PET-FRIENDLY UNIT
This unit welcomes pets—specifically dogs and cats weighing less than 30 pounds—with a nonrefundable pet fee of $100 per pet (plus tax). Additionally, Sandpiper Cove collects a $10 fee per pet on-site. Up-to-date shot records are required at check-in. While pets are allowed in the community, they are not permitted on the beach. Please note that no beaches in Destin or Okaloosa County are pet-friendly.

--This condo is on the first floor; however, please note that there are 8 stair steps required to access the unit. There is no elevator available.

-If the primary guest will not be present at check-in, at least one guest must be 25 years old or older to check-in. Please inform your host in advance so we can notify the gate and ensure proper access for your group.
-We do not hold keys to mailbox units and cannot guarantee the delivery of packages or mail during your stay. We highly recommend not sending mail or packages to the property.
-Each condominium is allocated only two parking spaces and two parking passes per unit. There is no assigned parking.
-To secure a boat dock space, please visit the Sandpiper Cove website and submit a request. Please note that there is a fee for renting dock space. Please be aware that trailers or boats cannot be parked inside Sandpiper Cove. For trailer, boat, or jet ski parking arrangements, we recommend contacting facilities in the Destin, FL area.
-Sandpiper Cove is gated with 24 hour Security Guards for your protection.
-NO SMOKING PERMITTED inside the condo or on the balcony. Any violations will result in charges, automatic eviction, and forfeiture of refund.

KimberlyPositive: I love Sand piper cove,I've been coming here for 6 years.I always bring my dogs with me.I have stayed in different units,never a problem.This unit says its pet friendly,its not.We were threatened with eviction because they barked.Dogs bark,and no it wasn't constant.Ill be back, but not this unit.

MadilynWe loved our stay here. Everything matched the description and our host was very responsive to any questions we had. During our stay, there were also some weather concerns and our host was prompt to message us regarding what was happening and recommendations to ensure our safety. Considering we were traveling with two young children, this was a huge blessing! The size of the place was perfect for a little family and the pool was a short walk across the courtyard. The beach access was simple along with getting an umbrella and chairs which was a HUGE perk! Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely be back.

JoannWe absolutely LOVED Heather's place! We have stayed a lot of places all over Florida. Destin became our favorite! This was our 2nd time to Destin, but our first time staying in Sandpiper Cove. We will never stay anywhere else! This is our new spot! It was clean, a perfect location, and she was very responsive! We already booked another stay for next year. We definitely will be returning!

SusanHeather’s place was perfect place for my husband and toddler. Location was great. We used the pool a few times. Also visited the restaurant onsite which was good! We used the pickle and tennis courts with the rackets provided. Only bad thing i can say is it was unfortunate the private beach was closed for most of our stay due to dredging of the sand but this was out of Heather’s control. She communicated well giving us updates and we were able to enjoy the beach chair/umbrella service our last day. Also, i didn’t find the bed comfortable. Too soft for my liking and very squeaky. Otherwise great stay!

VickiGreat winter stay, Jan/Feb. Updated unit, great shower! Can’t recommend enough a unit with washer/dryer, this had full size stack, such a plus especially in a studio apartment. The larger (highly recommend unit with larger space) back deck is where I spent my time, south facing so sunshine up to 3:30, also a huge plus for north FL winter temps, and updated patio furniture. Had already decided and reserved for 2027 winter but decided to move to FL!

HalleOur experience at Heather’s was great!! The condo is near the front of the community, which made walking across the street to the beach super easy. We stopped at the Sand Flea restaurant/bar right across the street (which had some great food and great prices!!) after spending some time on the beach. Also a walkable distance to Louisiana Lagniappe, which we personally were underwhelmed with, but it was a great experience. There was a pool available for use as well within the community; though we did not use it at our stay. The condo was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great stay in a quiet little condo community with ample amenities! As close as you can get to the beach without paying the beach front costs.

Sherry J.Our stay was excellent! The beach chairs/umbrella being included made it even better. I would recommend a more comfortable firmer mattress. The bed and pull out bed both make noises when you turn over, making it very easy to wake the other person up. Overall, we loved it!

MarcieNice place. The furniture and deck could maybe use a bit of updating but that certainly didn’t affect our enjoyment of the unit. The beach was very close and there was a fun beach bar right on site. The beach service was awesome. All we had to do was give our name and room number and they quickly found us chairs and umbrella.

KariWe had a great week! The studio was great for 2 adults. The deck is nice and overlooks the pool. We got in Friday night and noticed that the beach towels were missing. Heather was very responsive and the towels were dropped off early Saturday morning. We loved that the beach set up was included. We would definitely stay again.

LisaOur stay at Sandpiper Cove was absolutely fabulous!! We booked in October for the Springtime Jubilee Conferences 2025 at DFWB Convention Center! The unit was super clean and inviting! It was perfect for the two of us - might be tight for four - could be perfect for a couple and two littles. We did not use the pool or the beach access, so I cannot comment on that. If you go, you need to take extra toilet paper and trash bags - the front office does not supply these. Heather, our host, was more than accommodating to bring us extra supplies, but she was out of town. The only reason for any less than 5 stars is there were only thin white curtains over the sliding glass doors which felt a little weird at night. LOLThank you Heather for an amazint experience! MarkLiving in Destin at Sandpiper Cove for a year was a great place to start retirement. Everything is very close to the condo with 100's of restaurants, shopping and the beach. Sandpiper Cove has many internal activities, pools galore, Tennis, Pickleball, Golf and did I mention the BEACH! Heather made the stay so much easier and stress free. Her staff was always available and willing to help. Kudos to Heather and a big Thank You!!!
