In addition to Crabby Joes, Casualbird is great for breakfast and lunch. For dinner, Genovese's Italian Cafe offers great pizza and iIalian food at a very reasonable price. Our Deck Down Under is great for fish. All are within walking distance. A short 5 mile drive south is North Turn, literally the "North Turn" of the Daytona 500 when it was held on the beach. The food and drinks are excellent, and you'll love seeing the history of the Daytona 500 before 1950. Publix Supermarket is just 2 miles north, and Wal-Mart is about 4 miles west.
Mid- October through November are the best months in Florida. The weather is fantastic, and there are no crowds at area attractions. From the beach you can often see rockets being launched from the Kennedy Space Center-- check the schedule!

We stayed for 5 nights and overall were happy with our stay. Plenty of sleeping space and having 2 bathrooms was very helpful. The AC worked great and unlike other condos we have stayed at in the past, there is no request asking to keep the temp above a certain amount. They also have 4 fans available to place where needed. The next best thing about this condo is that it is on the ground floor and has easy access to the pool and beach. There is only a small view of the ocean, which is the sacrifice you make to have easy access to the beach and pool. No waiting for the elevators or dragging your luggage, coolers, or beach items long distances. It was worth the sacrifice of the view. Another great thing about this place is there is plenty of parking and it’s free. It also feels very safe. Doug is very responsive and easy to work with. He has several units so if this one isn’t available, you might want to reach out anyways.

We stayed in this unit for 5 nights and were overall happy with it. Plenty of sleeping spots and having 2 bathrooms is very helpful. The AC worked great and unlike some condo rentals, there was no note telling us to keep it above a certain temp, etc.. One of the best things about this place is the easy access to the pool and beach. It’s a first floor unit and on the side of the building so you don’t have much of a view of the ocean (although you can see it at a certain angle), but the ease of just walking out the patio door and walking over to the pool area or down some stairs to the beach was awesome. No elevators and no dragging luggage and coolers long distances. You do have to have someone go around to the inside to let you in the sliding door if you want to leave it locked while gone BUT you can set everything on your patio while you wait. Safe area and plenty of free parking. Doug was very responsive and easy to work with as well.
