Kick back and relax in this calm, peaceful space located off the Indian River Lagoon in the historic Susannah pioneer settlement four miles south of Forth Pierce and 12 miles north of Jensen Beach, Florida.
Enjoy afternoon breezes, sunsets over the trees out back and beautiful sunrises on the river out in front of the main house.
Quaint Mid-Century two bedroom cottage located on Indian River Lagoon. Completely renovated with brand new kitchen and bathroom. There is a grill and outdoor seating for enjoying the sunsets behind the property.
There is a covered parking place in back of the cottage with one space and additional parking if needed on driveway.
Up to six bedrooms are available on Susannah River House property, ask about combinations if you need more room.
3BR/2BA House, 2BR/1BA Cottage and 1BR/1BA Apartment on over 2 acres.
Guests have shared access to the front and back yards. Two grills are available and common laundry facilities with the two other units.

Expect to see water crafts of all sorts moving along the Inter Coastal Waterway. You will see all kinds of local birds like Brown Pelicans, Ospreys, Swallow-Tailed Kites, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Ibis, Frigates and Sand Hill Cranes who are often found walking up the driveway and in the back yard.
Watch for dolphins swimming and playing out front and occasionally a manatee will slowly swim by.
The Savannas Preserve State Park (1.5 miles), National Navy UDT SEAL Museum, St Lucie County Aquarium, Children Museum of the Treasure Coast, Heathcote Botanical Gardens and The Mansion at Tuckahoe are some of the family attractions near by.
Try out the Gator Trace Golf and Country Club and the Indian Hills Golf Course while you’re here, Gator Trace is just six minutes away from the house. We enjoy a coastal living lifestyle in Fort Pierce with water everywhere for boating, fishing, outdoor and beach activities available.
If shopping is your passion, Port Saint Lucie is just minutes away and the famous Palm Beach Mall is about an hour to the south.

Our in-season booking and cancellation policy is as follows:

A 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation.
The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Full refund if canceled more than 60 days before check-in.
50% refund if canceled between 60 and 45 days before check-in.
No refund if canceled within 45 days of arrival.
Our out-of-season booking and cancellation policy is as follows: (Stays between May 1-November 30)
A 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation.
The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Full refund if canceled more than 30 days before check-in.
50% refund if canceled between 29 and 7 days before check-in.

Other things to note:
Septic system, please do not flush anything except toilet paper.
Due to the septic system, there is no garbage disposal. Please do not put any food down the drain in the sink.
No parking in the grass due to sprinklers along the driveway.

Savanah River Cottage is absolutely adorable, from the magnificent view of the Indian River to the hair raising whirr of the trains Very well appointed and clean as a pin. A very large backyard for my dog to chase the ball, Jax loves it. The host is attentive, answers every call and fulfills every request Beautiful place , really really enjoyed my stay again this year. Great attention to every detail in this beautiful gem of a cottage! This is a lovely appointed place with a comfortable main bedroom and an additional twin room that delights the senses. Lovely artwork and soft furnishings. The furniture was comfortable, teak beautiful. Our family enjoyed sitting outside/inside and playing games through the passthrough while watching a football game on television! Fun for all! Quiet location and private. Kitchen provided all of our needs to prepare meals.We will return! Thank you, Rubins!
