We had the best time at sea gem! It was the perfect long weekend getaway with friends and our dogs! It had a lovely beach view and so many amazing amenities for the beach and at the house! We would love to come back!

Upstairs is an amazing gathering space. Location rocks. There were minor issue that received responses. Some issue with balancing temperature between rooms (too cold or warm) so bring a sweater if needed. Would stay again.

This was our second time staying here with our church group consisting of 4 families. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, a perfectly short walk to get to the beach and a clean, beautiful home to gather together for meals and downtime away from the beach. Highly recommend this place and we will absolutely be back again!

Excellent place! We loved it. Only a few steps from the beach (which is a very clean, wide, amazing beach). House was beautiful, especially the upper area with great view. All bedrooms are downstairs, the upper area is the living / dining area and primary kitchen. Outside area was fantastic, porch and plenty of outside seating spaces with hot tub, fire pit, ping pong and more. Our kids loved it and already are asking to stay there again. House also comes with most of the beach accessories you might need (chairs, cart, toys, etc). Only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave. :)

Great spot for our family stay in St. Augustine/Butler Beach. Sea Gem offered a separate “wing” for our son and daughter-in-law traveling with our toddler granddaughter. More than enough room for 6 adults and toddler. We even had 2 extra bedrooms!Great amenities with the hot tub, bocci, cornhole and putting green. 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach and approximately 20 minute drive into historic St. Augustine.

If you’re looking for a spacious, walkable-to-beach property in St. Augustine, this is a great choice. We were looking for a home big enough for our five guests that allowed pets, but had all or most bedrooms on the first floor due to an elderly family member unable to do stairs. The mini kitchen and all bedrooms being downstairs is great for accessibility. Upstairs is a living room with a comfortable couch and a gorgeous view of the ocean, as well as a kitchen with nice stuff included for cooking meals at the house. Overall, it’s great!Be warned that the staircase going upstairs is tall (over 20 steps) and a bit narrow.3 of the 4 bathrooms are quite small and a bit awkward to navigate, and the house could use some insulation - you can hear noises throughout the house from every room. It would also be more convenient for the door code to work on both front doors instead of just one. One TV was broken upon arrival, and you’ll need to login to your own streaming services on the TVs

We loved our stay at the Sea Gem. The house is as shown in pictures. We especially had a blast utilizing the ping pong table, putting green, and hot tub in the backyard. This location had everything. Everyone was so comfortable and had such a fabulous experience between the beach, the spa, and backyard amenities. We had a wonderful stay at Sea Gem. The house was beautiful, and the upstairs living area was so comfortable with the prettiest views of the ocean and beach. There was plenty of room for 10 of us, with many different areas to hang out at that we never felt we were on top of each other. The beach was a short few minute walk and never busy, with beautiful sand and clean waters. The backyard was so much fun with all the games and activities, we spent a few nights just enjoying that. The hosts were most responsive with a few little things that popped up, and there was everything you need there for the beach, cooking, cleaning and entertainment. It was a fantastic vacation and we highly recommend the Sea Gem.

We had 11 guys get together for basically a 30 year college reunion.We practically lived in the backyard, sitting by the fire pit telling stories, grilling, playing bocce ball and cornhole, etc.The beds were very comfortable, and the huge couch in the great room was also a great place to sleep/nap as well (you could sleep 4 people comfortably on that alone)This place was also a 2 minute walk from the Ocean, 2 miles from a Publix store, and was within a mile from multiple restaurants.We brought beach supplies, but the Sea Gem already had everything needed for a day at the beach (umbrella, chairs, footballs, a beach buggy to carry them, etc.)If you want a great ocean spot that is also quiet and laid back (and has great accommodations), the Sea Gem will not disappoint you.

This property is 5-Stars across the board, is more beautiful than pictured, which often is the opposite. The only negative is the 2nd doorstep from 2nd side driveway is hard to see, which resulted in my son rolling his ankle walking out. It’s due to step up being camouflaged due to being only a couple inches higher than driveway and made from same color pavers as driveway. He was ok and this was the only negative. Beach house was very clean, had all the supplies we needed, tons of activities for our family during our wedding weekend, tons of beach toys to use as well. Navigating to and parking was easy, lots of spaces. Loved, it and communication from host was stellar, frequent and accommodating.

As soon as you walk in the door, you never want to leave! Nick was awesome to talk to you and work with. We did ask that someone let us know how to use the thermostat and nobody got back to us (and there was a lot of ladies with menopause in that house lol so we needed some air-conditioning)! Ha ha Other than that, it was awesome! It’s great for a crowd because there’s plenty of room for everyone to have quiet time or to be together. Enough room for everything… highly recommend. The location of this house was very close and convenient to the beach. Everything was very clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of dishes, cookware and utensils for every need. Bedrooms and living spaces were also well prepared for all of our needs with plenty of blankets and pillows. The backyard provided multiple options for activities and relaxation. Many beach chairs, a wagon and even a couple of bikes were provided for our use as well! Though the bathrooms were a bit small, they were clean and there were plenty of them. The only difficulties we had were minor - how to use the exterior locks for unlocking and locking the house and a fallen shower curtain in one bathroom. This house is a great option for a large group that wants a clean and well-stocked house close to the beach!

House was not as clean as it should have been. We were told to remove our shoes and the upstairs kitchen/family room floor was gritty/dirty. The shower in the family space upstairs should have safety bars. The trash barrels were both half full upon our arrival so we had to put paper items in cans with no lids. No plastic wrap and aluminium foil in the kitchen.

The property was amazing overall and extremely clean considering pets are allowed. My toy poodle accompanied us as well. Anything you could possibly need or want was already there for guest use. The host(s) were very thoughtful when choosing amenities for this house. As for the not so perfect items like the master bathroom's electrical outlet not working and a blown bulb or the TV in one of the bedrooms not pulling up the guide, those were just minor annoyances. There was, however, a substantial carpenter ant issue on the property grounds. An exterminator was there an hour after being reported and decreased the number in the backyard dramatically. There were still a few up on the deck, but only one was actually found inside the house. The quick response to the ants by property management was awesome. Now on to the not so great response. On the first night, one of the chairs in the upstairs dining area broke, sending my 72 year-old aunt crashing to the floor. Once we picked her up, we could see that the chair had been previously repaired. Supports had been added underneath to the one leg that buckled. The person who answered the call for property management showed no empathy whatsoever. When I pointed out the fact that there was a previous repair present, he said, "Things break. We repair them so this doesn't happen." Obviously, that was a contradictory statement. Compassion does not equal liability. Sometimes people just want to know that someone undestands and/or cares.

The property was perfect for a large group of older teens and adults. Loved that there was plenty of parking and multiple entrances/exits for those who needed to commute to work. We enjoyed the beach view and amenities the house offered. Since we have stayed at rentals in St. Augustine for two decades, I will say this house was one of the best stocked with cooking supplies, towels, beach toys, and general immediate needs like soaps, TP, etc. Owners are generous to leave so many things for renters. Nothing is completely perfect all the time. We had a few concerns with the (upstairs) air conditioner and WiFi, but The Proper Group was quick to respond and attempt to correct our issues. A/C technician they sent was great and even came back to check on us. He said he would be in after our stay to try more options to correct the situation. Comcast also arrived as we were departing, so I feel like they will resolve the connectivity too. Things happen when you own a home and rentals are no different, so we did not let it "rain" on our vacation. Neighbors were great too. We even had a concert two evenings from the gentleman next door playing his sax and guitar on the upper porch. He asked for requests and all the homes around came out on their balconies to enjoy. Definite beach vibe. Recommend this location!

Our family of 10 (includes 6 kids) had a wonderful stay at this rental. Beautiful beach to walk to with a lifeguard. The home had everything you could need. Backyard was great. 9 minute drive to St. Augustine beach/pier. 5 minute drive to groceries. We definitely plan on coming back in the future.

The Proper Group was excellent with communication, responding within minutes. They went out of their way to answer questions, were polite, friendly and informative. The home was perfect for our family of 16, including 6 grandchildren ages 6 months - 4 yrs old. The stairs were a bit scary. There was one gate provided, so if you have small children you'll want to bring at least one more gate for the top of stairs on back deck. My husband and I, the grandparents, stayed in the suite downstairs (all bedrooms are located downstairs w/kitchen & living space upstairs w/view of ocean) so we were able to escape the zoo! It has its' own kitchenette/bathroom/sitting area. There's a very nice backyard area w/putting green, ping pong table, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor shower, large dining table and a shed w/a bunch of beach items (wagon/umbrellas/chairs/sand castle toys, etc). Perfect location, couple minutes walk to beach. St Augustine beaches cannot be beat for family trips!

Our family of 14 really enjoyed this home. The close proximity to the beach was ideal to walk back and forth multiple times a day. The backyard was great and was full of a number of yard games. We spent every morning & evening in the hottub. Great addition to the house! We loved the living room which featured a very large couch that was cozy for all! The house was as pictured, but the rooms are on the small side. Fully adequate for our group though. We would certainly stay here again!

Our family friends (who have 7 kids) and we (who have 5 still living with us) have taken trips together before, but we've NEVER been so pleased with the rental as we were with this one. it was absolutely the best place we've ever encountered for our group. The many activities and multiple spaces to play board games inside were just perfect for our crew, and having the pristine beach right there was incredible. I enjoyed our stay. I thought the location was fantastic. It is a short drive to St Augustine and also far enough away to avoid the in town traffic. The layout of the house is great too. The beach being within walking distance is phenomenal and the sunrises are stunning. The kitchens are well stocked and super clean. All that being said this IS a Gem. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. The outdoor living area was great. We enjoyed the putting green and the grilling. The highlight was the upstairs living area. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast while looking out over the ocean. At the end of a long day, we would all enjoy a beautiful meal cooked in the well, equipped kitchen. Be careful sitting on the couch as it is quite comfy, and you may find yourself dozing off for a longer than expected nap.

This was such a wonderful stay for my whole family for a wedding anniversary celebration! We loved all the back yard options for hanging out with kiddos, and the open living space and kitchen were plenty large for our crew of 14. Our only challenge was that the floor downstairs has lots of little steps up and down and we have a couple folks with mobility challenges who found it a bit intimidating and specially at night- but it was navigable for them with extra care. We made a lot of fun memories here!

This place was the perfect location! Just steps to the beach and very close to downtown St. Augustine. The place was massive with plenty of room to accommodate plenty of people and lots of activities for hanging out at the house! My only complaint was the house had a hint of cigarette smoke smell that lingered the entire time we were there. Other than that, great place to stay! I highly recommend!
