Located in Manatee County, Holmes Beach is the largest of three Island communities on Anna Maria Island, which is found on the Gulf of Mexico just south of the mouth of Tampa Bay.
Bordered on the north by Anna Maria and on the south by Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach boasts three miles of gorgeous white, sandy beaches. The city also offers easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway which traverses Anna Maria Sound.
The COVE AT SANDY POINTE community is in the heart of Homes Beach, where the beach is only a 4 minute stroll away.

About the owner: I am a retiree from Germany, married to a danish guy and we both are living in Ontario Canada. When we first came to the island in 1996, we immediately fell in love with this piece of paradise. And we still love it more and more.
Why this property? The location is great: in walking distance to the beach, the supermarket and other small shops and restaurants. The free-of-charge island trolley stop is just around the corner. Secluded area, no through-traffic, and the south-facing balcony protect from the north wind in winter. Great location for snowbirds.

This condo was the PERFECT place for our family of three to enjoy Anna Maria Island! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Carla was a wonderful host who was very accommodating and gracious to us. We hopefully will stay here again in the future!

Our stay could not have been nicer! The condo had all the amenities one needs, for a lovely, sunny, close to the beach vacation, and has a pool! It was within walking distance to everything one would need while there and if not take the Free Trolley on the Island! I would highly recommend this unit to anyone…Thanks!

The condo has everything you could possibly need. Carla and her husband were wonderful to work with, as was the local rental agency that managed the condo. We called for a minor issue - but they came immediately and fixed it, even though we told them it could wait until we checked out. Great service!This place is perfect for families to honeymooners. It is an easy walk to Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island - we loved walking over to watch the fireworks on July 4th. The view from the lanai is very peaceful and beautiful. Although the pool is a short walk, it is a wonderful pool with more than adequate furniture for sunbathing.We cooked meals as well as experienced some of the wonderful food at some area restaurants. There were plenty of cooking pans and utensils to cook a full meal!Don't miss out on a wonderful vacation property just because it is not directly on the beach. We loved every minute and would stay again in a heartbeat!
