The Space
The Oak is a ground-floor beach cottage four blocks from Jacksonville Beach — the kind of place guests book once and come back to. The private fenced backyard with its string-lit pergola is what guests mention first in reviews: morning coffee out there, rainy afternoons that turned into the best part of the trip, dogs loose in the yard while everyone else relaxes. It's a small yard that earns outsized enthusiasm.

The Location
Four blocks to the beach, restaurants, coffee, Publix, and breweries. Seven minutes to Mayo Clinic. It's the combination guests don't expect to find in one place — genuine beach access plus a neighborhood that's actually walkable, plus proximity to one of the country's top medical centers for those who need it. Whether you're here for the beach, for work, for extended stay near Mayo, or all three, the location handles it.

Sleeping & Living
Two bedrooms, both with en-suite walk-in showers and wall-mounted TVs. The primary has a king bed that converts to twins, blackout shades, a dedicated workspace, and the white noise machines guests have ordered for their own homes after staying here. The living room has French doors that open straight to the backyard — inside and outside blur into the same space.

Stocked for a Real Stay
Fully stocked kitchen with island seating. Coffee bar. Beach gear: wagon, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. Dog supplies and couch covers. Two dedicated workspaces with monitors and fast Wi-Fi — set up for a real workday, not just checking email. In-unit washer/dryer. The guests who call it 'best equipped Airbnb I've been to' aren't exaggerating — nothing is missing on arrival, whether you're here for a weekend or three weeks.

A Note on the Duplex
The Oak is the ground-floor unit of a duplex. The upstairs unit (The Palm) may be occupied during your stay, and you may occasionally hear movement overhead. White noise machines are provided — guests who are light sleepers have found them genuinely helpful. If your group is larger or you need both floors, The Palm can be booked separately and the two units booked together for the full property.
