This Tower 1, 3rd floor unit has been beautifully updated with new stainless steel appliances in a fully equipped kitchen with white quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathroom, a comfortable couch with a queen pull out mattress for maximum comfort, a super plush leather recliner, stylish high-top bar stools, and an extremely comfortable king size bed. This unit offers the most private and widest balconies on the beach with bar height dining furniture and two Adirondack chairs.
Wondering why there are little to no reviews? We have recently purchased this fantastic unit and unfortunately lost all of the highly rated comments and 5 star reviews with this transition. That's ok though, this place is a gem, and with your help we are confident we will have those high ratings and 5 star reviews again in no time!
**** Starting August 18th, 2025, the resort will be undergoing building improvements which is expected to last till March 13th, 2026. Construction hours are 7am - 5pm Monday through Saturday; it will be noisy. The east Polynesian pool will be closed (large Lagoon pool is open) from 8/28/2025 to 11/28/2025 and the large Lagoon pool will be closed (east Polynesian pool will be open) from There will be no balcony access from Nightly rates have been reduced during this time span. ****

Such a good place location wise. Nice & cozy lil spot. Even with the construction, everything was still peaceful, and accommodating. Great spot / location for the beach. Walking distance to pineapple Willy’s for lunch or the poolside restaurant/bar. Everything was great.

I travel quite a bit and it is always contentious thinking about the reality versus the description of the listing. I was absolutely blown away when I opened the door and saw how beautiful the condo was and then I was met by a breathtaking view! I stood there for a few minutes just taking in the view and the warmth of the beautifully decorated space. The details and photos are simply insufficient compared to the experience of being there. The ease of access to the beach along with the umbrella and chairs provided was a nice touch and there are endless restaurants in the area that are easy to get to and close to the condo. John and Wendy was readily available and responded within minutes of my messages and were extremely helpful as hosts. I cannot say enough about my experience at Mermaid's Delight and I hope to return soon for another time of rest and relaxation.

Okay, I want to start by saying, What an absolute delight! This condo is very inviting and warm. If you need a place to just chill and relax and catch all of the action because you’re on the 3rd floor, this is the place. The accessibility is wonderful. This is the second condo my husband and I have stayed in, owned by John & Wendy. They are the absolute BEST! Everything comes equipped. Such beautiful and kind owners. Never met them in person but if we needed anything…..they were just a text away. Always there for the benefit of the renter if something goes wrong. People are just NOT like that anymore. For that, I thank them with my whole heart! We’re planning our next trip to Panama City because of the wonderful accommodations that were so welcoming. Wow! I don’t think I can wrap up how wonderful this air bnb & John & Wendy are in a review. To start, this is the cleanest & most prepared air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. They have everything you need in the kitchen, blankets, beach chairs etc. The view is stellar & the resort is peaceful- even during spring break! John & Wendy are so kind & amazing at responding to your needs. Check in & out is easy as well. On top of an amazing view of the gulf & beach access, there’s so much close by that’s an easy walkable distance. Pineapple Willy’s is just down the beach, sunrise cafe for a great breakfast, coyote ugly for a night out & surf style for your beach souvenirs is right across the street, & so much more right down the road that’s walkable or a very quick & easy drive. 15/10 we can’t wait to come back!

I wish I could give this property 10 STARS!! We have traveled extensively and this is the most beautiful place we've stayed. It was recently renovated with new comfortable furnishings. Beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows were so comfortable! I even asked Wendy where she got those pillows and after a trip to Dillards, I flew back to WI with 2 new pillows!!! The bathroom was very clean and I loved taking bubble baths in the oversized tub. Also, loved the washer and dryer in the unit. The balcony was almost like a 2nd living room! Huge, with comfortable lounge chairs, table and chairs, and brand new beach chairs and umbrella. An absolutely stunning view of the beach and ocean. The kitchen had new appliances and everything anyone could want. The resort property too was beautiful and 2 of the pools were heated and exceptionally clean. The hot tubs were very appreciated given the snow storm and cold snap!!! Best of all was the ease of communication with John and Wendy......very responsive! We didn't want to go home! Can't wait to come back!
