Expect to see water crafts of all sorts moving along the Inter Coastal Waterway. You will see all kinds of local birds like Brown Pelicans, Ospreys, Swallow-Tailed Kites, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Ibis, Frigates and Sand Hill Cranes who are often found walking up the driveway and in the back yard.
Watch for dolphins swimming and playing out front and occasionally a manatee will slowly swim by.
The Savannas Preserve State Park (1.5 miles), National Navy UDT SEAL Museum, St Lucie County Aquarium, Children Museum of the Treasure Coast, Heathcote Botanical Gardens and The Mansion at Tuckahoe are some of the family attractions near by.

Our in-season booking and cancellation policy is as follows:
(Stays between December 1-April 30)
A 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation.
The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Full refund if canceled more than 60 days before check-in.
50% refund if canceled between 60 and 45 days before check-in.
No refund if canceled within 45 days of arrival.
Our out-of-season booking and cancellation policy is as follows: (Stays between May 1-November 30)
A 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation.
The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Full refund if canceled more than 30 days before check-in.
50% refund if canceled between 29 and 7 days before check-in.

Other things to note:
Septic system, please do not flush anything except toilet paper.
Due to the septic system, there is no garbage disposal. Please do not put any food down the drain in the sink.
No parking in the grass due to sprinklers along the driveway.

I had a wonderful stay at Susannah Riverside Apartment from August through October 2025. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The apartment had been newly renovated and was beautifully furnished - comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. It was the perfect space for me and my small dog, Manny. One of my favorite features was the lovely water view, which made mornings especially peaceful. The location itself was quiet and relaxing, exactly what I was looking for. The property owners were incredibly attentive, responsive, and kind throughout my stay. They made sure everything was comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I truly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and can't wait to return again soon. Highly recommend!

We stay 8 weeks at this beautiful vintage home. This is our second year. Communications could not be better, and if anything needs done, it’s done immediately. The views of the Indian River are seen from various rooms in the house, and the front porch is one of the main features. Hope to return
