This is not your typical canal home that are rented throughout Marathon. This one has open water, privacy and an un-obstructed view. This property overlooks a large water cove, deepest point is 25 feet. So much marine life to enjoy right from the dock, including tarpon tailing, manatees, rays and porpoises and snapper. Beyond the cove is the Gulf of Mexico, to the east is Vaca Cut ocean access and to the west 7 mile bridge ocean access. The best part is that there's 75' of waterfront for your boat dockage (up to 32' boat for this rental). There is also plenty of room for your vehicle and trailer.
Accommodates sleeping 4-6 people with one king, 2 twins, and a single roll-away bed (please advise if your party is over 4). Fully stocked with cookware and linens. Just bring your boat, dive gear & tackle! If you don't have a boat, we'll guide you to boat rentals and they can deliver one right to your dock.

We spent 10 days at Joe's condo. Everything was perfect , spacious , clean & very comfortable. The view of the bay was gorgeous. There were manatee that came up to the seawall as well as parrot fish , angel fish & nurse shark which was a bonus. Joe was very prompt with communication throughout the entire process.. could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend staying at this condo!

This is our 2nd time staying with Key Lime rentals. The house was exactly what was pictured and family - friendly. (to include our dogs) We were able to park a boat right out front and look over the lagoon as we ate. If you want to visit Marathon...Sombrero beach is an easy drive away, close to restaurants, snorkeling near by, islands to visit, etc...This is the place to stay!The owner was quick to answer any questions that we had or locations for attractions ions around the area. We will definitely visit again!

Myself and 4 other guys from the UK stayed here 13-20 April this year for a boat fishing holiday. Due to a delayed flight we arrived well after dark and very tired so almost crawled in the very comfortable beds with exhaustion. Next morning we were in awe of the view from the large window in the living area overlooking the ‘lagoon’. We often saw fish including large Tarpon just outside too. We had hired a 30’ boat which we could moor only a few feet from the door which was perfect. Freezer facilities in the room at ground level would have been very useful if we had not put back almost everything we caught. Everything we needed for our stay was provided, although a little extra cutlery would have been handy. There was even a few spices, bags of sugar and a few other essentials left behind by previous guests. There was plenty of clean bedding and towels, a washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, gas barbecue and even some kayaks if you fancied a paddle. Publix supermarket was within a few minutes drive and plenty of good restaurants and bars too. We enjoyed our stay immensely and plan to book again for next year soon. I may even go back sooner if I can get a couple of other fishing buddies together for another trip this year

Wow! The lagoon was teaming with wildlife: Each day we were granted numerous turtle sightings, tarpons, and parrot fish. A family of manatee came to our dock and stay for a few days: I never thought that they could be that large! The home was spotless and very comfortable. With our boat we had direct access to the bay, and in a few minutes, we could access the ocean. There are still plenty of fun fishing to try for the kids with the many snappers and tarpons living in the lagoon. We will be back next year to this magical spot.

I have lost track now of the many times we have stayed at this beautiful property. This year noted a fresh paint job throughout and new refrigerator. One of the best things about this property is that million dollar view... Saw a sea turtle and two manatees every morning. Close to all tourist activities as well. We love the bikes and great biking trail that encircles the airport.

This is our third vacation in this well-appointed, spotless duplex. The host is easily accessible and always very prompt in making our stay flawless. The view is unique as a peaceful lagoon unveils his beauty with the regular sightings of manatees, dolphins, and turtles. It is also a boat paradise thanks to easy and fast access to the bay and the Atlantic Ocean. We are already planning our fourth stay for the fall!!

Spent much time sitting along the dock taking in the calm, restful atmosphere as the view was amazing. We even had a manatee come swim up to dock. Duplex was very spacious. Good communication with both the owner and property manager.

Duplex was in a great location. Quick access to ocean ! Rented a boat and was able to keep it right out front. Unit was nice and had basic necessities. Used the two kayaks several times - they were nice to have available.

My family and I had a great week here. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Great amenities nearby and some superb restaurants just minutes away. We loved having a sunrise coffee by the water watching the wildlife and a quick kayak around Shands key before going out for the day. The whole rental process was very easy and trouble free. We will return!

This rental provides a wonderful relaxing vacation destination. The view is amazing with an occasional manatee or nurse shark swimming by. Kayaks and bikes provide exercise and adventure. Rental itself is cozy and contains all the necessities.

The location was great. The access to open water was one minute away with our boat which gave us the opportunity to go and see the sunset every night. The lagoon is filled with sea life: We saw, manatees, parrots fish, juvenile green turtle, small barracudas, snappers, tarpons, nurse shark. It was a delight for your eyes and we used the available kayak to get close and personal to the wildlife and islands near by. Joe and Mary's home was very clean and very comfortable. Debbie the manager was always attentive to our needs and very kind. I would highly recommend this home to any ocean lover. We'll be back!!
