similar distance from our east balcony and guest bedroom window.
Manatees love to play in the bay to the east side of our condo. You'll frequently see dolphins jumping and Manatees swimming in the Gulf.
Our guests have free use of our boat docks and storage rack for kayaks, canoes and paddleboards.
You can walk for literally miles on our beach where you'll find the best shelling on Siesta Key.
Why Kids Love It
In the Siesta Key Vacation Guide that we provide all of our guests you'll find numerous activities for families with kids. We provide boogie boards/skim boards, kids' surfboard, beach toys, bucket ball, a beach cart, fishing equipment, snorkeling gear and more!
Prime Siesta Key Location
Fisherman’s Cove is often considered one of Siesta Key’s best kept secrets—quiet, uncrowded, and wonderfully peaceful. On south Siesta Key at Turtle Beach, you enter through a park area. You’re within walking distance of two restaurants, or you can hop on the trolley for an easy ride to Siesta Village or Crescent Beach, where you’ll find charming shops and dining options.
While you may never want to leave the island, nearby Sarasota offers a rich cultural scene, including opera, ballet, orchestras, the world renowned Ringling Museum, the Nathan Benderson Rowing Facility, and exceptional birdwatching at Celery Fields.
Turtle Beach Park with boat ramps, kayak & paddleboard rentals, and a playground. Walk to Turtles Restaurant or Ophelia's - or take the free trolley or free ride services anywhere on the island or even to downtown Sarasota.
Our Guidebook will be sent before your arrival.
