JenWe always used to stay at a hotel right down the bay but the value for this house blew it away, it’s less expensive for the whole house than just two rooms over there! We loved the fishing off the dock and the beautiful yard. It’s a peaceful walk right over the bridge to the old town. Would love to stay longer next time.

ResaWow- Just Wow! When we walked through the front door the view out back was breathtaking! Perfect home for our family to spend a week in St. Augustine. We had the best time on the dock fishing, spending time together and making memories. Fished A-LOT! Kids saw dolphins several times. The house was beautiful. Clean - comfortable and the bed was so comfortable (I only slept in master) - I had no complaints from the rest of the family with their beds. The Proper Group was right there for any questions we had or for anything we needed. No complaints at all.We were familiar with the area as we lived there before. If you are visiting for the first time - the restaurants right there around the house are great. Some walking distance. Osteen’s and Mellow Mushroom were wonderful.Also- well worth riding the trolley. So informative and you can jump on and off all day without driving all over and paying for parking.Have fun and enjoy that view!

EdNice, clean house. Dog friendly. Awesome location! Second stay here. Could do without surveillance cameras in the backyard. Front is understandable, but back brings up privacy concerns for me.Was, unfortunately, disappointed with Proper Group this time. Somehow inexplicably got locked out on our 3rd night when the storm door locked behind us. (We weren't given a key for the other doors.) Called Proper’s answering service 3 times starting around 10:30pm. They attempted but couldn’t reach the on-call personnel.Ultimately, after waiting a couple hours, we called an after-hours emergency locksmith to let us in the keyed kitchen door at $175 cost to us. Good move as it turns out, because Proper NEVER called back. Let them know about it at checkout, and they said they’d look into it…still nothing.Otherwise, had a great time! Love St. Aug, and this location is within walking distance of downtown eateries & attractions. Just walk or bike across Bridge of Lions & no worries with parking.

BrianHouse is beautiful property management leaves to be desired Positive: I absolutely love the location. The house is very nice. The views are beautiful. Directly across the street from downtown. Negative: The property management company is horrible. I wrote them five days before check-in because the ad says you can ask about early check-in. I waited two days before I called and spoke to a horribly snotty person who said I had to wait till the day of. The day of I couldn’t get an answer, and when I called back, irritated, a male property manager was very rude and disrespectful. They stated I could check in at 3 o’clock, but then they did not unlock the door until 325. I’m assuming being facetious due to the altercations with the incompetent staff. There are cameras on all of the entrances of the house, which was not an issue per se, but it does legally need to be disclosed on the rental information. When I informed them, it would be notated in the review. They informed me that they would notate that I was troublesome. And short, the property management company leaves a lot to be desired and as long as you don’t have any questions and you do exactly what they want it should go seamlessly. As far as the Home, it is gorgeous the homeowners have done a very good job.

RebeccaThe sheets had hair on them but thankfully I brought my own sheets. The floors needed to be mopped. Wet open and plenty of space to entertain. Otherwise they had everything you could need. No iron for out of town guests to iron clothes. We were in town for a wedding, the bridge was up so allow more time just in case bridge goes up. We allowed 30 minutes for the 5 minute commute and almost missed the wedding. It was super easy to uber everywhere, which I highly recommend. We would love to stay again when we have more time to enjoy all the things that St. Augustine has to offer.

KellyWe had a great stay at Bayfront Cottage. We loved watching the dolphins and fishing from the private dock. We usually stay in the historic area. It was only a 7 minute walk across the Bridge of Lions. It was great to be on the water and also be so close to everything.

Jason G.Wonderful location and a short walk or uber to the historic downtown city center. We loved the dock and saw dolphins swimming in the bay. The view from the backyard is breathtaking and sunsets are a must see. The only one thing I don’t like was that someone entered the home when we were not there and I was not notified They left the side gate open and turned off the A/C. Not a big deal but it would have been nice if I got a call or a message so we expected it. I am looking forward to a return trip !

RyanMy girlfriend and I came up with two of our four kids to take in the Night of Lights, and we had an amazing time. The location was great, just a short walk across the bridge to get to town. Further, the views from the backyard of the town all lit up was a sight to take in.The place was large enough for us four, and could definitely accommodate a few more comfortably. My only complaint was the plumbing, and we had to plunge the toilets after nearly every single use. Also, when we ran the washer and dishwasher at the same time, water came up through the tub and one of the toilets. This was an issue for us, as the kids were no longer able to use the tub. That said, the management company was responsive and got a plumber out tot he house to address the situation the same day.I would definitely recommend, but they need to get the plumbing situation figured out because it certainly seemed like it wasn’t just a one off situation. Four of Five stars.

RachaelI am absolutely thrilled about our experience here. The location is perfect. It's close to town and the beach. The house is in great condition, and it's just charming! It was so clean, we didn't wear shoes inside, you can tell they keep the home really clean! The property was amazing to stay at. The view of the town and the Bridge of Lions is just incredible. It is so peaceful and beautiful on the dock. We saw least 5 pods of dolphins over the course of our stay! We will definitely be back! The Proper Group rep, Jordan was very helpful and responsive.
