You will quickly relax and enjoy your stay in Venice in this updated, well furnished 2 bedroom/2 bathroom second floor condo overlooking a private county club golf course. Open floor plan and vaulted ceilings make the home feel spacious. A row of cascading sliding doors that runs the entire length of the unit allows for an abundance of natural light and makes for an airy and grand living space with a million-dollar view. Relax in the Ekonos Stressless leather recliners as you watch an abundance of wildlife along the bank of the waterway and take in the golfers as they approach. You will soon come to know this as a favorite spot to take in the sunrise and sip your coffee or watch the day turn to evening as you savor a favorite cocktail. The living room is well appointed with a 75” smart TV and comfortable furnishings. The primary bedroom suite has a luxury adjustable king size bed and smart TV along with a desk/work area. The upscale primary bathroom has dual sinks, granite countertops, cherry cabinetry, floor to ceiling tiled walk-in shower, and large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom is large with a king-size bed and large walk-in closet and has a cozy reading nook. You will find everything you need to prepare scrumptious meals in the modern and spacious well-equipped kitchen with high-end finishes including granite counters and updated lighting fixtures. The unit has a utility room with full size Maytag washer and dryer. One assigned carport parking spot is included and there is plenty of available extra parking for residents and guests. A heated community pool is within steps of the unit and there is a carport storage room for your golf clubs, bikes or other recreational equipment. Beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and a wagon are also provided for your pleasure. The condo is accessible with stairs (no elevator). The HOA does not permit renters to have pets. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit. All utilities, WiFi and Cable are included, bring your passwords to stream your favorite content. Minimum monthly stay is required per HOA regulations. Additional 13% city & county tax rate applies to rental periods less than 6 months. Cleaning fee included in the rental rate. Reservation confirmation is dependent on Homeowner Association Application review, Background check and approval. A $150 fee due to HOA upon submittal of Application is required. This process ensures the safety of all residents. Additional Note: The Plantation Golf and Country Club is private; however, this unit comes with the option for you to have use of a social membership that allows for the use of all the Country Club facilities (athletics and dining/special events) except for golfing. The fee is designated by the Country Club and is $120.

The view of the golf course cannot be beat! We love to sit and relax in our Ekonos Stressless recliners and watch the golfer on approach. There is a large variety of birds and wildlife we see daily as well. When it is hot, we are steps away, just directly across, from the community pool that is heated when its cooler or and cooled when it is hot. It is always just right for a refreshing good time. Our unit is open and airy and a lot of natural light encourages relaxation and a worry free escape.
Farmington Vistas at the Plantation is in a highly sought after and desirable location in close proximity to several gorgeous Gulf beaches, shopping, dining, recreation and historic Venice Downtown. It is also 5 minutes away from the upcoming Wellen Park area that features CoolToday Park Stadium, the new Atlanta Braves Spring training facility where you can attend games during the season and a variety of other events and concerts throughout the year. The new downtown Wellen Park also features many new upscale restaurants, shops, a lake with trails and kayaking as well as other local shops and activities such as a weekly Sunday farmer’s market. Venice fishing pier and Sharky’s on the Pier restaurant are a short 10-minute drive. A little further drive is to Sarasota, Siesta Key and Lido beaches and other attractions such as Armand Circle, marinas, Mote Aquarium, Jungle Gardens, Boca Grande and Englewood beaches. The area is known for some of the best fishing in the world and there is a plethora of options available. You will be a 10-minute drive to I75 as well.
The Plantation Golf and Country Club is a short walk from our unit and you do have the option of using our Athletic/Social Membership for a small fee.
If you are a Foodie you are going to love the area for all the wonderful and unique places nearby and within a short distances. A local favorite is Metro Diner, they have the BEST fried chicken. In Punta Gorda, we love the Celtic Ray for outstanding Irish pub and restaurant. Old Downtown Venice offers a few notable establishments we've tried, Daquarie Deck and Made In Italy. Beach front you can dine at Sharkey's for casual fare or in their upstairs dinning room, Finn's, for a little more upscale experience. A short drive to Englewood will bring you to the beach and the Sand Bar Restaurant, you can enjoy live entertainment every day while you enjoy a great meal and sip cocktails. If you are a boater, be sure to get out on the water to explore Lemon Bay and Stump Pass Beach, which is only accessible by boat at this time. The intercoastal is a wonderful scenic journey and you can fish some of the best fishing spots in the area right along the intercoaster. Venice is known as the shark tooth capital of the world and Caspersen Beach is your go to for prehistoric shark tooth hunting. You can buy or rent a shark tooth sifter to make it an extra cool day on the beach. If your lucky enough to scoop up our place in April, make sure you don't miss the annual Shark Tooth Festival too.

A $1500 + $150 HOA fee deposit is required to hold a monthly reservation. Deposits are fully refundable 90 days or more prior to 1st day of reservation. They are non-refundable less than 90 days before 1st day of reservation. However, if another renter is secured for the time being cancelled, the deposit will be returned (less the HOA application fee if already submitted).
FOR HIGH SEASON (January to March), a $2000 (per month) + $150 HOA fee deposit is required to hold a reservation. Deposits are fully refundable 120 days or more prior to 1st day of reservation. They are non-refundable less than 120 days before 1st day of reservation. However, if another renter is secured for the time being cancelled, the deposit will be returned (less the HOA application fee if it was already submitted).
The reservation deposit will be applied as the security deposit once tenant moves in. The security deposit will be returned within 5-7 days of departure, subject to inspection. The 13% Tax applies to rentals less than 6 months per State and County Regulations.
Balance of rental fees will be due 14 days prior to the 1st day of the reservation.
Must Visit
This condo in Venice is perfect for anyone wanting to visit the southwest area of Florida. It was extremely convenient to have access to the country club for dining, the pool, gym, or even the pickleball court! It was in a prime location where we could explore some of the best beaches in Florida like Venice beach and Siesta Key beach. It is not far from Sarasota where you can drive to enjoy great restaurants, bars and shopping. The condo was also super comfy, had a great view, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The hosts were friendly and super helpful as well. My boyfriend and I would definitely stay here again in the future!
