Tranquil Treehouse Retreat Walk to Beach, Amphitheater & Lighthouse

Exceptional property in every regard. New home in immaculate condition. Super clean with many amenities provided such as shampoo & conditioner. Central location to the beach as well as downtown St. Augustine. You could easily bike to either. Walking distance to the The Amphitheater. Quiet neighborhood. As a discerning traveler I highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay that is close to everything St. Augustine has to offer and more. Positive: We loved staying at Treehouse by the Sea. The location is easy to get to and close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The house was clean upon arrival and stocked with everything we would need for a 4 day stay. The bed's were very comfortable and I loved that there was a movable fan in every room (I like sleeping with a fan on). We only ended up with 4 people sleeping here but it definately comfortably fits 10. We can't wait to stay here again and for a longer stay. Negative: The departure cleaning instructions were a little confusing. The instructions emailed and the instructions inside the home were a little different. We followed the instructions that were in the home, but felt uneasy leaving because we weren't sure 100% sure what we should have done. Though what was expected wasn't unreasonable. The cleaning fee was a little high as well but we felt the overall price of the stay was fair.

Very quiet area and comfortable accommodations. Only one draw back, the master bedroom shower didn’t drain well. Be ready for a list of todo’s at checkout.

Hello everyone, i have to say all my family loved the house, super private which i love having privacy. The rooms were super comfy... the kithen spacious the table and living room with big fat sofas. There were 2 details i have to mention, 1st, is that in your room pictures from the web showed 2 bunks twin beds and a queen and happens to be 1bunk twin bed, which 2 of my brothers children had to sleep with them in the master. That was a bummer and 2nd is that the shower drain from the masters was a bit clogged. I would say that! Was the only thing the rest was just perfect... maybe for future reference you might wanna tell the owner to have a kettle for hot water and a espresso machine lol just saying. But overall everything was on point. the communication with Tom was fast, everytime! Well witouth anything else i would definitely rent this house again ... great for any occasion. Thank you all for your great service!

Renter beware, there is a management company operating this unit. They were very responsive via communication but not actually solving the issues. The issues we had were major, first we arrived late and a smoke alarm was beeping. We contacted the management group and their solution was to create a ticket. This ticket was not resolved until 9 pm the next day. We were able to solve the problem ourselves at 3am in the morning. The management group refunded us one day. The second issue was Wifi, there was no operational Wifi when we arrived. We let them know and the sent someone over to fix the problem, however they didn't fix the problem they accidently gave us access to the router in which we had to setup the network. Further, the cleaning instructions at the location and the ones they emailed us were different. They had specific, extensive requirements with penalties for not doing each of their requests. Overall it was a bad experience, I would not recommend this unit or this agency.

The steepness of the stairs needs to be stressed. No dishwasher pods or extra trash bags. The decks are in bad shape and don’t appear to be all that safe! The air conditioning on the first floor is not cooling, if we had stayed for more than three nights it would have definitely been an issue. The cleanliness was excellent and it was a good location for us. Very pretty and the kitchen had good equipment! Overall it was an enjoyable stay for the weekend.

We absolutely loved this home! Location and layout were perfect for us. Even though the house is located close to A1A its unbelievably quiet and secluded. The located is perfectly straddled with quick beach access and down town. Beds were comfortable and the house was outfitted with an awesome grill, nice kitchen ware and nice compact beach chairs. The view from the balconies was amazing and we are already considering a return trip!!!

We were in town for some concerts at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The tree house was perfectly located next to the park which allowed for an easy and fun commute back and forth. The house itself was very clean and very spacious. We had a wonderful trip, would recommend.

Treehouse by the Sea provided a comfortable place for our group. With 10 people staying, we were worried it was going to be a squeeze, but the property easily accommodates the maximum number that they claim. The property itself seems brand new with an extremely clean and well decorated interior. The Proper Group was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had throughout our stay and overall provided a peaceful and spacious place to stay for almost a week at an incredible price. Highly recommend Treehouse by the Sea!

The treehouse was the ultimate location and setting to have a great time for this years 3 nights of Widespread Panic. We were very comfortable with 3 couples, everyone having their own space and bathroom was awesome. We loved sitting on the porch and proximity to the beach was great. There are a lot of stairs at this property, would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. We had a great time cooking in the beautiful kitchen and on the provided grill. We all decided we want to book this property again next year. Biking or walking to the Amp was simple.

Check in and checkout were smooth and straightforward and communication in general couldn't have been better. At one point in our stay we embarrassingly locked ourselves out around 8pm but we were able to get it resolved in about 15 minutes! Would definitely recommend.

House is exactly what you see online - bedrooms are the perfect size. The house is close to a main street - can be noisy at times - lots of joggers and bikers passing by. Within walking distance to the beach. For the amount that is charged for the cleaning fee the owners ask a lot of you before you leave the premise and charge you extra if you don’t adhere to their instructions. Overall very happy with our stay would rent again.
