Since our 1st vacation in 1995 we have dreamed of owning a home in Florida.
After many years of deliberation, we decided in 2019 to make this dream a reality. After an exciting construction phase, the house was completed in August of 2020.
Villa Philippa is build on a lot of over 10000 square feet in a very quiet residential area in Rotonda/ Englewood located directly on a wide canal.
Having a car is essential in the area. Shops are only a few minutes away. You can find valuable tips in our house brochure.

We planned and furnished the house to serve our own needs and desires as we do spend several weeks in Florida every year. The living space is approx. 1950 square feet and the house is well insulated and sturdy.
The individual rooms are furnished with great enthusiasm and attention to detail.
All paintings in the house were done by me.

Airy & open, the living area

The house welcomes you with an open living area. Here you will find the living room, a dining area with a beautiful view of the lanai and a modern fully equipped kitchen.

A huge kitchen island with a granite top invites you to linger and chat. Prepare a smoothie with ice from the ice maker in the refrigerator or just use it to cool the drinks.
A microwave is also available.

After we did spent many years in different houses, it was very important to us to make sure that all guests have large rooms. Especially when friends are in, everyone can enjoy a comfortable bedroom.

Our Villa Philippa has 3 similar sized bedrooms.
The master suite is equipped with a king-size bed, a large walk-in closet and a separate toilet. In the bathroom you will find 2 washbasins on opposite sides with granite tops and a very large walk-in shower with a large bench. From this bedroom you have direct access to the pool area.

The other two bedrooms are almost the same size and are also equipped with a built-in wardrobe. One has a king-size bed and the other has a queen-size bed.
They share a bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and access to the pool.
One bedroom has direct access to the pool area.

Other things to note
Booking party must be age 25+, and must be present at the home for the duration of the stay.
No one under the age of 21 will be permitted on the property without their parent or legal guardian unless previously agreed upon in writing.
Violation is grounds for removal from property without refund.

CLEANING & SANITIZATION
Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

NO PETS ALLOWED
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable for accommodating them, owners are allergic. Sorry about that.

NO SMOKING INSIDE
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning.

NO PARTIES/EVENTS
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
