Watch the dolphins or fish from the new pier and experience the spectacular sunsets on the beach. Madeira Beach Yacht Club is a private, gated facility. The property has a clubhouse with a small, well-equipped gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, showers, and billiards room. It also has two outdoor heated swimming pools, lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables and benches and several fishing piers.
The perfect location of this unit is close to both swimming pools; just across the road to Archibald park beach. Winn-Dixie liquor store, brand new CVS drugstore, and the U.S. Post Office. The Gulf Beaches Library is also across the street. Great rainy-day option, you can obtain a temporary membership and check books out. We are adjacent to the new R.O.C. park - tennis, basketball, baseball sports & event field, and paved walkways that edge Boca Ciega Bay. There is even a splash pad playground for the younger kids. Perfect for early morning & afternoon; evening strolls and sunset views.
Madeira Beach Yacht Club is located just west of St. Petersburg and has 2.5 miles of gorgeous beaches and sparkling Gulf of Mexico waters. Legend says that a pirate named John Le Vique was the first European to 'settle' the Madeira Beach area. It is best known for the 1,100-foot boardwalk along the Intercoastal Waterway named John's Pass Village and Boardwalk.
John's Pass is a collection of shops and restaurants in an old-style fishing village setting. Here you can pass the time watching pelicans dive for fish, watch dolphins swim and play, shop till your heart's content, or simply relax and enjoy all the amazing food and drink! Fishing is the primary sports activity, but you can also rent a jet ski, take a pirate cruise or go on a sunset dolphin cruise. John H.Great location is the key
The condo we rented was adequately stocked - beautiful boats in view from the outside sitting area. This is a great walking area with a beautiful park (fishing piers, dog park), the public library with items/activities available, and shopping for necessities all just a short walk and you can get to the Gulf of America within 10 minutes walking Also within walking distance there is a weekly Madeira Way Market and some restaurant/bars - one being a rooftop to watch the great sunsets! The owner was available to contact with questions/inquiries about TV/WIFI and give advice - very helpful and a great plus!!
