About the Property
LOCATION: Sand Castle I is located mid-way between Clearwater Beach and St. Petersburg Beach in the city of Indian Shores, about 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, 90 minutes from Orlando and about 10 miles west of I-275.
ACCOMODATIONS: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6) and under the building parking.
ABOUT THE CONDO: Our condo at Sand Castle I is a direct Gulf-front condo with great views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico from our 3rd floor balcony. Watch the beach and sunsets from the large 23 foot balcony with sliding glass doors from the living room and master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size and a single bed. The den has a queen sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms and the living room have flat screen TVs, basic cable service and DVD players. The living room has a small stereo system with a CD player. The unit has wi-fi internet service. The kitchen and both bathrooms have been remodeled and the unit is freshly painted and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, cooking utensils and dishes. The unit is equipped with a full sized washer and dryer. The balcony is equiped with adjustable electric shutters that function as great sun shades on hot, sunny afternoons.
The Sandcastle I complex has a large beach-side pool and hot tub, a sauna and a games room with ping pong, a lending library, and free Wireless Internet service. The beachfront area has a lush tropical garden, barbeque area and picnic tables overlooking the Gulf. Each condo has designated reserved parking and the space for our condo is under the building. There is also guest parking on site.
The Suncoast Beach Trolley provides service between Clearwater Beach and St. Petersburg Beach (stops near the building) and is a convenient way to get around the beach area.

ABOUT THE AREA: Indian Shores is located on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico. The area has beautiful wide white sand beaches, and is close to golf courses, malls and other shopping and a great variety of entertainment venues. The area is home to the NFL Buccaneers, the NHL Lightning and the American League Tampa Bay Rays. Several MLB teams are in the area for Spring Training. Busch Gardens is about 45 minutes away and the multiple parks of Disney plus Sea World and Universal Studios are only about 90 minutes away. Bike, motorbike and boat rentals are available across the street. John’s Pass with charter fishing, boat rentals, water sport activities, shops and restaurants is about 5 miles down the beach. Other attractions in the immediate Tampa Bay area include Adventure Island, the Florida Aquarium, Sunken Gardens and the Lowry Park Zoo.
Nearby cities such as Sarasota, Bradenton and Tarpon Springs offer a wide variety of additional attractions.
Favorite Places To Eat
There are many excellent restaurants including Caddy's Pub just across the street, Crabby Bill’s, PJ’s Oyster Bar, Keegan's, Guppy’s and the five star Salt Rock Grill, all within a few minutes drive. These and many others offer fresh seafood and other favorites, several with water front dining.

We rent Saturday to Saturday, one week minimum.
We require an adult at least 25 years of age for each rental.
Cancellation: The reservation deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is less than 90 days prior to the
reservation start date. If the cancellation is prior to 90 days the deposit is refundable if the unit is re-rented less a $50
service fee. A reservation will be cancelled by us if no notification is received from the guest by 5 P.M. of the day
following the reservation start date.

Location was absolutely wonderful! Condo was very clean & stocked with everything you would need! We had a great time ! I would certainly love to return to this beautiful location!
This is a very nice condo, clean and beautifully decorated with everything you would need. The building, pool area and grounds are well maintained. Located directly on the beach, we watched spectacular sunsets every evening.
We will definitely return!
The enjoyable highlights of our stay were the long walks in both directions on the lovely beach, which stretches from the harbour wall at John's Pass (Madeira Beach) all the way north to Clearwater, the convenient BBQ area, where we cooked a few meals, the pub across the street for delicious meals on their patio and the access to nearby shopping areas for the evening hours.
The Condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable 7-week stay and the parking space under cover was a welcome feature. The pool and jacuzzi were a daily treat and complimented our beach walking, just yards away!
We all had a wonderful time during our stay and fully recommend this location to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday here at Indian Shores. We will certainly consider a return visit anytime we are coming back to the sunbelt in this part of Florida.
Unit 307 Exceeded our Expectations
Unit 307 is a beautiful and well equipped condo in a perfect family friendly location and close to many attractions. The beach and gulf are steps away. The ocean view from the condo is second to none with breathtaking sunsets. I do recommend SandCastle 1 getting new gas grills. Folks were walking next door to use SandCastle 2 grills.

Very Relaxing Getaway
My wife and I really enjoyed our week in this condo. The condo was very well-maintained, well-equipped, and suitably decorated. The location was quiet and very close to the beach. The immediate surrounding area is not commercial or loud, but there are ample restaurants nearby -- one across the street. When we were not out on the beach or in the pool, we spent a lot of time each day on the balcony admiring the view and the sound of the waves. Very relaxing!

Great vacation condo
Location is great; parking spot under the building great; shopping carts and luggage carts available down by the elevators very convenient; balcony with sunsets view super; we were just 3 of us and had a lot of spare room; we'll come again.
