Welcome to Villa Hibiscus, a distinctive dog-friendly waterfront vacation home in Punta Gorda, Florida, where relaxed Tommy Bahama style, Italian-inspired character, and the Southwest Florida waterfront lifestyle come together.

With a heated saltwater pool, screened lanai, private dock, complimentary kayaks and bikes, and Fishermen’s Village approximately a 15-minute walk away, Villa Hibiscus is designed for guests who want a peaceful waterfront escape without giving up convenient access to Punta Gorda’s dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Waterfront Pool & Outdoor Living

The outdoor living space is at the heart of Villa Hibiscus. Spend sunny afternoons beside the heated saltwater pool, enjoy morning coffee overlooking the canal, or relax on the screened lanai surrounded by palms and hibiscus.

A propane grill makes alfresco meals easy, while the private dock offers another peaceful place to enjoy the water and watch for dolphins, manatees, and other Florida wildlife that occasionally visit the canals.

A boat lift is located at the property but is not available for guest use.

The Space

Inside, Villa Hibiscus offers spacious, comfortable living areas with quality furnishings, linens, and a relaxed tropical atmosphere.

The fully equipped modern kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals at home, while the adjoining living areas offer plenty of room for family and friends to gather.

The first-floor primary suite offers direct access to the pool and lanai. Its spacious ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in shower designed for two, a jetted tub, double-sink vanity, and private toilet area.

Upstairs, one guest bedroom features a queen bed. A second bedroom has two twin beds that can be joined with an insert, upon advance request, to create a larger sleeping configuration approximating a California King. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom.

Additional convertible sleeping spaces allow Villa Hibiscus to accommodate up to 10 overnight guests.

Walk to Fishermen’s Village

Location is one of Villa Hibiscus’s greatest advantages.

Fishermen’s Village is approximately a 15-minute walk along the nearby walking trail, putting waterfront restaurants, bars, shops, entertainment, and beautiful views of Charlotte Harbor within easy reach.

Downtown Punta Gorda offers even more locally owned restaurants, shops, galleries, parks, and waterfront attractions. Guests can explore on foot, use the complimentary bicycles, drive, or use rideshare services.

Guests enjoy complimentary use of 2 kayaks, 4 beach bikes, and beach gear.

Paddle the canals, explore Punta Gorda by bicycle, relax at the dock, or pack the provided gear for a day at the beach—all without arranging separate equipment rentals.

A Dog-Friendly Punta Gorda Getaway

Villa Hibiscus welcomes approved dogs, making it easier to bring an important member of the family along on your Southwest Florida vacation.

Prior approval and the applicable pet fee are required.
