DOG-FRIENDLY UNIT
This unit welcomes pets—specifically dogs, weighing less than 30 pounds—with a nonrefundable pet fee of $100 per pet (plus tax). Additionally, Sandpiper Cove collects a $10 fee per pet on-site. Up-to-date shot records are required at check-in. While dogs are allowed in the community, they are not permitted on the beach. Please note that no beaches in Destin or Okaloosa County are pet-friendly.
The registered guest assumes full responsibility for any pet-related damages or additional cleaning required. Pets, except for service animals, are strictly prohibited in non-pet-friendly units. By bringing a pet, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Only domesticated dogs or cats are allowed.
Your pet must be up to date on all vaccinations (records will be checked at the gate).
Pets cannot enter non-pet-friendly units under any circumstances.
No unattended pets are allowed outside.
Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste properly.
Pets must be leashed at all times unless the unit has a fenced yard.
Pets must not cause nuisance or hazards to others.
Pets must not have a history of aggressive behavior.
Owners assume full responsibility for their pet’s actions and well-being.

Please note:
-This condo is on the first floor; however, please note that there are four steps with a slight declining hill required to access the unit. There is no elevator available.
-YOU MUST BE 25 YRS OR OLDER AND STAY TO BOOK!!!!!!!
-If the primary guest will not be present at check-in, at least one guest must be 25 years old or older to check-in. Please inform your host in advance so we can notify the gate and ensure proper access for your group.
-We do not hold keys to mailbox units and cannot guarantee the delivery of packages or mail during your stay. We highly recommend not sending mail or packages to the property.
-Each condominium is allocated only two parking spaces and two parking passes per unit. There is no assigned parking.
-To secure a boat dock space, please visit the Sandpiper Cove website and submit a request. Please note that there is a fee for renting dock space. Please be aware that trailers or boats cannot be parked inside Sandpiper Cove. For trailer, boat, or jet ski parking arrangements, we recommend contacting facilities in the Destin, FL area.
-Sandpiper Cove is gated with 24 hour Security Guards for your protection.
-NO SMOKING is permitted inside the condo or on the balcony. Any violations will result in charges, automatic eviction, and forfeiture of refund.
You will receive a door code via email within 48 hours of check-in, ensuring a contactless and convenient check-in experience.
Arrive by car or plane. If arriving by plane, your closest airport is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS). The nearest private airport is Destin Executive Airport (DTS). Uber or Lyft are the best options for transportation to resort if you are flying.

TiffanyWe had an amazing time staying at Sandpiper Cove! It is perfectly located- close to all attractions, yet still quiet and private. The host was extremely responsive and answered all questions quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

RachelUnfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, there was a foul odor from the dishwasher, which was full of nasty stagnant water and would not drain. Maintenance came twice and ultimately said it needed replaced. During the second visit, he told us the water had most definitely been sitting there for at least a week. This was especially concerning because the host told me the condo owner had stayed there immediately before us. We also found a dead fish on the kitchen floor that I stepped on, and the bedding had hair on it and did not appear freshly changed, so I washed it myself. We also received no notice before the first maintenance visit and were asleep when he arrived banging on the door. We promptly documented and reported these issues. After spending around $1,700, management’s response felt like a generic apology with only $100 compensation. For the price, we expected much better cleanliness, communication and accountability. Will NOT be staying here again

BreannaThis condo was perfect for our family of 3. It was clean and ready before check in time of 4pm. There were extra amenities I didn’t expect like dish soap, hand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, laundry pods, etc. which was nice. The washer and dryer was a 2-in-1 wash and dry which took some figuring out but worked for the little things we needed to wash. Overall it was a great place and we would stay here again!

Christina L.We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cove. We were able to be right on the canal and dock our jet ski’s. There is a fee to do that but it’s so worth it. Your minutes from Crab Island the boardwalk which has shops and restaurants. Short walk to their PRIVATE beach. It’s had a bar called Sand Flea on the water and a Louisiana style restaurant on site as well. Our room was clean and the decor was so cute. Pools are all over the property, golf. So many things to keep you and your family busy. Heather and her team makes it so easy to check in. It was the perfect spot! Hot water, comfy bed, well stocked kitchen etc. The patio is right on the water too so you have have coffee, glass of wine or dinner while the sun goes down. We will be back.

Robert W.Host was very accommodating for any of our needs, and friendly. Unit smelled very clean upon arrival. Did find one hair in the bed, and the accent couch pillows did have some dog hair on them from previous stays , but kind of to be expected to some extent with a pet friendly unit. We just didn’t use those cushions and used covers on the furniture, problem solved!*Disclaimer to those who value privacy: The only drawback with the unit itself was that there was absolutely no privacy on the back deck. Walking paths along the side and back of the unit allow anyone to walk freely around you , and the unit is directly adjacent to the 8th green of the golf course . You are within an arms reach off of the deck to people that are on the green playing. Since there is no solid privacy fence on that side of the deck, you are constantly within view of players if you are sitting on the deck.not exactly relaxing constantly having a group of strangers staring at you while standing on the green waiting for their shot. Overall, we feel like the unit was a good value for the price , just probably not the greatest fit for singles or couples who really enjoy a quiet relaxing patio. Save it for night time.

BrianWe stayed March 29th-April 4,2026. Unit was exactly as listed. Clean and neat. Was slightly concerned it was a pet friendly unit. Heather assured they are very thorough in cleaning the space. Didn’t smell like animals at all. Everything worked perfectly for us. One thing we loved was the unit sits directly on a saltwater canal. We caught several species of fish from flounder to puffer fish. Even caught a stingray. Had a blast and highly recommend
