Sol Mate Htd Pool/Rooftop Deck at the Beach/Peloton

Our family enjoyed our stay at Sol Mate. Unfortunately for us the weather was too hot to get to enjoy all the amenities the house had ( hot tub, roof etc) . The house is super close to the beach and the beds were comfortable. The elevator was great to have because the house has alot of steps! The host the Proper Group was extremely responsive. When the gas grill that we saw in the picture and expected to be there was not there they went out and bought a new one for the house! When we couldnt find something they immediately located it for us and fixed lights that were out. Excellent service. The only thing they could not fix was the hood fan over the stove which was not operational. There was also construction going on next door when we were there which we were not told about but i'm guessing they did not know about it when we booked. All in all our family was happy with the house.

We have been coming to Anastasia Island for 3 years and this has been the best property so far! The location and views are great and we had everything we needed. The property manager was on top of everything. We had enough space for our whole family. They have an everything you could need.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The house provided plenty of room for our large group, was very clean, and was well stocked with all the things we could have needed. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and having a pool and patio area to relax in after a long day at the beach was also very nice. We did have a few issues during our stay, though. The hot tub jets were not operational and while the hosts wanted to fix the issue, it wasn’t something that could be done during our stay. One of the TVs was damaged with streaks going down the screen. The listing stated that there was a gas grill, but there was not one there for our stay. They also indicated that charcoal would be provided for the charcoal grill, but it was not. Additionally, the property could benefit from some updated pool/beach toys and rooftop deck lounge chairs as they were very tattered. The house and location itself were great, but these inconveniences could be improved in the future to make this a 5-star stay!

We are from Jacksonville Beach, but this was great for our local family of 4, my brother's family of 5, and his dog, Roy. The location is amazing, and the property is big and beautiful. The beds are super comfy, and there are plenty of towels and laundry—there are three washers and dryers in total! We only stayed three nights, had two wonderful family dinners in the big kitchen/living room on the third floor, and one night out for dinner at the Conch House (local favorite). The elevator was super helpful for bringing luggage to the 2nd and 3rd floors and food and supplies to the 3rd floor. We used everything: the rooftop for sunset and tanning, the pool, and the beach. The only recommendation is to update the beach chairs, as a few were quite old, and we needed 11.

There were 16 of us in town for a family funeral. Sol Mate was the perfect place for our family. Plenty of spaces to be together or also alone for quiet time. Anything and everything we could possibly need was provided for all ages, 2 to 72. A wonderful time.

We stayed at this beautiful beach house for our St.Augustine trip with 5 families with kids . House was exactly as described and was everything we could have hoped for a relaxing, fun filled with unforgettable moments for all. It was a beautiful beach house just a short two-minute walk from the shore, making it easy to catch the sunrise each morning. Stepping onto the sand in the early hours, watching the sky transform into stunning shades of pink, orange, and purple, was absolutely breathtaking. House has all kinds of amenities enough to cater the the large group . We all enjoyed the Pool(heated) and Hot tub , it was big hit for the kids. House has lots of entertainment and games for all to enjoy. Spending time on the Roof top to watch sunrise or sunsets is an excellent way to spend leisure time for all. House maintenance was quick call away when we needed. Beach house location was perfect and quick drive away from Castillo de San Marcos, Will definitely recommend the house.

This property featured upgrades like extra paper products, a well-stocked selection of spices in the kitchen, and provided coffee and garbage bags. It offered many amenities that are typically not included in rentals, which usually only provide a starter set. I truly appreciated having these items available, as it saved me from having to make a trip to the store.

Our family loved Sol Mate. The location is perfect-about three houses away from the beach access with a couple grocery stores nearby to choose from as well as restaurants. We had brought a tree with us but no need! The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays with charming touches. The house was spotless and everything was in good working order. Even a separate ice maker! They hade built in child gates at the top of each staircase which was really appreciated. We would definitely book again!

This is a very nice home with great amenities but we can not give it 5 stars. In all communications from the property management company, they boast about a 5 star rating. It began upon arrive as our crew walked over the dune to the beach and greeted by a fleet of bulldozers and front loaders that were there to rebuild the beach by pumping in sand from offshore. To add, this turned out to be a 24x5 operation supported by mobile floodlights and the beeps of machine backing up all night long. While we understood the work they were doing, no one let us know ahead of time.

The house was fabulous! Plenty of room for all of our family of 11 (grandparents, kids and spouses, 5 grandchildren). It was very clean, beds were very comfy! The kitchen was large and very well equipped, it had everything we needed, as well as plenty of space for what we brought. The elevator was a great help when checking in and out. Very easy walk to the beach just a few houses down a quiet street and over the dunes. The listing was very accurate and the house was even better than it looked in the photos! Would definitely come here again!

Convenient to the beach. Pool was wonderful. Very well equipped house. Decor beachy and comfortable. Needed a few handyman fixes ( several sinks the faucets drip, one sliding door handle falling off so couldn’t open. No recycling bin. Some light fixtures didn’t work. But all in all for our family it was perfect. Communication with the Proper group very efficient.

Great house for our large group. Lots of places to hang out and not feel on top of each other. Loved the available items from coffee choices in the kitchen to makeup remover in the bathroom to beach items… the pool and spa were a nice addition. I would stay here again. OH don’t forget it’s 3 houses to the BEACH which is so nice!!! Walking distance to restaurants also!!

The house is clean and comfortable. We were told we could check in early at 3:00 but when we arrived at 3:30 the house was still being cleaned and the code did not work. The management arrived within minutes to fix the problem so it was not a problem. It has most everything one needs for a vacation although the linens and towels could be upgraded as well as cutlery and some of the pans need to be replaced (minor details). Also there is construction going on back of the house (2 houses are being built) so there is noise starting about 7am. The second evening there was either a drug bust or gang arrest a few houses down so more excitement than I expected. However I want to note the area is safe and I had no other incidents. The hot tub needs to be cleaned as it was filled with sand so I did not use it except to dip my legs. The pool seemed clean and my husband did swim a couple of times. The cushions outside were a bit stained and seemed old. Although inside the house was clean the furniture outside seemed to be neglected.The house is situated within 15 minutes drive into town and steps away from the beach. Also walking distance to many of the restaurants and shops so I really liked the location. I would still rent this place again and recommend it.

This was our family's first stay at "Sol Mate"...it is a beautiful home! We had 15 people from 12 to 72...we all loved it. The home had enough space to sleep us all easily. We appreciated the "extras"... such as toys for the beach, the beach towels and beach chairs. There was plenty of gathering space for us all to eat together and then also for everyone to have their own "get away spaces". The home is just an easy...almost private...walk to the beach. The porches are wonderful to sit for coffee, but the rooftop deck is fabulous for sunrises, sunsets and to watch the fireworks at the pier! 'Sol Mate" was very clean (in these days we all appreciate that) and I would highly recommend it.

The house was exactly as pictured and described. An added bonus was arriving to find it decorated for Christmas! The pull out couches were not comfortable if needed as a bed and one was actually slightly broken (declined at the head of bed); however, there were twin size mattresses in the garage that were able to be used as an alternative so we did not have any issues with having a comfortable sleep space. My dad has an emotional support dog and they stayed in the room attached to the basement which was a perfect space for them!

We got together with extended family for the holiday week. They layout of the house was perfect for our group. Kitchen, main living area and master bedroom were on top floor. 4 other bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were on second floor. Sixth bedroom was in a separate area of back of garage. House was well appointed. Lots of dinnerware for a large group. The rooftop deck is amazing. It’s huge! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Back access is super close and there were plenty of beach accessories in garage to use. There is a surf shop and several restaurants in very short walking distance. All were good. Wow! We had such a fabulous time at this gorgeous place!! My husband & I and our adult children (10 of us total - we don't have grandchildren yet) go somewhere different every year, and honestly it doesn't matter where we go just as long as we are together... but Wow this place added such special memories!! The rooftop is like being on a cruise ship -- the sky and the ocean views are just breathtaking!!! We have a couple of musicians in our family (Spooky Island - band name) that played the guitar and sang on the roof for us under the stars - awesome memory!! We celebrated one of our daughters recent engagement on the rooftop too <3!! Beach access was perfect!! Very clean beautiful home & very accommodating!! We used the pool often & it was a delight!! We loved staying at this house. The pool was awesome, we loved cooling off in it after being at the beach. The beach was so close, a short walk down the end of the street. We loved our stay at Sol Mate, and have booked again for next year. The house was beautifully decorated and met all of our needs, plus some. Extra amenities were a big bonus, i.e. shampoo, lotion, makeup wipe offs, beach towels, 3 washer and dryers, laundry detergent, dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. it was very well stocked for our arrival. With a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, or local shopping, the house is centrally located in a perfect spot.

The house and location were wonderful. The layout of the house worked beautifully for the 7 adults in our party providing plenty of space for gathering together as well as a place to retreat to after a great day of sightseeing. The elevator was a huge plus as one person in our party was on oxygen and the elevator enabled them to go up and down the levels with ease. The rooftop was incredible. We watched several gorgeous sunrises from the rooftop while enjoying our coffee. The backyard was great with the pool and hot tub. The location worked out perfectly and the pier and various restaurants were within easy walking distance. Check in and check out were super easy and convenient. We highly recommend Sol Mate.

Nice big house in a great location. Steps from the beach and walkable to restaurants, ice cream, entertainment. Pool and roof deck are both nice private outdoor spaces. Roof deck is massive with beautiful views and pool and jacuzzi are well heated and come equipped with kids toys, floats, etc.. We had three family's, two familys with two small kids each and we had plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING! Originally booked the house to vacation with my two brothers with their wives and my sister and brother in law but due to a death the my man and myself wereonly two who made the trip because the house looked too amazing not to go. We loved our stay at this house! It is extremely spacious and beautiful. The rooftop was by far our favorite and was truly spectacular! The location could not be better with the 15 second walk to the beach. The pool was extremely warm which we loved during the cold front and the hot tub was great. Sol Mate is a dream vacation spot ! We had a small wedding reception with just our family and it was amazing!! The house was clean, everything was just as expected… and customer service is stellar. I highly recommend this location and we will be back as soon as we can!

Located steps away from the beach and a quick drive to historic St. Augustine!. Views from the rooftop deck were terrific. The kitchen and one living room are on the third floor. Which meant - i had ocean views while washing dishes - score!. The elevator made moving in so easy. The third floor was our hang out space - with plenty of seats - kitchen island stools, dining room table chairs, a new white leather couch. This floor conveniently had a half bath. The second living room was key - when some wanted football and some wanted anything else! The hot tub was relaxing (there were plenty of beach towels). Detergent was supplied for laundry. The host was responsive. We had trouble with the entry code - and someone answered the phone immediately and solved the problem. They gave me a recommendation for a caterer. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans, drip coffee maker, toaster, TONS of glasses/plates/bowls. The only missing item i noticed was a cookie sheet LOL

This is the second time we had our family gathering here! The place is amazing! Great location, great amenities, and the beach is just steps away. Lots of parking space, there was already cleaning supplies, spices for cooking, and tons of dishes to serve great meals! Highly recommend this house for vacation!

Sol Mate did not disappoint! Everything was just as pictured and described- but better. The time and care put into the decor was over the top!We had a 90th birthday celebration for my father-in-law at Sol Mate with a total of 32 family and friends in attendance. In all, we had four homes rented for the various families and used Sol Mate as the primary gathering area for get togethers.The roof top deck was a favorite spot for sunrises, sunsets, visiting, gymnastics and a drone photo shot of everyone.The kitchen was extremely well stocked. There was a huge variety of pots, pans, utensils, flatware, mugs, glasses, and dinnerware. There were also several platters, pitchers, tureens and serving bowls. The island was excellent for our buffet-style meals and served as a great central location for the kids to decorate cookies.The beds were so comfortable! It usually takes a couple of nights for me to sleep well but I settled in right away in my bed. The king beds all had controls to lift the head of the bed while the 3rd floor master also had the ability to raise the foot of the bed.The bathrooms were all tastefully decorated and well equipped. The soaker tub in the 3rd floor master was a wonderful bonus!The 3 living rooms really lent themselves to the social aspect of the house. Individuals and groups could have private conversations but still be connected to the rest of the party.The backyard was awesome. The hot tub was used daily. The pool is a great size and now it’s heated!! The pergola with the lights made the backyard so pretty day or night.The elevator was a lifesaver! We used it to get all of our ‘stuff’ upstairs on arrival and then down for our departure. The main user was my father-in-law but most of us used it occasionally. It gave us all peace of mind to keep him off the stairs.Everyone was amazed with Sol Mate. It really put our celebration over the top. Many thanks to Don and Di for helping us create such a wonderful memory.

The Proper Group was responsive and more than happy to help with an issue we experienced during our stay. They were more than willing to remedy the issue and were easy to work with.This house is beautiful and spacious - perfect for a large group. The size of the house kept it from feeling overcrowded. The house is right by the beach, which made it very convenient to go back and forth. We had stormy weather while in St. Augustine but the house had so much to offer, this did not negatively impact our stay. The pool and hot tub were a great addition as well!

The house worked well for our family of 10 (3 families). The kitchen is easy to work in with others and fairly well stocked for cooking. The cooktop is hard to regulate, but I think that is true of most ceramic cooktops. There is plenty of seating for family meals. The separate gathering spaces are also handy. The proximity to the beach makes for easy access and having a pool was great for afternoon swims for the grandkids. The cleaning crew had done a very good job. The rooftop deck is wonderful for evening viewing of the area. We had the fortune of seeing the full moon rise bright red during our stay. We would stay here again.
