This unit welcomes pets—specifically dogs and cats weighing less than 30 pounds—with a nonrefundable pet fee of $100 per pet (plus tax). Additionally, Sandpiper Cove collects a $10 fee per pet on-site. Up-to-date shot records are required at check-in. While pets are allowed in the community, they are not permitted on the beach. Please note that no beaches in Destin or Okaloosa County are pet-friendly.

-This condo is located on the second floor and does require the use of stairs. There is no elevator available in the building.

If the primary guest will not be present at check-in, at least one guest must be 25 years old or older to check-in. Please inform your host in advance so we can notify the gate and ensure proper access for your group.
-Each condominium is allocated only two parking spaces and two parking passes per unit. There is no assigned parking.
-Beach Service is available from 1st of March until the 31st of October only.
-To secure a boat dock space, please visit the Sandpiper Cove website and submit a request. Please note that there is a fee for renting dock space. Please be aware that trailers or boats cannot be parked inside Sandpiper Cove. For trailer, boat, or jet ski parking arrangements, we recommend contacting facilities in the Destin, FL area.
-Sandpiper Cove is gated with 24 hour Security Guards for your protection.

Jane K.Awesome condo and three weeks stay!! Truly looked just like the photos (except no dog and no longer a grill (hahaha)...but not a problem!!!!) Honestly, the condo was immaculate and the amenities outstanding! Did not want for anything! Fabulous view from the balcony and easy access to the beautiful white sands and the shore. Comfy bed and couch and plush towels. Grocery stores, restaurants and tons of activities within minutes! Thoroughly enjoyed the Local Market (eatery) and La Paz Mexican restaurant right next door! Heather, you are amazing! Thank you sooo very much for being so responsive, friendly and informative. I hope to be back next Winter with my boy kitties, Jack and Simon. Lora B.The condo was very well maintained. Loved the beach access and closeness to the beach. Property Manager was very responsive to our questions. Being able to bring our dog was definitely a positive. My only comment was that there wasn’t a lot of places to walk him. Also, We didn’t realize that the 2 restaurants on the property would be closed for the season. But not a really big deal. We would definitely recommend this condo.

BeckyWe’ve been coming to Sandpiper Cove for 10 years, and Unit 2150 was one of our favorite stays yet! The beach view is amazing, and the unit was clean, comfy, had everything we needed and perfectly located just steps from the sand. We spent the 4th of July here and the fireworks on the beach were unforgettable!Our host, Heather, was wonderful—always available and quick to respond if we needed anything. It made the stay feel even more relaxing knowing we were in good hands.The complex is peaceful but festive, especially during the holidays, and we always feel right at home. Some of our favorite nearby restaurants are Boshamps, The Back Porch, and The Crab Trap—highly recommend all three!

JimCondo was clean and as described and the deck had a great view of the gulf. It was nice being off to the side of the complex and having a separate beach entrance since other guests that stayed in condos across the street rarely walked down so it was less crowded.

ShaunCheck-in was easy, and the host was very responsive before our arrival. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The beds were especially comfortable.A couple of things to note: we didn’t know our dog needed shot records to get in, and that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach. These details might be in the fine print, but it would be helpful if they were clearly stated upfront. Thankfully, security still let us in, but if we had been denied, I'm not sure what we would've done because we drove over 12 hours to get there.The only issue we had inside was the toaster, one side didn’t work, and the heating coils looked damagedThe location is excellent, and having a reserved beach spot each day was a big plus. Just be aware that most places in Destin charge for parking, even restaurants. It’s something to factor into your budget, as it usually adds an extra $15–$20 per outing.Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

Lisa R.This an older community but a good location to be in Destin. I chose this property because I’ve stayed a few times prior and enjoy the proximity to restaurants and shopping and the one we stayed in is pet friendly. The only negative I have is the stairs to most of these condos may possibly be warped and uneven due to the environment. Of course this nothing you can know when booking, just be aware. It was Thanksgiving week, the weather was beautiful just very chilly. We had a great time eating and checking out all our old favorites in the area and look forward to returning.

KarliThe condo was so clean and everything was perfect! Heather was so quick and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back! The only thing I would recommend is to have quicker access to walk around the building to the sand. But it really was easy and perfect! We especially love that it came with beach service so we didn't have to bother with chairs!

MeredithGreat beach rental! Stayed with our two little kids (toddler and infant) and couldn’t have asked for better location and views for our relaxing vaca. Close proximity to beach, coffee shop, restaurants, target, grocery store. The unit is a two bedroom, but there are two full baths (one right off the kitchen, separate from the bedrooms) so we used one of the bathrooms for our infants pack and play and could still access the second bath while he slept - worked out so perfectly. KangHeather was friendly and quick to respond to our needs. The room offered a wonderful view of the beach. However, the second room's bunk beds felt somewhat unstable; another bed would have been preferable over bunk beds. And parking situation could have been controlled better as guests from the other side of Sandpiper that decided not to walk depending on the hours would take up parking spaces in the area. Overall, the location and ease of access to the beach was excellent.

AdamOur family absolutely loved staying here. The location of being right on the beach made it that much more special. The beach chair service is a great touch. We watched lots of dolphins go by while sitting on the patio as well as on the beach. The waves are very fun to play in and overall as a family with a 7&10 y/o felt safe in the water. We enjoyed walking the beach and building in the sand. The condo was spotless, felt and smelt super clean. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. There is a fantastic higher end restaurant on the property. Great place to get dressed up and watch the sunset. We enjoyed walking our dog down the Main Street and admiring the scenery. Restaurants, souvenir shops and groceries a quick 2 min drive. Heathers place nailed it with the decor inside and the view outside. This place did not disappoint and surpassed all expectations!

Decor and condo was updated and comfortable. The only thing to note it the condo is upstairs with 25 stairs so it could be difficult for ppl with mobility issues.

The beach is pristine and the water is crystal clear. The kitchen is fully equipped, even had a rice cooker. Unit was easy to access, felt safe, and the amenities of the resort were nice; my husband got to utilize the free golf for almost every day of our trip. We also really appreciated the access to the complimentary beach service with two chairs and an umbrella available to us daily. The communication with the host was quick and easy. LoriWe loved this condo at Sandpiper Cove! We have been coming here for 37 years and this condo was among our favorites. Fully stocked Clean(found a few popcorn kernels in the couch when we were searching for phone in bt cushions but its a crisp clean place to stay!) Views stunning including a storm that came through. The waves were insane AND beautiful. We cooked daily here and had everything we needed. We appreciated the poker set and learned Texas Hold'em poker over drinks using Chubbies Distillery Pineapple Rum:) Bed was comfy and leaving curtains open to views a huge bonus. Boshamps restaurant is open to pups out on their deck and our pup was happy at the condo. He loved the sand! Pups not allowed on beach but the sandy area around condo he had a ball in. Dog stations for cleaning up after doing business right nearby- Keepin' it sanitary! Will hopefully come back sooner than later!
