Just 100 yards from door to beach by dedicated beach access, SEA ORCHID BEACH HOUSE is a family friendly, spacious 1,500+ sf, updated 3 BR 2 BA two-story home with fenced courtyard and comfortable front deck with outdoor shower.
Located in a quiet beachside neighborhood, only 4 homes west of the ocean, our street dead ends at the beach. A truly quick 100 yard, 5 minute walk from front door to sand. The location is perfect for true beach home fun. So convenient to walk to the beach and be able to come back and forth to the house without packing everything up! But we provide all the beach gear and rolling beach carts to take everything you need for a fun day on the beach!
When you look at our location please note that the yellow line is A1A - and the land to the right or east is the beach - so we are really close - only 100 yards!
SEA ORCHID BEACH HOUSE is one of only four town homes ---- the other three are occupied by mature adults -- very quiet, peaceful and friendly. Nestled among beach homes, the neighborhood offers a perfect location that is convenient to stores, restaurants, speedway, even day trips to Orlando, St. Augustine, Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center in Titusville or one of the many natural spring state parks.
2 Master BRs upstairs with king beds and 3d BR downstairs with queen bed:
- the larger Master BR has an ensuite BA with a king bed and a futon bed for extra sleeping options - this is perfect for smaller children that are more comfortable sleeping with parents. 42” wall mounted Smart TV.
- the 2d BR upstairs has a king bed with a hall door to shared BA. 42” wall mounted Smart TV.
- the 3rd BR downstairs has queen bed with 40" wall mounted Smart TV.
All TVs provide ROKU cable with generous streaming service.
All BRs, family room and garage have new ceiling fans and are tastefully furnished and decorated in mid century modern decor

Furnished comfortably with plenty of room for up to 8. Please note, however, that accommodating 8 guests takes into account that there are children that can sleep on the sofa, futon bed or airbeds. For comfort in sleeping, we suggest limiting all adult parties to 6 max.
We will work with you to meet your needs. Ask and we will make our best suggestions!
There are 2 full bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs) and both baths have been updated. They have tub/shower combination.
The living room has a wall mounted 50" TV with a DVD and extensive movie library that makes for relaxing moments to wind down from a full day.
A newly renovated fenced courtyard with pavers and decorative lighting opens up from the family room and is the perfect spot for sunbathing, morning coffee or afternoon drinks. We offer adirondack chairs for plenty of seating comfort. Very private area to relax.
Smoking is allowed in courtyard and front deck. No smoking in house or garage.
The front yard features a paver deck with outdoor shower and comfy chairs. Cool grass and swaying palm trees make this another relaxing outdoor area to enjoy while BBQing - we offer gas grill with propane for your cookouts.
Of course, there is a complete kitchen that can cook midnight snacks or full holiday meals. All major and small appliances are furnished and have been updated recently with dishwasher, garbage disposal and ice maker. We have: toaster oven, 4 slice toaster, coffee pot, tea kettle, microwave, ice maker, crockpot, waffle maker, rice cooker, blender, hand mixer and an assortment of spices. We provide coffee, creamers and sugar as well as tea bags and teapot to get your morning rolling.
We provide the highest speed wireless internet available if you must work or simply want to share daily photos and updates on social media.
We have Roku TVs ranging in size from 40" to 50" in all rooms with generous streaming service. Guests love our DVD movie collection for all ages.

The garage has washer and dryer and ceiling fan. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, rolling beach cart, beach bags, beach towels, for your convenience and use.
We just added a beautiful corn hole set that was custom made for us by one of our repeat families. We just ask that it be used at home and not taken to beach.
A generous tarter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and laundry pods with kitchen sponge is furnished. There are dishwasher pods and kitchen sink soap and hand soap in baths and kitchen. The showers have shampoo and body wash, hand soap and lotion.
There are garbage bags for the kitchen can and bathroom cans and we ask that you always use bags in the garbage cans. (In fact, the home is so complete that all you need bring are your personal items.) This is one of the many features our guests rave about! Perfect for guests who fly in or don't want to take up all the room in their vehicles with beach equipment.
The grocery stores are just 3 miles from the beach house, as well as a very nice new Dollar General store and there are many great restaurants nearby as well as shopping.
Visit the new Daytona One complex across from the Speedway or the new Tangier Outlet Mall. The Daytona Flea Market has so much to see and do! Plenty of great gifts and memorabilia to take home. And, Daytona’s newest attraction, Buckees!!
Max 8 guests. No over populating. Best suited for no more than 6 adults with balance of children under 18 for comfortable sleeping. But we can accommodate 8 adult guests if that meets your needs with new airbeds. If you have one or two more than 8, ask me if we can accommodate. We will do our best to make it happen without compromising comfort. A fee is added for guests over 8. We only accept 6 adults for Bike Week events and Race Weeks, Jeep Week, Turkey Rod

Kid friendly!!! The beach brings out the kid in all of us. Our happiest guests are the kids! I have repeat families that call the beach house "their beach house!"
Our home prides itself on being family friendly. After all, Sea Orchid Beach House is our family's personal beach home and the pictures featured here are my family and kids having the time of their lives!
We furnish beach toys, coolers, beach carts, beach towels, beach bags, books, movies and an overall good time! One of my kids’ favorite things to do is shower outside!
Our returning guests’ children say it’s like visiting family when they come!
We are next door to a park with basketball hoops (we have basketball, football and baseball, bat and glove). The park has a designated covered play area.
A plus is the oceanfront park across the street, SunSplash Oceanfront Park, on the beach! Great picnic spot on the beach while kids play. Bathroom facilities.
I highly recommend taking time to go to Daytona Lagoon Waterpark and Game Room! Fun for adults and kids.
Also, a trip to historical St. Augustine or the NASA Kennedy Space Center.
We also enjoy the Museum of Arts and Sciences and Halifax Historical Museum that are both very close to the beach house. Enjoy the shops and restaurants on Beach Street and you must visit Angell & Phelps candy store where they hand make the candy. You can watch candy being made through a glass hallway!
Be adventurous and take a day to spend at one of Florida's many great nature spring parks. The kids will thank you for such a fun and interestingly different day!!
Area Information
Daytona Beach offers so many fun activities and is home to NASCAR's Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Biketoberfest and Bike Week. Jeep Beach Week is an upcoming and popular new event. We are 5 miles from the speedway and our home is the perfect location to enjoy speed weeks.
We are 1/2 mile south of Main Street - the home of the famous Bike Week and Biketoberfest festivities. We have a garage to park your bikes with auto door, genie and keypad.
We are only 90 minutes or less to Orlando's theme parks - stay at the beach and visit the theme park during the day and avoid the crowds and expense of staying in Orlando:

The Intracoastal Waterway with public boat ramps is minutes from the house with direct access to ocean through Ponce Inlet.
There are deep sea fishing charters available, river cruises, SUP and kayak rentals, parasailing and so much more. Great bass fishing on the St. Johns River just 30 minutes from the beach house.
Or, take a day trip to one of the many Springs, historical St. Augustine, NASA Kennedy Space Center, Marine Land.
For race car fans, the Museum of Speed and track tours at the Speedway are a must. You can drive the track!
We always suggest a day at Daytona Lagoon Waterpark and Game Room that is just 1 mile from the house. Here you will enjoy lazy river, wave pool, slides, tubes, kid's play area, adult beverages and good food.
But the biggest attraction is and will always be THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS BEACH where you can relax with family with the safety of lifeguards and have the awesome experience of "cruising on the beach!" Of course, there are traffic free areas too if that is your preference.

A signed rental agreement by primary on behalf of all members of guest party with copy of government issued ID must be returned to owner with required payment within 48 hours of reservation to confirm. Quoted rates, unless noted differently, are for 8 guests (infants, kids and adults). Although we feel that the house is comfortable with 8 guests, that includes a mix of adults and kids. I only allow a max of 6 adults.
Please note that weekdays are defined as: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. (Exc. Thanksgiving) Weekends are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Security Performance Deposit is refunded with no damages or violations. Terms set out fully in rental agreement.
Over populating is strictly prohibited.
We are not able to host parties, weddings, reunions, etc. at the beach house other than for the authorized guest list.
Pricing for special event weeks and holidays are different than standard rates - please inquire.
We are willing to work with our guests the best we can to accommodate individual needs. Although we state certain requirements as to minimum stays - ask us - and we will try our best to make it happen!
Owner reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of rental, including rates, fees, number of guests, at any time without notice.
We have new carpet upstairs and have made the tough decision to no longer accept pets.
2 designated parking spaces. Extra parking on street but not promised. Boats. motorcycle trailers, RV parking require special arrangements. With advance notice, we will do our best to assist.

About the owner: Sea Orchid Beach House is our family’s piece of paradise! I grew up in Daytona Beach - My father was a physician who served as Chief of Staff and Chief of Medicine at the hospital. He was also the Speedway physician for a few years - this was great for getting pit passes to the races. I graduated Seabreeze High School, went to college at Daytona State College, got married at Prince of Peace Catholic Church and had my first child at Halifax Hospital. We left the area when my husband had a corporate transfer, but bought this home as our beach home to come to and let the kids experience the joy of Daytona Beach! The saying, “there’s no place like home” is so true and my ties to Daytona Beach are strong. We have family living in Ormond Beach, Palm Coast and Orlando.
Why this property? Location! Steps to the beach. 100 yards, a mere 2 -5 minute walk. Spacious floor plan and generous size. We purchased this home brand new construction. It has always been in our family. We have lovingly cared for it and updated as needed. It is not an income producing home - but a family fun producing home! We currently live in Ft. Lauderdale but much prefer spending our beach time at Sea Orchid Beach House.

What is the best feature of Sea Orchid Beach House?
Our customer service. Not only will I be your point of contact to answer your questions, make suggestions and confirm your reservation, but my local manager is there to greet you and take care of any needs that may arise during your stay. He will also be there at departure. It's such an asset to have the both of us caring for your needs.
Why is the location important?
The Sea Orchid Beach House is conveniently located in a quaint and peaceful beachside neighborhood just steps from the beach. A newly constructed beach access with stairs and ramp is 100 yards from front door. The home is close to many great restaurants and gift shops and is only 1 mile from the Ocean Walk Entertainment Complex and Boardwalk and 5 miles from the famous Daytona International Speedway!
What do I need to bring?
We pride ourselves on providing a truly turnkey home away from home. Everything is furnished for your convenience - all you need bring are your clothing, personal toiletries and buy groceries at one of the grocery stores 3 miles from the beach house. We provide starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels. We furnish shampoo and body wash. Coffee, tea, sugar packets and creamers provided to get your first morning started off on the right foot! This is especially helpful to our guests that fly. It's all here for your enjoyment - including beach gear and bikes!
How do I get key code?
We have a local manager that personally greets you and tours the home and gives you the key code and garage remote or key pad info. He is available to you during your stay should any issues arise. He will also be there at departure to say goodbye and go through the home with you to be sure you haven't left charger cords, clothes in drawers, etc and that all remotes are accounted for! It seems everything has a remote these days. We pride ourselves on friendly customer service!
How do I make a reservation and pay?
Simple! I will email you a rental agreement with detailed instructions on signing and returning. For early reservations, I
can provide a payment plan. I accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or cashiers check. What about parking?
This is explained in the Vacation Home Rental Agreement and my Manager, Domenick, will be there at arrival to show you the parking arrangements. We have 2 designated parking spaces. Any extra vehicles can be parked on the street.

Stayed a week at the Sea Orchid house in Daytona, just a couple of blocks from the main entrance to Daytona Beach and a short walk to the ocean with easy access. My family and I felt like we were at a second home. All the amenities we needed plus some with the beach gear etc. The neighbors were nice, the location was good, the condo was comfortable and clean and the owner and manager bent over backwards to make sure everything was to our liking. I would recommend this little gem to anyone!

This house is a block and a half from the beach! The beds are comfy and there are a lot of extra towels and pillows. It’s quiet and has all the amenities. I had a couple questions and the owner and her caretaker were very responsive.

The location was amazing, it was on a nice quiet street steps away from the beach. This is a great family-friendly townhouse and the neighbors are friendly. Domonick is there to greet you and check you out. He also explains how everything works from the TVs to the washer, dryer and grill in garadge! There is a ice macine in refridgerator and coolers in the garadge along with beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, and carts to tow everything for a fun day at the beach. The pier and many resturants and shops nearby including grocery stores. I highly recommend for the price of a hotel room you can have use of a three bedroom house with everything included!

It was a beautiful house near the beach and boardwalk. A really close walk where it was really easy walking with 4 kids especially with the carts that were provided in the garage. Nice neighborhood and being able to grill in the evening was awesome. My wife and kids loved everything about the house and area. Our needs were met on every level from toiletries, to sand toys. The home is just a short walk to everything we needed. The Sea Orchid is extremely nice! We had room enough for 9, and the short and easy walk to the beach made it fun for all of us. We caught many fish and even a stingray. After lots of hours in the sun, it was nice to come back and flip on the TV to watch some shows. Everyone had a great time X 50+. My Family and I enjoyed staying at this conveniently located beach house. The house was extremely comfortable; from the furnishing (tv’s, quality beds, couch), stocked with towels/linens/beach accessories/kitchen and great out door space. I highly recommend this property. *Debra (and Dom) were amazing and I can't thank them both so much for all their hospitality!

We stayed at this rental in Oct. 2020. It was nice and clean. Very family friendly. Right across from the beach. Debra and Dom were great to work with. I will be staying with them again. I have even recommended them to others. The rental was spacious. I enjoyed my stay. I have even stayed in contacted with Debra. She is wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you again for the wonderful vacation. We went for my father in laws last vacation before he passed in November of cancer. He enjoyed every moment of our trip. It was a very special vacation. I am very grateful to have taken this trip and grateful Debra let us stay in her rental.

The property manager, Domenick was great. The owner, Debra checked in to make sure we got settled in. We were close to everything. I highly recommend staying at The Sea Orchid Beach House.

This home was an amazing place for our group of 5 to stay. The neighbors were very friendly. Dominick was informative and very friendly. The property seemed to be safe even when my teenagers went to the beach at night to look for crabs. The home was a short walk to the beach. They provided beach chairs, beach toys, and towels. The house was very spacious. The bedrooms were comfortable. We would love to stay here again if we chose to return to Daytona.

This was our second year at Sea Orchid. I have to say each year we remember why we return. We literally only have to pack our clothes. Anything and everything you could ever need to vacation at the beach is thought of and furnished. The condo is so clean and I love the feeling of being at home at the beach! I did a ton of research before this trip to find the perfect rental-and this is it! Great layout, less than 5 minute walk to the beach, had everything you need! Kitchen is big enough for two to cook, and all appliances work well! Dishwasher is easy to use. There is everything you need in the kitchen (plates, bowls, glasses, pans, mixing bowls, utensils) and also for the beach (coolers, boogie boards, bikes, umbrellas, buckets, shovels). The house is comfortable and has plenty of living space. The property manager lives near by and we could text him with any questions or if we needed anything. The owner was terrific about answering all my questions when we were deciding where to stay. She made it very easy, and contract is easy to understand. It was very clear what was provided and what we needed to pick up from a near by grocery store. Would love to stay here again when we are back in Daytona

What a great place to spend the month in Daytona! Situated on A1A just on the edge of Daytona proper. Close enough to get to the center of town quickly but just far enough to be outside of the traffic. Beach is truly a 5 min walk away and close enough to hear the waves from the front yard. Plenty of beach toys, bikes for children and adults(beach is great for bike riding at low tide - after all, they used to race cars on it and still allow cars today!) We had a great stay! I

This place was amazing. The owners really thought of everything for you even if there rainy days they had entertainment for you. Really love that the place was very spacious and organized. This place was worry and stress free. Everything you needed from beach tools to eating was there just need the food and drinks. This place was also so convenient, only 5 minutes to beach walkway, and 10 minutes to grocery stores and attractions. This place made me and my family feel like its our home away from home. The Sea Orchid Beach House is absolutely amazing! Our family decided to take a last minute vacation and came across this rental. The price was great and the pictures looked awesome so we decided to book a four day stay. We are so glad we did! Debra responded to our inquiry right away and made the booking process super easy. Our time in the beach house was fabulous. The house is well kept and in a peaceful area. The house literally had everything we needed, and the manager, Domenick, was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Last, but not least, the location is perfect with the Beach, several restaurants, Daytona Lagoon, and the Boardwalk all in walking distance.
