Welcome to a taste of Montana right here in the Oldest City! This modern home is situated in historic Lincolnville. Step inside and you’re immediately taken aback by the openness of the home with its high ceilings and unique garage-style back wall. The loft provides additional high windows bathing the home in peaceful, natural light. The Montana-inspired decor includes antique skis, snowshoes, and sleds with runners. Sprinkled throughout the home, they add a bit of whimsy and fun.
The kitchen is modern and spacious with the washer/dryer behind a barn-door adjacent to it. Lots of counter space to work and plenty of pots and pans to use. There are two microwaves – one in a closet to the left of the fridge and another in the master bedroom closet along with a mini-fridge. There is bar seating on the other side of the kitchen island and the dining room table is right next to it. There’s also a small bar behind the dining table with plenty of wine and liquor glasses. In the kitchen is also a small breakfast table where you can bask in the morning sun and enjoy either drip coffee or coffee made with the Nespresso machine!
The ensuite master bedroom is downstairs and the room itself is dark because of where it’s situated.
Head up the circular staircase to the loft where you’ll find an ensuite guest bedroom with books and a large screen TV. Just outside is a second guest room with a small twin bed nestled in the window-seat.
Incredible wood cutout art pieces can be found throughout the home and bring another sense of the Old West to this unique house.
While this home doesn’t have any true closets, there is plenty of storage space for your clothes. Everything from dressers to drawers under the bed can be found. For those who want to hit the beach, there are two beach towels available for you to take with you.
In the main living area is an 80” TV with a DVD player, sound system, and lots of CDs you can enjoy. A comfortable L-shaped couch allows plenty of seating for everyone.
At the front door, there’s a wooden porch with a small table and chairs for morning coffee and a Danish. Another porch at the back of the house provides comfortable wooden chairs and all around you are the beautiful native plants of Florida.
Come enjoy a bit of the Old West while you explore the Nation’s Oldest City. Come spend some time at Whitefish Lodge. It’s a vacation you won’t soon forget!
Please note: The glass garage doors CANNOT be opened.

Michelle S.It was nice to have a home base while being tourists in St. Augustine, especially with a four-year old. The house was cute and functional for our stay. The spiral staircase was a little scary to the four-year old at first, but by day two, he was up and down without issue. According to the listing, we should have been able to leave the car and walk to most of the locations we were visiting: the Fort and the Ancient City’s Downtown. We made the decision to drive to the Visitor Center and use that lot after mapping out walking with distances and times. The location of the house did mean that I experienced places that I’d never explored before as in the past, we’ve driven in from elsewhere using A1A or Rte.1. The neighborhood is very busy with walkers and joggers which speaks to its safety and walkability. Overall though, happy with our stay and the location of the house.

Marcy K.This home is so whimsical and fun and really could earn five stars with some very minor modifications. The location is terrific and the home is very comfortable. I stayed with my teenage twin daughters and my cousins who were also in town for the wedding spent time with us there making it a great girls’ weekend.

Monica Y.We loved the Location, Beds & Hot Showers! The unique modern meets Montana theme appealed to us & was especially apropos for our wintertime visit. The Lincolnville location was quiet & perfect for exploring all of St Augustine by foot or ride share. The neighborhood has a ton of history & we recommend you build this into your plan to explore it. The beds were heavenly & like sleeping on a cloud! We were grateful for the great nights rest to start the NY refreshed! Our family (2 sibling couples & Mom) used the entire space which is reflected in our experience. The home description could be made more clear regarding the layout of bedrooms & bathrooms. Mom had 2nd story loft bed which offers no privacy, light & noise from first floor & she had to use the en-suite bathrooms during sleep hrs which was ok for us but could be awkward for guests not aware the setup. After long days exploring by foot, we found ourselves competing for a comfy space to gather as family. The sofa is best for 2-3 persons comfortably. Others had to sit on DR chairs. Overall we found the cleanliness of the home ok & a refresh of the kitchen needed to make it complete as described. We were expecting a nespresso machine as advertised, however, there wasn’t one. The cutting knives were like butter knives. We had to scrub 2 pans with a tired used sponge (&no spares) to be able to use them & there was no dish soap, only hand soap & DW pods. We recommend & would stay again as a couple or 2.

Ann A.Never been here but the friends thought it would be fun. It was. The property is close to a lot. We couldn’t figure out the TV- but was a blessing, we didn’t need that noise! The BEDS were wonderful. Had a minor problem with password for WiFi but was my non-tech understanding but was contacted by the property person and got it solved very fast. Great property and stay, would definitely stay there again. Thank you Whitefish lodge, we loved your decorations

Darlene B.Property was as described in listing. It was clean and cute. Downtown not a far walk. Neighborhood was quiet, except for some construction remodeling on house next door. Not on the weekend though. Communication was quick and easy thru the app. And they were very accommodating. if you are going with more than 2 people, and want to sit out back on the deck, I would suggest bringing a couple of outdoor bag chairs. Because we loved the back deck area!
