Waterfront Paradise:
Located on a Gulf-access canal, this cottage offers quick boating access to world-class fishing and the open waters of Pine Island Sound. Step outside to your private dock, perfect for tying up your boat after a day on the water. There’s ample space for boat-trailer parking, and for extended stays, guests may request access to the boat lift (owner approval required). The public boat ramp is within walking distance from the home.
Outdoor Living:
Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, the property feels like a secluded island oasis. Sip morning coffee by the water, cast a line from the dock, or take a leisurely ride around Matlacha using the owner-provided bicycles. After a day of fishing, you can clean your catch at the cleaning station along the dock, and if you bring kayak, you'll appreciate the stairs down to the water to help you launch off the sea wall.
A gas grill is provided, the purchase of propane, if needed, is the responsibility of the guest.

You’ll be in the heart of Matlacha—famous for its quirky art galleries, waterfront restaurants, live music, and slow-paced Old Florida charm. Explore nearby islands, paddle mangrove tunnels, or look toward the west and watch the sunset paint the skies over the pass. Accessible only by boat are the exquisite beaches of Cayo Costa State Park, a great boat ride from the cottage.
If you choose to venture out during your stay, you will find a world of recreational, cultural, dining and shopping experiences in Southwest Florida. You'll be just a short drive from Cape Coral, Fort Myers, the stunning Gulf beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, or Fort Myers Beach. A slightly further drive south will have you in Bonita Springs or Naples, where world-class dining, shopping, and lifestyles await you - to the north, Charlotte Harbour, Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. Seasonally you can enjoy the Spring Training facilities of the Red Sox or the Twins, and of course year round golf, nature, and cultural activities as well.
